These are the most recent "stock" ROMs we have available.

V8.4 is prime ROM with ads already removed
V21 is the non-prime that comes from Blu already without ads.

What are the steps to flashing back the stock rom and unrooting the phone?
I've unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp, and obtained a system-less root. I would like to get the phone back to as close as possible as it originally was.

To what end? I mean I have put an unmodified non prime version ROM up. It is as close to original as you can easily get. And when you install a new ROM after a systemless root, root is undone by default. Because systemless root is in the boot.img, which is replaced when you put new ROM. And also if it was system type root, the new ROM replaces system, so it would also remove root.
You can use twrp to install v21, a stock ROM, then do not install SuperSU. That's all there is to it.
If you then want to put stock recovery on too. Simply reboot to system after installing v21 and the factory recovery-from-boot.p should take over and put stock recovery on. (This was actually a problem for a couple of people, but it is what you want so , there you go)
But I need to ask , what do you hope to achieve by doing that?

Quick question I have the 2017 Blu R1 HD R3003UU-01 Amazon phone with ads. Just about 2 days ago my phone randomly rebooted it went to the Blu bold like us screen then to the colorful bold like us screen then it stops and just stays like that never changes till I power it off. What are my options, I have never rooted this phone never downloaded anything to mess with any updates or firmware why would this happen?

OTA with a rooted device?

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I started thinking to root my Moto G 2 but I still want to run on stock kernel & ROM. We are still waiting for the update to Android 5.1 and I was wondering if I could get the OTA safely with a rooted device. If not, I would wait for the official update and after this I'm going to root it; otherwise I would root it now. Thanks in advance.
I think you should wait for the OTA update and root after the update.
You won't receive any OTA updates from Motorola if you have flashed custom recovery and rooted your device
Copy that, thank you guys.

If I understood it right, @luke! wants to run stock rom after rooting. So there is absolutely no problem to boot into TWRP 2.8.5.0, make a nandroid backup and flash latest superSU from there. OTA just cares about custom recovery and changes in system. So when an OTA arrives just restore your nandroid backup or revert the changes you made like unfreezing systemapps, uninstalling things like adaway and there will be no problem to install OTA.
Even if you flash twrp instead of booting into it,you can easily flash back the custom recovery. As long you stay stock this is all an easy thing. And also after flashing a custom rom there are ways to get back to the original firmware. @luke!:If you need any help pm me.

[Q] is there a factory restore (not reset) available?

I'd like to do a clean re-install of the OS before moving everything over to the phone ... but I don't see any downloads for the 3T on the OP downloads page?

Dare I ask what went wrong?
I was going to unlock the bootloader (since it would require a full wipe if I waited and did it later), but otherwise stop there (I don't think changing recovery or rooting result in any need to wipe)
There is a full OTA zip in the 2nd post of the TWRP thread. This may solved your problem. But I do suggest you read the whole thread, as there maybe info that regard to your bootloader issue. I noticed that some of the OP3T came with OOS 3.5.1, which have issue w/ custom recovery. So you have to upgrade to 3.5.3.
PS: there is this full backup available also.

After mucking around with TWRP/Root, I decided I wanted to try the plain vanilla SafetyNet-compliant OxygenOS experience. In TWRP, I flashed the 3.5.3 OTA from here. I rebooted my phone into Fastboot and relocked the bootloader, then rebooted back into OxygenOS. I think relocking the bootloader and flashing the OTA are interchangeable.
Also, from what I recall, if you want to flash the file through the stock recovery, have the file downloaded to the root of your internal storage partition and name it ota.zip. Either download it while in the OS, or use Fastboot mode and use adb push to upload it from your computer to your phone through USB. Reboot into Recovery and there should be an option to update.

System Update with Bootloader unlocked via Sunshine

Hello out there I looked for a thread on this subject and I didn't see one so I apologize to the mods if this has been covered.. Anyways today I received a notification for a System update on my Turbo. I haven't tried to install it yet. Right now my bootloader is unlocked via the Sunshine apk I have TWRP installled as my custom recovery and I have root. Basically I'm running stock but rooted. What is the upgrade procedure. I'm pretty sure the update will fail with twrp installed. Is there a set procedure everyone is using... Thanks in advance

Backup apps via titanium backup, and save off the phone. Backup all personal files, pics etc, off the phone. Flash a stock ROM in TWRP, wipe dalvik & cache. Then flash stock '49' recovery using ADB. Power up normally & take update. It should execute flawlessly. You could also flash the stock firmware for marshmallow via RSDlite, but that will wipe your data off the phone. Bootloader will still remain unlocked so you can Flash TWRP back on afterwards. Root can only be restored by flashing a particular beta version in TWRP. Better details and download links in the XDA forum thread for droid turbo.
USE THE TWRP-FLASHABLE VERSION OF UPDATE

Congratulations on having an unlocked bootloader! No need to do all that above, unless you really want. There's also a TWRP-flashable version on that update already posted in this forum. Just flash it in TWRP. It's the full update, minus stock recovery so you can keep TWRP and also flash it in TWRP!
@TheSt33v, who wrote the guide in this forum about unlocking the Droid Turbo bootloader is who posted it, so you can trust it.

Updatet my rooted OOS over the Air, now I haven't TWRP and SuperSu

Hi There,
I've the Problem that I havent't TWRP-Recovery and SuperSu after Updating to OOS 4.1.1 and Android 7.1.1.
Do someone know if i had to flash TWRP with qiping all Data? Or is there a Way to Flash TWRP and SuperSu without wiping? =(
Sorry I'm new to Android and started with the oneplus 3t. So i didn't know that i hadn't to update the Phone.
Or is the best opinion for me to choose a custom rom? But there are so much, i don't know what to choose.
Thanks for help! =)
Neither TWRP nor SuperSU will wipe anything.
It's totally up to you whether you need a custom ROM or not. If you want features like switching tracks just with your volume keys, you'll totally need a custom ROM since stock ones don't provide this feature. But this is just one example of many.
Regards.

Hm okay, cause when I got my one plus I flashed trwp and had to wipe everything, cause of the encryption or something like that.
I'll try my best today evening, hopefully nothing will go wrong :-O
What do I need to center the clock?
I'll flash trwp and supersu and anything to center the clock today evening.
Don't know if I need a custom rom, are there reason for a custom rom?
Thank you so much!

If you need help with anything, just ask.
I never had to wipe anything. I just wipe the phone when I want to remove the encryption.
EDIT: regular security patches is one big reason for me to install a custom ROM.
Thanks, I'll ask my questions
But why did the update delete trwp and supersu?
I was happy with OOS but missed the future of centering the clock.
May I ask which custom rom you use?
Updates remove SuperSU because they essentially flash over all non-user partitions (everything except /data, where your files, settings and user apps are stored). To root the OS, SuperSU installs its files in the /boot partition, which gets overwritten during ROM flashes. Root gets deleted any time you flash any mod (including most custom ROMs, since they also replace /boot). The only exception to this is if you flash a custom ROM that comes pre-rooted.
TWRP does not get deleted immediately during flashing, but rather when you first boot up afterwards. OOS will attempt to replace any custom recovery with the stock recovery when it first boots up after updating. You can get around this by either flashing TWRP again, or rooting immediately after flashing a ROM update, before you reboot (flash ROM, wipe cache/delvik, flash root, reboot). Most custom ROMs will not replace your custom recovery.
There's a few threads containing OPSystemUI.apk mods in the Themes, Apps and Mod section, though most of them also contain a bunch of other graphical modifications. If you only want to center your clock and nothing else, it can be achieved by modding OPSystemUI.apk yourself, though there is a bit of a learning curve to it.

You are mixing things up a bit but don't worry, I'll explain.
You need to unlock the bootloader first, and that always wipes your data for security reasons. So if your phone is stolen, the thief won't be able to access your data by installing TWRP or a custom rom. After unlocking you install TWRP (custom recovery), and use it to flash stuff. (roms, mods, etc)
After that you only lose data if you (or a rom) mess things up, and your data becomes unaccessible, or you relock your bootloader for whatever reason. That's why you should always backup to a computer before doing major flashing/upgrades, etc.
If you upgrade the rom you'll lose root and/or TWRP, but you can flash it again as explained by others.
Hi there,
so I've flashed TWRP and SuperSu again. You are all right, i haven't to wipe anything. I really mixed up things. But now everything is working for me.
Okay, i have to learn how to get my OPSystemUI.apk modify it and flash it back?
I will seach the threads and learn.

Oreo stock recovery after switch to TWRP?

Hi guys. I got this device today and am very happy with it.
I'm used to rooting my devices, so I want to root this one too and was hoping you could help me a bit.
I have the Oreo update installed and I see there are some TWRP that work with oreo. What is the best one to use with stock rom? I only want to root so I can install adaway and lucky patcher. Also, if an update comes later this year, like android P or something, can I switch back to the stock recovery, install it and then switch to TWRP again?
So, basically, where can I download stock recovery for Oreo, what TWRP should I use?
Thank you very much

I am pretty sure you need TWRP. Here is a good guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-plus/development/magisk-p10-p10plus-t3752482
I do not know how to update with root. I am afraid it involves reinstalling the original recovery and a factory reset.
Unlocking the bootloader is currently a bit of a hassle since the unlock webpage is down. You'll have to contact Huawei Customer Service to get the code.
