AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

This ROM was created by none other than the great Martin Coulon (@martinusbe). This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to update. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happilyintoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Just moved to this rom. It's quite awesome. Got System UI FC just during setup wizard, but that was just once. Just realized there is no way to disable 2nd empty sim icon on the status bar? Would love to have that, it's painful and eye hurting to have 2nd empty sim icon as a blob hitting the eye. Would appreciate if that's implemented. Also no CM Privacy Guard implemented? These are the core crucial features that has to be there in every rom, specially if its based on CM.

It is good for daily use, no bugs. But after day or so my phone was really slow, I don`t know why. Otherwise good ROM!
downloaded and using it for today. no bugs whatsoever. also seems faster than the last ROM I was trying, so I'm thinking about keeping it for a while.
later will post any review if necessary.

Those who suffering from battery drain issue please follow this steps.
Setting-display&lights-disable prevent accidental wake up.

Does the rom have WIfi Buggy?
I want stable and fast wifi. Right now on MIUI v7 i have 4mbps broadband (thats pretty slow) i want to use it at similar speeds.
100% battery bug still there and security fc's
EDIT: if you are experiencing the security fc, you should flash the cm 13 radios from here;
http://builder.balika011.me/official...3.0-RADIOS.zip
so far i can tell, i like the rom but has some minor annoying issues like battery bug, i hope they solve that on future nightlies, but i like the rom anyway good job ^_^
Bro, when I use dual SIM card, the card2 will not working, china Union and china telecom was set up in the sim1 and sim2, respectively.
BTW, the auto sleep function can't be activated by auto sleep case.

Thanks for your work!
When I go to "settings" ---> press on "security"... I get a message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped".
Can't do anything about it. It's clean installed ROM with pico gapps. Build ver. 07-04.
Where can I report bugs?
Also there is no button to remove all tasks working in a background. Only one-by-one.
This is... Meh. :x

Data works on SM-T815 , but not on first boot. After you have setup your google account etc. take a reboot and it works then. A fix i will try tomorrow.

No!
No mic
Great looking ROM. But I use my tablet to make phone calls, so the mic not working ruins it for me.
Installed build 18.01.2017. When make a phone call, the sound is dead for 10..15 seconds, then it starts working. Receiving calls is fine.
Great rom. so far i have no problem at all on T810 but one. it seems that miracast doesn't work. Or is it just me?
Great ROM
Just tested the 18-01-17 build, almost stable.. But the tethering not work. Turned on but shows "Error" and other device cant find it.
Logcat :fingers-crossed:

Same here with the WiFi hotspot. Just shows "error" after setting it up and switching it on. No other WiFi devices can find the hotspot. Other than this, great ROM!
New Updates are out, Video Zoom hack included from Rayman
Boss, receiving calls is ok on newest aokp and not ringing not registering on rr. 1 more q: rgb screen mode from development settings is not working on both.. Not ready?

Hmm, I was gonna try this today and compare against your RR builds, but when I click the download link it says no files for the GTS210wifi. Any insights?
