This is a unofficial Resurrection Remix Nougat V5.8.5 based on LineageOS.
This is a ROM that works on Samsumg Tab S variants only! This ROM comes with a highly-customized kernel, as well as some other very custom modifications.
I will NOT provide support if you install a custom kernel!
Introduction
Hello Friends!
I had troubles to find current builds for my devices so I decided to make regular builds for my devices. When my friends told me about similar problems, I extended the builds to include their devices as well. So these builds were and are mainly for my friends and me, but I finally decided to provide them also for public download.
Unofficial Resurrection Remix the ROM (LuisROMs) an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
My Buildserver
My buildserver automatically creates a new nightly build every second day from the current sources (RR, LineageOS, AOSP) and my personal repositories, even if nothing has changed in the changelog. The RR Updater informs you about new OTA updates. You can also download my nightlys via the RR OTA Updater.
Notice
Sometimes I get a lot of help or feature requests from users of my LuisROMs. My dog Luis and I try to fulfill most of the wishes, but that is not always possible. I do that as a little hobby and Luis does not always want to build ROMs . Please understand if I can not always answer directly.
ROM-Review from Koogly on YouTube:
Root & Magisk

Thanks a lot , RR still my favourite ROM downloaded as soon as I have seen it, I will install now :good:

@8224Freak , can't believe it. RR on tab s lives trough your hands. For this great news, thanks. Leave RR last week. One question about the gapps. Should i use the nano package or can i use the pico package as on RR from DarkExistence ?

I'm using RR on my phone and I really love it. It's good to see that you "resurrected" RR for T800 Do you plan get official with RR for Tab S?

Yes i am unsing it right now and no bugs and really smooth and stable :good:

I have no plan for a official RR Version. This builds are compiled for my private use from difference sources to run on this devices.

Working great, except (not really a bug) that the begging of the boot animation, the firt half of the boot animation approximately, is very slow and seems like in 5fps and then at the middle it suddenly going normal fast (faster and smoother ) and not due the the default boot animation, I flash others to try but still the same (I hope it was understandable)
Except this everything working (and no fp scanner like usual)

Hi!
The shlow bootanimation is not a bug. At the first boot must the kernel setup the system.
I will inegrate a ota update function in the future.
Thanks Frank

Hi, first i flashed the Rom with Pico then with Nano gapps, both times i became this on the screenshot. Then flashed the rom, first boot, choosed the Trebuchet launcher, flashed the Pico gapps package, rebooted and now I'm on the homescreen. More report will follow.

I use opengapps but you must boot clean wiped rom without opengapps befor install opengapps.

firstly thank you for your time and effort with this RR rom...glad to see it back....small issue...tried using 'flashify' and it requested root for which i attempted to grant it via magisk but it refused root...so thought ok will just flash superSU.....worng...totally put the device in a boot loop...so much so that i had to reflash stock TW through odin and then go throuigh all the process of re flashing everything again....is there an issue with superSU and this rom...has anyone else here had an issue with root...?

SuperSu should be running when Magisk is uninstall. Please use then the last version of SuperSU. I have test it with the last SuperSu Beta 2.79 SR3.

Just reporting:
Successfully flashed may 14th on Brazilian T805M, but only on the second attemp, using beansgapps mini.
Flashing opengapps resulted in errors while trying to do the first configuration steps.
So far, everything's fine. The ROM has all RR customization options the I'd expect plus it's quite smooth. Beautiful.
Please notice that I didn't try mobile network, I'm using it only with WIFI connection, so I can't say if it works.
Thank you very much for this ROM.

Seems easier with beans gapps now. Flash rom + beans gapps, reboot and no problems or FC
Just a little question, is there in the dev community plans to try to support the fingerprint scanner, as aosp is stable and there is no big issue to fix ATM?
Have a nice day everyone

Update
RR N. Great, my famous Rom. Made clean install yesterday from AICP and every thing work great.
I see today build is avalible. How to update? Just dirty flash zip file, or do i need flash Gapps too?

INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 14.1 to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from another ROM other than AOSP or CM based ROM:
Make sure you have unlocked your bootloader
Flash a custom recovery via Fastboot (any other installing methods will do, just make sure you have TWRP recovery installed)
Push GApps (arm64) and the CM 14.1 zip to your device
Boot into Recovery
Perform factory reset
Flash the CM 14.1 zip from SD card
Flash GApps for Nougat from SD card
Flash a custom kernel (I recommend Radon kernel if you have a Goodix device or camera sensors on your device are not working)
Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

First build is currently being built.

FAQ
ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
First of all do not flash any supersu/superuser/superman zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root acces > Apps Only
Are these gapps <insert random gapps package here> working with CM14.1?
Use the suggested package
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel.
Why no <insert miui feature here>?
Because this is CyanogenMod

also all CM13 roms (except santhosh) lack mic cancellation features, too much echo in many roms. At this point I'll only consider CM14.1 roms and i'll test how mic cancellation works @ them

Yes, goodix is supported but you would need to flash a custom kernel and the Goodix_N patch. I would implement the changes in CM's kernel source later on.

What are the bugs remaining now? Am following Jenkins page everyday to see a new build but I can't flash it without knowing what's working and what's not.... But am very curious to know about it! If anyone has tried Jenkins builds, pls do reply!

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LAOS team, if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Marshmallow. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it, and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!
Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device
Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
Flash ROM Zipfile
Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional)
Reboot to system
The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!
KERNEL:
Kernel in this ROM follows LAOS source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the buildin OTA app that needs TWRP recovery installed to work.
You can still use CWM/LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved in the "AICP_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

Just use open gapps 6.0 nano arm, you can add more from play store later. But this is p3110 based so make a backup & store on sdcard, bcuz not sure if it will work for p3100. Ril telephony stuff is included but tested. Let me know & I will run a 3g build tonight or tomorrow morning.

** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device(sd-card)
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Reboot into Recovery again
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).

The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

I hope what created is right topic =)
For dual sim - u should have the stock rom is 1'st installed, there both sim are working. Coz cRDr rom have no "sony modem switcher" & modem configs. Use the stock rom for switch & configure modem.
Before install gapps or twrp or something else(magisk for example) from twrp-zip u have to reboot in twrp again after install rom. It needs for A/B slot switching.
Great thanks LuK1337 for his hard working at LOS! :good:
Hey - tried to give this rom a go tonight, but the rom download link is dead.
Hey, I just got back into rooting phones again (after a few years back last time when I rooted my Sony Xperia Z2), can you or anyone give me an easy to follow instructions on how to install this custom rom or any other rom? (I'm still confused about A/B slots thingy, and also like does it reboot automatically after flashing zip file even though I know that you can go "back" to flash another zip file? or maybe I just wrong about this.)
I don't know, I'm afraid of getting risk bricking my phone without following instructions...
Any update? Is the development for this ROM abandoned?
hey, im having a problem, the phone boots normaly. except in the google setup screen where you select a language, when i select one it freezes on just a sec..
Will there be an update for this rom or is it abandonned? It looks pretty good for a 6 months old rom. Thanks!
Will be updated soon.
I smashed up display. New one will come from China about couple weeks. When i fix my XA2, then i can testing new builds and releases it.

Introduction
Hello Friends!
I had troubles to find current builds for my devices so I decided to make regular builds for my devices. So these builds were and are mainly for my friends and me, but I finally decided to provide them also for public download.
My unofficial Resurrection Remix (LuisROM) an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.

Great Work!
Nice Work, every thing works great
Security patch : 5 December
hi, I want to give this a try.
I come from a clean downgraded XA2 (h3113) from 9 to 8.1, so the bootloader is already unlocked and the phone is rooted with TWRP and Magisk installed. I did the downgrade with Emma tools.
My firmware version is 50.1.A.
Do I have to re-install the Pie 9 update first in order to flash this rom ?
Or can I just flash it and then reboot to recovery, flash the gapps and reboot to recovery and flash the latest firmware from here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78973496&postcount=2

Need Sony firmware ("at least bluetooth, dsp, modem from it") from Pie. As Luk said.
It would be better to update (install) the stock rom (Pie) first.
I have not tested this with Android 8.1-stock. I can not promise the right work and compatibility.

That's pretty normal I think. When I'm first using Android 10's based ROM, it showed up on my phone. After using a few weeks, it was gone. When I tap "App Info", it led me into a google playstore (if you have one) and it literally doesn't show anything.
Hi!
I really like you roms, they add to the XA2. But a question - is there a possibility that you could compile versions without recovery, or with TWRP, instead of the stock one? TWRP is just that much more functional, and now after the flash, i need to reflash the TWRP, and only then carry on with gapps, and the rest..
Just asking, no big deal I'm still VERY grateful for your work!
Rom installed, everything works but the wifi keep switching to my data even if there's connection and signal (with stock firmware there was no problem on this side), other than this: is there any plan to release some updates? On the crdroid site the rom is "unmaintained"
Updated sources and rebuild

Rom installed, everything works but the wifi keep switching to my data even if there's connection and signal (with stock firmware there was no problem on this side), other than this: is there any plan to release some updates? On the crdroid site the rom is "unmaintained"

My PC was broken and I could not compile new versions. Gabriel kicked me from maintainers. I've messaged him in telegram yet. New OTA-updates will be soon.

what gapps u installed?
how do u did it?
take a log from boot system for debug.
1)stable gapps here(micro or nano): https://sourceforge.net/projects/opengapps/files/arm64/
2)instal em before system booting! (it's important):
a)boot in twrp
b)install rom
c)reboot twrp again
d)install gapps
e)boot system, done.
