Every 30 minutes or so, it keeps telling me I have reached my goal, even while sleeping. Ugh! How can I get rid of this crappy software from my watch? Please!!

I've got a problem :(

So my G1 had no signal for like 20 minutes (at my house, where it always has signal) and I rebooted the phone. When it rebooted, the signal icon had an X over it and on the left of the notification bar there was an icon that said (when notif bar was pulled down) "Loading Data.. Please wait" so i waited like 15 minutes and nothing..
Then i flashed to the latest Cyanogen and it worked but now I'm at the "Welcome to T-Mobile G1" with no signal . So idk what the problem is..
Anyone know what the problem is, or can help me?
Thanks!

Happened to me!! I woke up one morning and my G1 could not and would not receive service... I freaked out thinking it was a side effect of CYAN but it turns out, I just need a new sim card.

[Q] Possible nuked phone?

So my Galaxy S seems to have **** the bed 7 days to the minute.
Working all fine today, restarted the phone as it seemed a little slower than usual.
Upon restart doesn't go any further than the animated splash screen, problem is my phone is one that doesn't have the 3 button combo. Awesome.
Only things I have done to it is the one click root and one click lag fix, no other flashing.
I've tried taking the battery out for about 10 minutes, starting with no sim, with sim, with charger, withough charger all to the same effect.
Am I SOL and have to send this back or are there any other tricks to try?
I think I'll be sticking with vanilla if I can get it replaced.
E: I should say, after about 10 minutes from sitting at the samsung splash screen, the screen turns off and the two touch sensative buttons light up and don't turn off.
Do you have an external memory card installed? If so remove that and try again.
Hey.
Sorry for your phone dying. I am able to get my phone into recovery and download mode by letting it charge up. The goal is to make it warm to touch. This is the only way I can get it going. I've also used a hairdryer with success. Might as well try everything right?
you can still take it back to the store and claim warranty on it

Yeah I called my carrier last night. It's only 7 days old, as I upgraded online they are sending out a satchel for me to send it back in.
Back to the old iPhone 3G for the time being. Such a step back.

[Q] Can't connect to internet, sync, etc. What's going on?

This is REALLY frustrating. I've been completely in love with my new Captivate for the past two weeks. It's worked extremely well, and been very stable. Not one problem at all, until now.
Just this evening, it decided to disconnect itself from the AT&T server (the popular 'connection failed' message. It has full bars, and can still make calls just fine. But it won't connect to the internet, sync my accounts, etc. It will also not connect over wifi, which I thought would work fine. I was wrong. It also isn't being recognized by my computer, no matter which mode I select. Even debugging mode isn't registering. I've rebooted the phone half a dozen times. Nothing. I've checked all network settings. Everything looks good. I've tried booting into the secret flash menu mode and resetting from that menu. Nothing.
Anyone else had this issue? What can I do to get this fixed? I need my phone back online for work asap.
If you are inside you 30 day window, return it and try another one. Sounds like a haardware failure, if you haven't been messing with flashing roms.
OMG I am having the EXACT same issue. My started this past Saturday. It will not for the life of me connect to the network. Its so frustrating...of course ATT has no solution to the problem exact sending me a warranty exchange....which I would rather not do, because it takes days to get the phone set up! ugggh~!!!!! if someone has any input in regards to a possible solution I would be forever grateful

I am by no means an expert, as I have only been a cappy owner for all of 3 days, but I have been doing a lot of reading and have been customizing my phones since the beginning of time, what exactly is taking days to set up? surely someone here knows a way to speed up that process for you.

I'm referring to getting it "setup" to my preferences..you know downloading apps, getting the widgets placed just so etc. Its all time consuming (for me at least).
I talked to a ATT rep who is "an android specialist" and she did a factory reset....which still sucks b/c I still have to redo everything on my phone.
Maybe it will help, fingers crossed. ..

[Q] Can I keep apps running while docking/undocking?

When I put the phone into a dock, or remove it from it, whatever app I'm running tends to either stop, or more commonly lose focus. Is there a way I can stop this from happening? I watch a lot of podcasts and other videos, and sometimes I take the phone out of the dock to go to the kitchen or whenever, and it annoys me when I have to spend 10 seconds trying to find my place again!

Is there another app/message that pops-up when you un-dock the phone?
If so, try to get rid of those, then there shouldn't be a problem.
No, it just sort of forgets about everything.

That's weird, I just did a test with WhatsApp and the only message I got was the flaps warning. After I pressed ok I was still in WhatsApp.
With video?
Picking this up again. REALLY annoying. Podcasts not only stop, but some times the app (PocketCasts) gets confused and thinks the podcast has finished, deletes it and starts another.

Text messaging problem

Hey guys, so today I decided to backup my texts and once I did that I started to delete messages from my phone (as I normally do without any problems). I know it can take literally forever for just one convo to delete especially if you have over TONS of messages, so i waited and waited for the 'deleting messages' box to disappear.
I left my phone doing it's thing whilst ocassiaonlly using the phone at the same time, obviously I didn't do anything in texts, but when I went back on messaging I noticed it was gone, so I tapped on messaging again only to find the 'opening conversation' to appear and its been stuck like that for ages, therefore I cannot access any of my texts yet..
Any advice on what to do? Is it really still opening conversations? (it's been about 15mins probably!) and I have no idea if it deleted one of my convo's fully.. Is it safe to turn the phone off & then back on perhaps? I don't want to risk losing anything...
Hope it all makes sense. Thanks!
EDIT: nevermind sorry, it literally just stopped with the opening conversation message and back up. My convo I tried to delete is still there though, so will try again and not touch anything this time! Sorry, please remove this thread if you wish!

Appreciate the response, but I thought I would ask to see if other people had the same experience and therefore can share the right way forward?

Oh my days, it's now probably been about 2 hours since I started deleting and its STILL doing it - is it supposed to take THIS long?
I had my phone showing messages from another conversation/recipient a few days ago. In this case, all alerts from my train operator about delays were showing as being sent from my wife.
Killing the task and reloading messaging seemed to fix it, but it now has me worried that such problems might one day see me getting corruption errors, although I don't really have any texts I couldn't afford to lose.
