I'm aware, I made this for custom aosp/Laos based roms, I never intended for this to be used with eui

It's the same with the Chinese version LEX720.

I haven't try on Le Max 2 as it got SD820, if you can help that would be great, thanks again.

Is there a way to undo it? Thank you.

Gotcha, that worked. Thank you.

Does this change the icons as well? As is the back icon on left or is it just now the back icon is the square and recent is the triangle?

It does not change the icons, for that you'd have to change the hardware. I personally turn off the button backlight in the ROM settings so it doesn't bother me that it's the wrong icon

I flash it and works but I wanna go Back. Any way to do that without reflash my ROM?
I would like to configure Long Press and Double Press actions in my OmniRom

I finally had time to make a reset to stock zip so you don't have to reflash the ROM to go back

Can you make this work on Le 2/Le S3 (and max 2)? Didn't work on S3 for me. The buttons are killing me as my tablet uses the opposite layout.

Screenshot button on Temasek CM7 build

Hello!
I'm a temasek cm7 rom user. And I have a question - is there any option to make screenshot by pressing any hotkey, like stock rom?

Hi there. Yes, simply long-press the power button and you'll see "Screenshot" among the available options.

Thanks, I know about this option. But I don't like it. I need to make screenshots from dynamic games. Pressing power button causes game pause and I can't make any good screenshot. That's why I'm asking about hotkey, like menu+power in stock rom.
Download screenshot app by kastor soft. There is a "shake to capture".

the only way to do this is to get a screenshot app, like android ss from the market and allocate it with long press via cm settings...

[MOD] Search button remap + volume wake mods

Searched high and low for this, didn't find anything, so I went on and did it.
Attached are flashable .zips to give the Search button the default pre-JB behaviour, allowing for in-app search and/or activate wake with volume rocker. One with both mods, one with vol. wake only + undo .zip.
Works with stock deodexed JB ROM.
Credit goes to Articudos. I have decompiled android.policy.jar, modded it for volume wake, then created the .zips modifying his (his thread is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788719 if you want the JB key layout fix only).
Tested on my device and it works. Nevertheless, flash at your own risk.
Enjoy!

[Q] Working home button in CM9?

Hello.
I was wondering if the physical home button on the TouchPad is working with Android CM9? Is there anyway to make it work?

I guess stock rom don't have the same options as a custom rom then sorry [emoji20]
The only other option you have is to try a custom rom
Um if you use greenify you can switch the Google now long press of the home button to hibernate sleep the device
With screen of and lock installed, do the search gesture from the home button up -> select screen off an lock -> works

Nav button backlight option?

How do you keep the nav buttons lit up? Who would design a device with buttons that vanish???
By nav buttons I mean the back, home, and square button on the bottom of the phone. When you touch the screen they light up for a sec, then they just turn off. Super annoying when you are say reading a page on Chrome, want to go back, and the back button is just gone.

yea, there is no OTA, you'd have to upgrade manually.
Head over to the ROMs sub forum, and you'll find plenty of guides and tutorials.

I'm not sure about the hardware differences between my x520 and yours, if there are any.
But better asking in that rom post.
