firmware finder not working... - Honor 5C Questions & Answers

I've tried several times this morning to open my firmware finder app and it's not doing anything. It goes into the app with the blue bars top and bottom and the search button at bottom but it just seems to hang?! My device not recognised and can't press backward to exit app...
Anyone else experienced thus??? Could it be the Huawei servers are down or overloaded?

mine works well, try updating app or reinstalling.

Clear the app data and cache

Thanks for suggestions, tried them but no luck. Rebooted my phone a couple of times and installed an older version(3.8) which worked then updated to latest(4.0). It's working fine now. I think it was just a problem with my wifi.

I had to switch ROM, cause the market wouldnt work with syanogenmod 7.0. So if any of you guys use this ROM, it might be the problem.

New market doesn't work right

I got the problem, that when i want to update any single app (not when i update several apps at once) via market, the loading screen after i tap "update" is going on and on, i never reach the next page, so i can't update until there is more than one app to update. I didn't have these problems with the old market. Anyone knows what to do? I'm on cm7 #127 with cm7 kernel and 725 bb.

Tap on the app, and you should have an 'Update' button
No no, i got the first update button when i hit the app, but after hitting update there is another loading screen, after which you have to confirm the update by hitting "download & install" but it never gets to that screen, it just loads forever...

I have that problem aswell sometimes.
Usually i fc the market (hold back key for 2-3secs, you need to enable it via settings first if not done already) and restart it, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Mabye try wiping market cache/data. (didn't try it myself until now because it doesn't happen so often to me)
Yup the problems are there...me too facing update probs

Yeah i have similar issues varying from slow loading/never loading, the update button being absent though there's an update for the application, and so forth.
I've found that simply going to the web market and installing it again forces the newest version out just fine though.

That bugs me too, it's usually an app that has recently been updated already, so I think it's just confused.

In the cases i've had it definitely didn't update, most recently i got the update to Clockworkmod, but it didn't update at all, so not until i went into the market and installed it that way would actually get the new version.
That's even if i tried completely uninstalling Clockworkmod on the device and then reinstalling, it would still install the older update and claim that there was an update, which there was.
This happens to be with every newly updated app, i think the problem is directly related with the new market version.

[Q] Phone frezes after installing a new app or updating an existing one

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy S 3 LTE (I9305) with Stock ROM 4.1.2 (I9305XXBME1) and since a couple of days ago, every time I update an existing app or install a new app trough Google Play or apk, the phone freezes right after the installaion is complete. It's strange that the arrows from the wifi icon are still blinking and the live wallpaper is moving, but it doesn't respond to any touches, and the only solution is restarting the phone by long pressing the power buton. Also the app I successfully installed.
I've rooted my phone with Framaroot app, and installed Superuser and ClockModRecovery.
I also have Lookout and Folder Organizer, which scan and set the new app to a folder after each install. I've uninstalled them believing they are the cause of my problems, but no luck solving the issue. I also checked the free space and I have 1.2GB free. I cleared the cache in recovery too but it didn't helped.
Does anyone have any ideeas how fix this this issue, beside a hard reset?
It would be very much appreciated.

Do a factory reset :good:
All fixed
I've retraced my steps and it seems a couple of apps didn't installed correctly (1tap cache cleaner & my font), before I've had this problem. When I open them, the phone would freeze. I've uninstalled them and the problem was fixed. I can install any app without my phone to freeze, including those 2 apps.

P9 camera unable to start

So some said it's because I updated my Android OS from Marshmallow to Nougat. It's actually a month after I upated my P9 and everything worked perfectly fine until such time when I can't start my camera. It just gives me a black display and exit instantly! I tried wiping cache, that force stop and clear data thing, hard reset, reset via settings, tried using other app that can possibly open it, however, the front camera is still working only not through thr stock app. And even the flashlight icon was gone. Now my last option wss to rollback to Marshmallow which I did aaaaaand it still didn't solved my problem. I wouldn't say I've abused my phone since I happened to know someone who has the exact same issue as mine. And both of us are waiting for a solution. Please. I've been reading post from this forum but I can't find one related to my problem.
