Just got my P10 today and I've found that gmail is not displaying a count of unread emails on its icon. I've gone through EMUI settings to a part where you can choose which apps display notifications, but gmail is not on the list. Is it a bug or a feature? Any way around it, other than using a different launcher?
If you install Notifyer (on Play store) you can add unread badges for Gmail and other apps. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.uk.cornwall_solutions.notifyer

Anyone else having this issue? I have turned off Notifications in the Facebook app and the toggle for Messages keeps getting turned on:

Do you have Facebook Messenger installed, and have you disabled its notifications?
I've installed Messages (downloaded from the play store) instead of the built-in Messaging application, because the latter one does not support searching. I don't want to see Messaging in the application icons any longer, but I can't disable it: the disable button is disabled (See the picture). Is there a way to hide/disable/remove it?

Solve. I removed it in System App Remover & rebooted the phone, it disappeared.

I tried to configure for 4 apps, contact, messages, whatsapp and gmail
But I can't see anything !!!
Therefore, I'm not sure if it works or if it is me who is not good.

How did you get into that menu? I don't think I've ever seen that on my phone? You using stock ROM?
Does anyone know how to turn off emoji suggestions/replies in WhatsApp notifications, (arrowed in the screenshot), I've been trying for hours and only found and switched off suggestions in chat and the options in gboard, but they're still there, I must be missing something

Incidentally it's only emojis showing up, no smart reply text.
Found it, had to turn off suggested actions and replies in the main notifications settings
I've had the X90PP for a while and never got floating notifications to pop up for WhatsApp. I've tried to find a solution many times but to no avail. No issues with other apps.
Do any of you get floating notifications for WhatsApp? Which OS and WhatsApp version are you on?
