I am CATGEEK, a typical 24-year-old techie-fashionista girl from the Philippines and was a P7 user till yesterday (sold it already). I have been busy lately job hunting why I wasn't able to make this post. I know this is a bit late but I am pretty sure this'll help a lot. How I was able to get a solution was because I too experienced this and I couldn't really trust the service center since I've read some posts somewhere that also had the same problem-- it couldn't be repaired. So my habit whenever I brick my phone is not sleep until I find a fix. I was in the brink of being hopeless and tried to lend money from friends to buy a new phone and just sell the P7 at a lower price since it's declared defective. But I've come to a thread here that I will be sharing with you (it is inside my zip file) and my software repair skills when it comes to android phones that will help you out with this quite complicated issue. It's actually easy but of course you need to go through the process first before concluding that I am right (still to some people, this'll really gonna take their brains out ha ha! like how I did before). So let's get started!
Pre-reqs:
1.Enable USB Debugging but how?
Go to Settings>About phone>Tap "Build number" 5 times then go back to Settings>Developer options>Enable USB Debugging
2.Booting to fastboot but how?
Hold volume down and power button simultaneously until you see a white screen with android logo and "Fastboot & Rescue Mode" here you will also see whether your phone's bootloader is locked or unlocked, so since your prob here is it is locked, we will unlock it, okay?
3.INTACT BRAINS, SO IT WON'T GET OUT WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME
4.BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, HAVE CONFIDENCE!

my huawei is G615-u10 how can i solve fastboot and rescue mode

Would this still require getting the unlock code through Huawei?

I cant get to the system, recovery, the force update method wont work and the bootloader is locked. What can I do? I sent a message to huawei asking for the code, but it takes probably weeks to get it(if I should get it). I cant get it on the offical page, I keep getting an error saying 'The Huawei ID used to apply for the unlock code has not been used on the device for more than 14 days.'. Please help!

I followed the steps to fastboot reboot. Now my phone is stuck at the HUAWEI boot logo? Any ideas? I used an official bootloader unlock code from HUAWEI. I know this is an older post, but I'm hoping someone will see this, and be able to help.

HELP!!
My Ascend P7 L07 is bricked! While trying to boot system and recovery i got 3 green leds and 2 red leds and "Boot error" screen appears and fastboot is unnable to flash stock recovery/system/boot img files (Error Command not Allowed), anyone can help me?

I am also having this same problem....I can't get to recovery and I am stuck at FASTBOOT AND RESCUE mode......and USB debugging was disabled ....I can't turn on USB debugging cause my phone can't boot up.......I got this problem while flashing a TWRP recovery ........I ALSO TRIED FORCE UPDATING ANDROID (by downloading stock ROM to SD card and then pressing : vol up+vol down+ power)

Guys......I found the solution..... All u have to do is to download stock ROM of ur huawei device and force update it.....
Step 1: download stock ROM for ur device
Step2: move the ROM to ur SD card in a folder....and rename the folder as " dload"
Step 3: remove battery and press vol up + vol down+ power ......and after 10 sec release the both vol buttons ( DON'T RELEASE POWER BUTTON) afters some time , ur phone should boot into force update

I can confirm that this method worked on my Huawei Y550-L01 that was stuck in Fastboot&Rescue mode.

Z3 compact destroyed after root/unroor trial?!

Hi guys,
I need your help!
I have had a rooted Z3compact and i wanted it to unroot. But I did a mistake and now it looks like that the phone is dead.
What I did:
1. I wanted to unroot my phone. So I restarted it to enter the recovery menu. (pushing power button and loudspeaker buttons). Because of the fact that I rooted my phone the TWRP Menu appeared.
2. I entered the "Wipe-Menu" and selected all:

I dont want to select system, but I already pushed the button
I thought I can anyway at least enter the TWRP, but no!
When I now start the phone just the Sony Logo appears and that's all.
I already tried:
a. PC Companion -> Phone not detecting
b. Flash Tool -> Detects the phone but shows " This phone is locked"
-> This why the question to all of you. Is there a possibility to fix this?

Well, there is actually 2 completely unrelated tools that is both using the name flashtool.
In this case the unofficial Flashtool is what you should try as it can work on a phone with a locked bootloader as well.
So download this and try to flash a stock rom (make sure you select one that is compatible with your mode [l/B])
Flashtool can automatically grab the firmware and download it for you.

So what you did is,since you have a locked bootloader,the recovery is actually located in the system partition,so then when you wiped it you removed recovery as well.
As @-Zteam- said try using the unofficial Flashtool and you should be good.

When I do nothing after a while the phone starts (Sony Logo on display) and the tool shows "Device disconnected".
Can you give me a short instruction which steps I have to do?!

You want to select the ftf file you're going to flash, and then choose flash. It takes a while to become ready, perhaps its unpacking the file to be flashed (don't know why but it takes a fair bit of time). The phone will reboot during this wait as you've experienced. You can hold down the power button and the volume up button together for a number of seconds to power it off, unplug the cable, then replug it in flashmode again, or from memory you can just wait until the file is ready to be flashed, then plug the phone in flashmode in which case it isn't going to reboot because its powered off and disconnected.
One of those things will work, either not plugging it in until it tells you it needs to, after choosing to flash the ftf, or by forcing it off and back on in flashmode using the power button and volume button.

thing is i tried to flash stock rom on my nokia 8 with online service tool (6.0.4) but in the middle of load , the software not responding and after 30 minutes and it said the process was failed

Exactly the same occurred to my Nokia 6. Trying to hard-reset it I began playing with the vol and power keys, with and without the USB charger cable, and now it shows just a blue light or led at the upper left corner.

What ur model ? Only 1052 can use ost tool.
Are u see the tool flash partion system ?
Are u use edit firmware method ?

I had the similar boot problem. After my phone discharging i connect to charger and phone stuck on that message : Yourd device cant be checked for corruption. I have unlocked bootloader and installed android pie latest.

Hold the volume keys and power key at the same time for as long as u can....maybe even a few minutes until it shuts down. If all else fails let it drain then boot to recovery and gfix whatever caused the boot hang

Its drained just before 30 minutes, and now the view is that

I tried to fix that with OST, but no succes - critical unlock is neccesary. I've flashed with OST 6.04, 6.12, NOST 0.6, but nothing works. Also the ADB and QFIL can't see the device, so I can not critical unlock bootloader. In the device manager, phone is seen as ADB Interference -> fastboot Device, and after installing google driver as Android ADB Interference. Recovery and fastboot modes don't work, download mode works only after connecting with OST. I tried holding 3 keys, but phone turns off after about 20s and nothing happen - I can't enter recovery. I bought this device recently and some time later after turning on it showed that statement. The varranty has expired, so I can't send it to service.

Try to unlock bootloader after connect to download mode with OST(if is somehow possible)unlock him then download Nougat or Oreo firmware only from here and try to flash with OST or NOST,butt preffered NOST.

SOLVED --redmi note 9, blinking redmi logo, not starting, cannot switch off, can't enter fastboot mode also

I tried to root my redme note 9 using magdisc from pc. after completing all steps, I have given command to boot recovery through minimal adb, after that phone automatically moved from Fastboot mode and started blinking REDME on screen, a few moments later it goes black and again appear. it keeps continuing now. I tried long press on the power button for restart/switch off, but no use, it will vibrate and ON with redme logo, and will go black after few moments. i tried to enter into fast boot mode, but result is same, it will vibrate and go OFF, when I tried to connect pc, pc is not recogonizing this phone anymore. nothing is working, cant even switch off

Did you try to flash something?

Yep! upgrade from pixelUI official 3.7 to 3.8, had some intempestive reboot, so i swype and re-install and seen that, infinite boot loop, no recovery, no fastboot and phone isn't recognize by PC...
So i can't use SPflash tool to install stock rom...
Sometimes PC see the phone realy realy fast son i don't have time to verify in device manager..

How can I do that, to force flashing using sp flash tool? something similar happens to me only that it does not turn on and when I connect it to the pc comes out the following error that I will attach an image and translate:
'usb device is not recognized
the last device you connected to this computer did not work and Windows does not recognize it.'
what can i do in that case?

hello there, my redmi note 9 just got updated to miui 13 and for some time it sudenly freezes and not its in bootloop and i cant go to recovery mode nor fastboot, what do i need to do to fix this?

I have a Redmi note 10 5g global and was trying to fastboot flash Indonesian ROM using Mi Flash Tool ,it started well and stopped due Preloaded error, I tried again but it persisted so I unplugged my device and tried powering it up but it wont power on,won't show charging but only makes sound when Connected to PC,I tried alot of things to fix the Preloaded but with no success.
I badly need help To fix this problem guys..

try booting into fastboot, if not, boot into brom and flash stock miui via sp tool
open up device manager to make sure everything is right.
boot into brom by holding VOL-, VOL+ and POWER, at the same time connect the phone to ur pc. if it does the connected sound, check on device manager if the driver is missing. it should have a warning sign, if it does then install the drivers i annexed below the post (ive used them and it worked, up to u)
after installing them, by the meantime ur phone probably has restarted, so reboot it into brom once again and check devices manager. if it worked it should look something like this:

indonesian rom is fully compatible. sure u made something bad.
your bootloader is unlocked???? u have downloaded fastboot version? clean flash selected? write al steps u did with precision. i'm 100% sure is not a compatibility problem. i have installed indonesian rom more then one time without any problems
IF U CAN ENTER INTO FASTBOOT, U CAN RESTORE YOUR PHONE WITHOUT PROBLEMS. stay away from advanced procedures like restore preloader. First try the easyest solutions. If didnt work i suggest mtkclient under arch linux for reflash boot vbeta and preloader. But follow my tip: enter into fastboot and reflash stock using adbdastboot tool. Is the easyest solution
