Remove boot logo - Huawei P9 Plus Questions & Answers

Hey guys. Just got my unlock code from vodafone but does anyone know how to remove the boot animation so I can have a stock phone. Looking for a solution without root.
Tia

Me too but I have a mate 8 with ugly unicom dl00 splash and boot screen how to change it.

One Q:
How many times do u reboot a day?

I think they want to set it to the default boot logo so it looks like a unbranded phone due to it being unllocked

Aside from switching carriers, there is no way except rooting

Bootloop on first ever startup

Hello,
I ordered a brand new redmi 4x from gearbest. When I turned it on for the first time ever it got stuck at the boot animation. Even after 30 minutes nothing happened. I already went to the phone menu to wipe & reset everything, it didn't help though. Any idea what can I do without an unlocked bootloader? Before I send it back to china I want to try to fix it by myself.

I think the best solution is to take it to the service point because almost every single tweak needs an unlocked bootloader.

I'm no expert here so don't take my word for it, but I believe the boot logo is on your SIM card.
I say that because I bought an "unlocked" Note 8 from Amazon. When I first booted it up, it had the TMobile bootup logo. I thought I was going to have to return the phone because of it. But I went ahead and put my Verizon SIM card in and rebooted, and the TMobile bootup went away and now I have the Verizon logo on bootup. So that makes me think it is on the SIM and not in the ROM or the phone. I know that a new ROM can make the carrier boot logo disappear, but I am not sure how that works.
I am sure there are folks on here that can tell you exactly what you are asking that have much more knowledge than I!

It's not actually on the sim card the phone has all of them already listed in it. When you put a sim card in it just chooses the correct file to boot.

Ahh, those sneaky devils-I did not know that, thank you for the info!
You would have to install the stock Samsung OS onto your device. As the Cell Provider Logo is attached to the Cell Providers moddified version of the Samsung OS.

can we change warning + boot screens?

I am aware that Soldier has found a way to change the warning screen, does anyone have information on how to make a custom warning screen?
Also has anyone managed to change their boot animations?
For anyone interested in changing the warning screen, soldier says you need to edit the UP_PARAM.bin.

I found a tutorial here for the s8, I shall give it a shot when I can (few days time)
So I'm guessing your phone is an Exynos version and rooted.

You are correct,
Sorry I should have specified.
Please tell us then!
Soldier has posted a few options in his Telegram-channel with different screens you replace with flashing his zip of choice in TWRP. Works fine.

Samsung Ativ s NOT FOR RESALE problem

Hi,
I have a problem with Samsung ATIV S, if possible i would like to solve.
During the start-up phase, when the logo appears, you see the writing "Not For Resale" at the bottom left,
does anyone know if it can be solved?
Thanks in advance to everyone
It is boot loader unlocked?
Yes, It has unlocked, is it possible to solve?
Relock bootloader
I re-locked the bootloader but unfortunately the problem remains
Anyone has news about this problem? Thanks

That's an engineering model. Probably.
DO NOT REFLASH IT. You won't get that text back again for sure. Keep it safe - but I'm probably late.
Reflash with WDRT probably or thor2. I just noticed this is often.
EDIT 4: Or live as is, maybe.
EDIT 5: you have to live as is - you can reflash with the so-called "SMD downloader" but I never owned Windows phones other than Lumias, so won't be able to help much. If you wanna take a shot - you decide:
EDIT 6: if you brick - it was your idea.

Hi, thanks for the video guide, I already knew how to flash the phone I've done it many times the reflash but it doesn't solve anything. windows phones are no longer needed, they can only be used as a paperweight or as an alarm clock. Thanks, bye bye
