Yes, you should flash SuperSU separately.

Hi,
I have got an error when install GApps- Open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-20170521.zip
"ERROR 64: Wrong architecture to set-up Open GApps pre-bundlet busybox"
Any clue what I have to do?
Regards, thanks for your work for this excellent tablet
Edit
I cannot go back too LineageOS14.1 either. I get an error
"Can't install this package over new build"
Please help me to make my tablet working again. please

Seems you select wrong architecture when download gapps.
Before flash LineageOS, first flash boot.img and then boot into TWRP from this kernel or simply wipe system partition.

I have TWRP 3.1.0-0 installed. I have followed tutorials https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...de-tutorial-sony-xperia-tablet-z-lte-t3392831
Pos. 8)-10).
and have tried to install GApps arm, 7.1
Why I cannot install back Lineage 14.1?
Btw
AOSP CAF (LA.UM.5.7.r1) is working correctly but I am missing GApps.
Edit
It is something wrong with TWRP 3.1.0-0. I have flashed TWRP 3.0.2 and it has been possible to flash this rom and GApps at once. This rom install TWRP 3.1.0-0 automatically and it is impossible to flash SuperSU afterwards
I am back on Lineage 14.1..

Thanks for the new build changelog?

Looks interesting. I'll wait for some testers first.
Thanks @pavankatari for this nice rom! It´s the first pie rom with working magisk for me.
Btw where can I find the settings for network status, battery icon and something else? And I´m missing advanced reboot button for recovery.

Edit: Found network status and battery icon under network and display settings. Is there a customation to add advanced reboot button at power button?

What a disappointment! After installing magisk it runs well for the very first time on a pie rom for me, but after a reboot the same issue: Magisk manager said magisk is not installed . I faced the same issue on other pie roms like havoc or pixys, tried different versions of magisk - no success. I´m really helpless about this...

Yes I did but this wasn´t the reason. It seems it depends to the kernel. The only working kernel with magisk is jaguar kernel 7.5.29. There are a lot of guys with the same issue, but curiously not all santoni users.
There´s an own thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-4x/help/magisk-doesnt-pie-roms-t3848025
Currently this issue is still open...
Magisc not installed this problem is by twrp problem
Few days i noticed this problem i found Magisc is not installed by twrp but different twrp installed than magisc installed succesfully...
Lets enjoy magisc with other twrp

[sGSI 9.0] AOSiP / Pixel Experience / AOSP //Personal Builds [S9/S9+/N9]

If you still want to run an SGSI (we have device specific roms now), I strongly recommend vanilla aosp. It is by far the smoothest and just simply works without issues. I will maintain AOSP for security patches until i'm using device specifics as a daily (still some bugs left). Go for my AEX or POSP now
What is this thread?
This thread is hosting my personal builds of sGSI's. As we don't have stable device specific Pie roms yet I believe this is still in high demand for you people that love AOSP roms and are patiently waiting for development. Until we have a stable device tree (which would translate into stable device specific roms) I will be mainting these builds. Aside from a few minor quirks these builds should work fine for daily usage.
What are the quirks?
For getting bluetooth to work you need a permissive kernel. You can use the magisk module provided in my mega library.
The statusbar padding is a bit off by default (fix is in my library as well)
AOSiP has longer boottime
What ROMS can I choose from?
For now my stable sGSI's are AOSiP, Pixel Experience and AOSP.
What vendor/firmware/kernel to use for what rom?
AOSiP:
S9/S9+ needs BRK3 vendor/firmware and endurance AOSP kernel
N9 needs ARH6 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
Pixel Experience:
S9/S9+ needs BRK3 vendor/firmware and endurance AOSP kernel
N9 needs ARH6 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
AOSP:
S9/S9+ needs BRK3 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
N9 needs ARH6 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
Flashing instructions
1. Wipe everything
2. Flash firmware
3. Flash vendor
4. Flash gsi to system
5. Reboot recovery
6. Flash gapps
7. Flash kernel
8. Reboot
Note: skip step 5 and 6 for roms with gapps included
If you have an issue flashing gapps because of insufficient space, do the following in TWRP. Advanced wipe -> System Partition -> Repair or Change File System and Repair and Resize

I build what I personally like, hence personal builds. And to be honest I don't like RR (overfeatured)
If there is high demand for one particular rom I might build it and drop one that is in low demand.
As I don't want to use up too much storage and time fixing build errors I want to stay with 3 ROMs maximum.

Its weird and I've had it before, just don't erase system before trying to flash, just do a factory reset, then flash the image over system, I had that error but using this works every time

Download gapps from this link: https://www.cyanogenmods.org/downloads/pico-opengapps-for-android-10-arm64/
Instructions to install gapps:
1-Flash rom zip and magisk (optional)
2-Boot the device once (yes don't flash gapps on first boot because of a bug with android setup)
3-After you boot the device once go back to the recovery. If you didn't flash magisk in last step your recovery will be overwriten by aosp recovery. If that happens just reflash twrp using fastboot.
4-Flash gapps
5-Boot the device now you will get error like "Android setup has stopped working". Just click more info and disable android setup from settings.
6-Login to your google account by running play store and follow the simple steps.
Android setup bug may get fixed in stable versions of gapps but for now install it like this.
I tried to follow the procedure updating my OmniRom 9.0 but the phone goes into bootloop.
i've also tried everything several times different species and versions, without gapps it works! (intigriter update button missing?)
Thanks a lotʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

What I meant by the Internet isn't the WiFi icon or LTE icon, it's the fact you can't connect to any website.

The recovery link in the OP points to Wingtech/Xiaomi Redmi 2's LineageOS download page. It should be replaced with this one.

Thanks! Will give a try tonight. Were you able to install NikGapps with the new build? I tried Basic and Core on the initial build and got a "installation failed due to lack of space".

Yes, will be when LineageOS 20 is officially out.
Appreciate the updates! I'm still not able to get any GApps to install. If someone else manages to, please let me know what package and method you used.
Thanks

That's interesting, I will have to check what's wrong with that. Thanks for reporting.
Opinion from the people using this - how does the PH-1 handle the ROM? Mainly asking from the perspective of the phone's hardware capability Vs Android 13.
The RIL stack on msm8998 devices may be too old to work well/properly on A13.
I'm not the right person to comment on the PH-1's A13 status (or that of other msm8998 devices), or on whether fixes are possible (or not)... these need a dev's reply.
