With that package its possible to lock the bootloader again. Please keep in mind that all you data will be deleted, if you flash it!
There are three files for the different regions.
Please note that you don't try a downgrade or try to flash another region firmware!!!!

That's a official firmware package, so it should work with locked bootloader.

Step 5. When the progress bar stop, the phone will restart automatically.

The package I uploaded is for the European DUK-L09C432B120a
You could search Google with this search parameters: DUKE-L09 firmware. You should be able to find a russian or similar model firmware package from easy-firmware. As of now I couldn't verify if this site is legit or if this firmware is downloadable. Use at your own risk!

Hello all,
I've rooted my P8Lite L21 using the custom recovery method, flashed the supersu.zip, then restored the original recovery.
Yesterday I had an OTA and now phone reboot once during system boot, and at the second time it hangs during boot.
What can I do to recover this? I have stock recovery, and when I try to VOLDOWN+POWER it never goes to fastboot. (last time I had to use adb reboot-bootloader but now I can't reach system\adb..)
Can you help?

Hello,
You can boot to fastboot with this method:
Connect phone with PC then power off
Now push two buttons VOLDOWN+POWER+MicroUSB now you can install any stock ROM with fastboot commands and suitable *.img(boot.img, cust.img, system.img)

First you try to remember what is your last ROM number and your region. Or you can install the last beta on android 5.1.1(B010) need unlocked bootloader

Wait my friend this is single sim ROM
I must download dual sim if you have dual sim device
Yes I'm not shure but if you want install B170 you need first downgrade to B052 then you can install via OTA best and last ROM for you country

Because after downgrade you can install any firmware via OTA! (ROM B052 is from the box!)

Try this. Use Huawei update extractor in forum xda have link to it. Open the UPDATE.APP and extract the following files: Recovery.img, Boot.img, Cust.img, System.img
Then use fastboot commands to flash B171 ROM

I'm comming from B170 and installed 7 HD 1.2 ROM and got some errors, I thougt it would be an good to go the long way to B008 or better B010. After so searching I found: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64483642&postcount=43
- did not step 1 an under-pressed flashing recovery in step 2 and 3, thought I could yet use TWRP.
Obviously, that was the mistake.

Result bootloop, can't get to recovery, only fastboot

First 7 HD 1.2 ROM work only over the B010!!!
Second in this archive have the instructions to install Beta B008 why you not did everything described in the instructions?
Third when install stock firmware RECOVERY must be original not TWRP!!!
Now you must install stok recovery, make hard reset then install B052
After that you can install every stock firmware for your region! or follow the instruction to install B008=>B010=>7 HD 1.2 ROM

I flashed Stock and restarted and flashed B052. What do you mean with hard reset? I not comming in any menu. Only fastboot works.

When I see the message saying you need decryption key, I tried to unlock again the bootloader. It does factory reset afterwards.
I forced flash update.app, relock bootloader and I got an issue with themes.
To fix that, I unlocked bootloader and flash TWRP. I flashed the data zip bundled on the firmware. Flashed again the stock recovery and update.app
Relock again the bootloader and it did a factory reset again
after that, its all stock

I only do a force update. Used TWRP to flash the 2nd datafile that have the theme.
Hello to all. here I have a small worries. I have installed the 1st time flight Android no / emui 5.0 not finalize on my p9, i've had the right to many crashes and losses autonomy. then I lead to the shop Huawei to put the b166 this walk ... However, since i've more themes default p9, i've more magazine. and when j'applique another theme this does not work ... if someone that's help m'its would be nice.

You need to find the zip file update_data_full_hw_meafnaf.zip and flash it on TWRP. it may varies per model and I forget where I downloaded. What version you have? L09 or L19?

how about repairing from the PC app from huawei like a PC Suite? Flashrom from TWRP? or forced flashing the zip file. find more on the forums. I already left p9 months ako. im using op3 now

Hi....
First you choose Utility in SRK Tools and then choose "install /data/hw_init", on your phone you should accept supersu request and Done!
this is my solution ( made by me ) after trying many solutions over this forum @ other forums
just
1- delete any folder for themes u made (as hw_init or themes in root folder or at any site )
2- make folder & name it ( HWTHemes ) in internal memory
3- download this folder & put it inside (HWTHemes )
4- go to themes app and chose ** Aqua theme ** & apply it
5- no need to change any permissions

i unlocked and rooted my honor 5C NEM L-21, but then i changed my mind and wanted to unroot it, when i done it the device bricked. after some investigation a unbricked it via adb, but now i cant go to recovery where i have backed up my old rom. I cant even go to developers options. So now im stuck with partly functional ROM and i cant even done Factory reset. I tried to download and install ROM via Firmware Finder, but always when i try to install the rom, it writes that it is not verified.
Can anyone please help me? Im really worried. Thanks

Download stock firmware and flash it via dload method.
i dont know exactly how to do it. Do i just create dload folder on sd card, put the rom in it, then turn off the device, pres volume + and - and power button? or do i have to do even something else?
And where can i download Stock ROM? I downloaded some but i dont know if it is legit, official ROM

Only firmware which will flash via dload..should be same number or higher number...
For example if you were on b340 you can only flash b340 or higher number like b341 or 350
You cannot flash 330 without rollback pkg

It was stuck on honor logo for a long time. I tried the dload method many times but nothing worked so far. I even tried unbrick it with HUAWEI Multi-tool but it also didnt worked.
Now i cant acces anything, just fastboot. Please can you help me somehow?

No it didn't worked for me. It happened to me twice and either time it didn't work. It was always stuck on honor logo and couldn't be turned on.

Then stock firmware flash using dload
Hi guys.
I'm having problem with flashing nougat on my NEM-L21C432B132. I'm on 6.0 at the moment and I used both dload folder on sdcard method and Firmware Finder. Tried different versions and I keep getting warning saying "incompatibility with current version". How do I solve this ?
I have no root, stock recovery, unlocked bootloader. I thought it could be because of unlocked BL, but I cannot seem to lock it as "fastboot oem lock" doesn't work for me.

You can download full firmware and flash it via dload method..

Like I said it doesn't work for me as I keep getting "incompatibility with current version" error. I tried using the dialpad code and going to "Software Update" and tried the 3 buttons (VOL UP, DOWN and POWER ON ) method and I get the same error. Can I just install TWRP and flash the .zips I get from extracting the update.app file ?
EDIT: Just tried TWRP. I get error 7 and the flashing procedure doesn't even start

You are trying to flash OTA file or full firmware??

At the moment I have full firmware downloaded from Huawei Firmware Finder
The one called exactly : NEM-L21C432B352 FullOTA-MF . I believe that's the right one ? If not, which one is ?

Its not in update.app format right??
You can download full firmware from honor official site according to your model and build number..and then try to flash..

It is in .zip format but I extract it and put the update.app into dload folder. I will try to download from honor official site and let you guys now if there's any progress.
EDIT: just had a look on the website. There's no firmware for Honor 5C there. Can anyone point me how can I make nougat work and where do I download the right files ?

Just downloaded and got the same error. Please can anybody tell me do I have to be on locked bootloader to have OTA's or dload method updates working ?

You dont need to relock boot loader for ota..or upgrade..
All you have to be on stock recovery

Hello,
I have extracted the update.app from the 6.0 version, flashed boot.img and recovery.img through fastboot, and my phone found the update even without using the Firmware Finder..strange but I have downloaded it and flashed without problems. My bootloader didn't even lock after flashing which happens from what I've read. Anyway I'm on the newest firmware ATM and also it's rooted. Maybe someone can explain that in case anyone had a similar problem in the future ?

What was the size of OTA? If it was 300-400 MB then it would not harm for bootloader or recovery

OTA normally doesn't lock bootloader. Have seen this in my 5X.
Hello all!
I'm have a honor 9 lite LLD-AL10 model, LLD-AL10 8.0.0.100(675). I have with this mobile since 10 days ago. I haven't received any updated, I tried with the firmware Finder with diferents rooms from there and once it is downloaded the phones restard and start to install I get an error firmware failed and always in 6%, what I said I already try with at least 5 diferents rooms. I changed the proxy and same firmware failed. I also try installing it manual adding the update.app to the d load file in the sdcard and the same failed. So I don't know what to do and will be nice if someone can help.

I have same problem, but my phone was by the seller re-branded from china to india and ota updates are not working. Firmware finder finds new updates but I can not install them.

The Nocheck img is made for Honor View10 . Did you test it work with Honor 9 lite?

what can happen ? the update stops at 5% and do nothing.
after you can flash the stock-recovery or twrp.
Background
Huawei check the phones "if this update for this phone ?" and is the answer "NO" : update not install.
This is the point for "NoCheck.img" : this install all updates AND it's your risk WHAT for update you install.
The other word is Freedom for you AND responsibility for you.
Install never updates for other phones !
I only write what i do on my phone AND give you no warranty !

ok i have trhem already
what recovery do you use for( i tried with this onE recovery_ramdisk_BKL-L04_nocheck but when i tried to enter with volumen up +power button i get a black screen then enter to a erecovery. i flashed and the procees went ok

i mean i flashed the recovery and the proces went fine, but i dont know why i cant get in to the recovery
3 Recovery's :
1 eRecovery (stock-ROM)
2 NoCheckRecorey
3 TWRP
OTA-Updates only work with eRecovery (i am NO tested with NoCheckRecovery)
NoCheckRecovery is a modifyed Recovery what's doing is the Name : "No Check" (Post #6 : Background)
TWRP is a "stand-alone" Recovery with "Install, Backup, Restore"
If you make Backup with this TWRP (normal: data + system) you can Restore this Backup with this TWRP
Example: you have a good working ROM with settings and apps
- TWRP Backup "My ROM now 1"
if available "dev-ROM-xyz"
- TWRP wipe data
- TWRP install "dev-ROM-xyz"
- reboot to new ROM
check if this ROM work and if is it this what you need
you think "NO"
- TWRP restore "My ROM now 1"
Phone is reset to state "My ROM now 1"
i hope you understand the differences
