Not getting Group Messages- sort of with a twist - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions & Answers

So Im having an issue getting group messages sent from my work. The way they send out group messages is by using your phone number's email address. So what i mean is they send out group text messages through outlook to your phone's email address which in my case is 609***[email protected] The strange thing is Im getting regular group messages from my contacts without any problems. Ive tested the outlook method and if I send myself a message it goes through fine. But, when I ad at least one other person to the message I wont get it. Is this some type of spam filter where I'm not getting the messages? Please help, I need to get these messages from work. Thanks.

Google Voice. Get an invite, setup a new number, and send text messages through "voice.google.com" with that new number.
just use an email address?? I send/recieve texts from the wifey all the time from exchange. although it would be awesome if there was a program to redirect all incoming texts to an email address so if someone were trying to get ahold of me, i'd know now and not 8 to 16 hours later. (prisons don't allow cell phones.)

I thought about posting this earlier.... there's a huge downfall to it: getting people to actually text that new number.

I could see the difficulty in that lol.
Although, what I did was go to "contacts.google.com" and create a group of all the people I text on a regular basis. Downloaded "Contacts GroupU" from the market, then re-sync'd my contacts. Opened up Contacts GroupU, long pressed the group name and selected "Send SMS." Finally, notified them of the new number.

Group chat cant be deleted or left. Why?

I'm recently bought the new Note8 and went to send out my new number via text messaging. I selected multiple contacts thinking it would just send a message individually to each recipient but it did not. It instead started a full on group chat.
I've deleted it. Still won't stop receiving messages.
I've selected to remove recipients and there's no option to confirm or apply and when I back out after deselecting people, they still remain in the group chat.
Can someone help with this issue?
I've searched everything. Even ran a dark web search that led me to absolutely nothing.

Android Message Group Text Problem

Seems like whenever someone sends me a group message, parties probably on an iPhone at least a couple of them I'll get individual failed messages but I will get the group message, any thoughts on how to take care of that?
