Since some time i have a new phone the htc one . When i got my phone it worked perfectly when i attached it to my computer , and also to my laptop. But recently it when i connect it to my computer it gives me this message:
USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED : one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned , and windows cannot recognize it. for assistance in solving this problem , click this message
I got everything on my phone settings and so on in right way. I allready got alot of android phones and i know everything about it , It doenst connect to my laptop ether same message . After contacting HTC Service , sending it to someone who can fix it has no use and i wil waste my money . At least that is what they told me. I reinstalled drivers , i updated my phone and i buyed new cable's to try them out, nothing works.
So my question is: Is there a way to fix this ? ore is this defenitly a hardware problem

Hmm have u recently installed Windows 8.1 on ur pc?
I faced similar kinda situation when I upgraded from windows 8 to Windows 8.1 preview

Have you tried it with enabled USB Debugging in Developer Options?
I got , windows 7 on both computers .
USB debuggin is enabled.
I want to bump my post because i really need to have a good usb connection for rooting and so on please anyone?

Mine has gone back to htc but I've had to leave the bootloader unlocked and s-off as cannot connect to pc . It's got stock recovery and Rom but bet warranty is void now .

I have never unlock, root, or flash rom before on any android phone I owned. However, I have been researching to do so with my Sprint HTC One and after reading articles and watching videos later I hit the first dump of unlocking the phone.
I am using HTC One Toolkit v3.1 and followed the procedure to try to unlock my phone. I installed HTC Driver and register on the HTC Dev. Then when I tried to "Get Token ID", ran the command and it shows the device is offline. I did turn the debug on the phone. I am not sure if there is anything else I need to do to let my computer to recognize the phone.
Phone: HTC One android 4.3 sense 5
Computer: Window 7 64 bit
Please someone shine some light for me if possible :laugh:
I am using HTC One International version (India). Did not root or anything (have really less knowledge about it). Got a recent update of sense 5.5 android 4.3 on my phone. Since then whenever i use USB to attach it to my laptop, it always shows USB Device not recognized. PC is a windows 7 64bit edition. The phone was perfectly fine till 4.2.2 sense 5. Now i cant transfer files using USB.
Please Help !

did you installed the latest drivers version recently released by HTC?
help wanting to install latest Android Revolution HD 40.3 pc does not recognize me in bootloader one and two days I tried everything changing drive doing everything possible to please anyone help me to do this rigrazio

Hi guys
I got a problem with my adb I can't find ma phone when I put it in usb too the laptop before it works but after I unlock bootloder useing htcdev and root ma phone I get this problem it's work only if I reboot ma phone for a few seconds than stop and I have problem with vibration its not working I check all the settings
But still not working
If anyone can help me I 'll be thankful
