Hi, thanks for the rom. What gapps package should I choose? Upd: Flashed with twrp 3.1.1.0, with the nano gapps pack - wouldn't launch OS, stuck at the loading animation. Without flashing the Gapps the OS loads fine. With the pico pack launches fine, maybe because I also downloaded the md5 checksum file?

Maybe nano did not fit to system partition or zip was corrupted. I would recommend MicroG as an opensource lightweight google play services alternative for all older phones. At first it may appear to be a bit tricky to setup everything (all instructions in project website and github) but once it's done, system will feel much snappier compared to google play services.

I have few questions, if I may. 1. Can the recovery type(stock, twrp, cwm) impact performance? 2. Where's ram info? Long press on home button reveals only the recent apps.
---------- Post added at 01:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:49 PM ----------
In developer options I see the minimum and maximum cpu clocks are 999mhz. Is it this way in stock rom as well? Wouldn't it drain battery fast?
---------- Post added at 01:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:15 PM ----------
There is also an issue with simcard contacts and sms. I can't access them. I you know how please tell me.
---------- Post added at 01:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:18 PM ----------
Youtube videos unwatchable. I guess I go back to stock rom. This phone is hopeless)

1. No it cant impact performance, also you can't use stock to flash custom roms.
2. You can simply use terminal emulator to check it (with "free" or "htop" command) also there is a lot of 3rd party sysinfo apps.
Ram info with long press home in not in LineageOS (CM) feature list, and you do not need to worry about ram usage, android uses smart algorithms to manage that.
3. With lower frequencies system feels not as smooth. While screen off frequency should not be 999MHz, so there should be no huge battery impact. But if you want you can check and report battery on different frequencies.
4. There should be a setting in contact app to view contacts on sim card. If it does not work for you, try using stock rom to sync all sim contacts to google account or just export them to file and then import it from contact app.

Currently using this Rom and gotta admit it you've done real nice job here
NO BUGS so far if anyone is wondering, real smooth...
BIG THUMBS UP THE WORK MATE

Thanks for this ROM! ABout the SIM Issue (Cant Read Contacts fom SIM Card), I got same Issue in the Past Time for my Samsung Note 4. Now it was Fixed by the Dev @_mone ! Take a Look into his Commits, if You can Use them for the GT-S7390. Here: https://github.com/underscoremone/android_device_samsung_trlte-common/commit/a6e075e490efe605898bdb582312b3df1cd168a3
Hope this will Help to Fix the SIM Issue

Kernel update
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this so excuse me if I missed something ^^
I installed this ROM with pico GAPPS and this is just AWSOME !!
A new life for my old S7390G
I can't find a way to OC it, to increase a little his speed. I saw some post about Kernel 3.5.7 but it seemed to fit only for S7392, even if some say it's OK for S7390.
When I tried to install it through TWRP 3.1.1-0 I have the following message :
This package is for device : kyleve , S7392
hawaii; this device is kylevess
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
Any idea ?
Thanks
---------------------------------------------------------------
In fact I found this here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/kernel-t3313105/page3
I flash the phoenix kernel with wifi module and it's good.
But don't know if phoenix is better than 3.5.7 OC ...

to flash in S7392 just open the .zip file and edit(with any unix text editor) the file
updater-script in META-INF\com\google\android\
change the first lines to this:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "kyleve" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "kyleve" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "S7392" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "S7392" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "GT-S7392" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "GT-S7392" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "hawaii" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "hawaii" ||
abort("This package is for device: kyleve,S7392,GT-S7392,hawaii; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + ".");
The Rom will flash now :victory:
but i have a problem with video players they all show video greenish
is that problem on S7390??
if not i can try to fix :fingers-crossed:

Thanx for your answer but it does not work : my device is an s7390.
I have the same vidéo problem : greenish & laggy
Phoenix is a little faster ans appear stable. I think I'll not go further for now.

THIS FIX might help you guys with the video bug... I tested it on all other cm11 and it worked unfortunatly the resolution limit is only 360p so if you exceed that then you should use software rendering instead of hardware.
credit to @Mm7

trying to fix greenish video :fingers-crossed: ,but i didnt know what was changed on the tree to have omx working like your rom

I'll try this as soon as possible !

I finaly found the problem with OMX encoders/decoders :victory:
after a try messing and logging with this HardLight Build
i put the stock /system/etc/media_codecs.xml in the rom
the codecs stops to working but are a call beeing made on /dev/h264_ol getting no permissions :silly:
analising ueventd.hawaii_ss_kylevess.rc theres no permissions related and i just put the line
/dev/h264_ol 0660 media media
build image and flash
thats it OMX is working like on stock rom :highfive:
made a flashable zip and here are the link:
edit: i made a litle mistake kkkk put only S7392 ZIP
for GT-S7392: https://mega.nz/#!LxZAmATb!NDast2UHJ8F6ZO1REZaq9DicjtdlPJYADBrnLaJYrP0
For GT-S7390: https://mega.nz/#!Ko5VhbCT!I4xpU-cu_eGhSjkN2jFV85GSNm-6_BpcgpGxh6HRtpw
now we have cm-11.0(aka lineageos 11 now) fully working
still don't found HardLight s7390 kylevess device tree on github
waiting a new build with the fixes :fingers-crossed:
edit: video playback not working in some browsers here a a list
Not working on browser in rom,CM Browser,UC mini,Opera Mini
Working on Firefox,Uc Browser,Google Chrome and Opera
i will enjoy to start cm-12.1 (aka lineageos 12.1 now) development

i recomend you to flash kylevess most recent twrp
https://dl.twrp.me/kylevess/
if still not working
open flashable zip as i said before and remove these lines
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "kylevess" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "kylevess" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "S7390" ||

getprop("ro.build.product") == "hawaii" ||
abort("This package is for device: kylevess,S7390,GT-S7390,hawaii; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + ".");
if don't flash now you are on a crusade
do not do this for other devices roms, this is possible only with GT-S7390 and GT-S7392 because of the same hw
i'm not responsible for hard bricks if you try kkkkkkk

Hi EduardoClasheiro !
Thanx for your work, Video I tried thus far work fine
But I did not have access to WiFi anymore ...
As I mentioned before, I'm using phoenix kernel with wifi module.
I tried to reflash the wifi module but it didn't work.
I'll try a new install but not sure about the order of flash.
rony raj wrote this for his patch :
flash pac rom or any rom cm11 based
flash modules in attachment/download
flash pheonix kernel done
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I'll try to flash your video module just after the ROM.
Or I'll just let go phoenix kernel

to use the fix with other kernel you need to unpack boot.img from flashable zip unpack boot.img itself and unpack ramdisk edit ueventd.hawaii_ss_kylevess.rc in ramdisk and add the line
/dev/h264_ol 0660 media media
repack everything backwards and flash
i coud do the work for you,leave the link of the kernel them i reply the flashable zip :good:

last build rocks (lineage-11.0.1-20170725-kylevess.zip)
don't know what HardLight did but it's Blazing fast,smooth and stable :laugh:
the rom has only minor bugs
1. needs a good browser to play videos online like chrome,firefox,uc browser,opera. (mini browsers bug's playing)
2. youtube has 360p max resolution
i will keep this rom in my device.

Congratulations on your good work.
I note (no pun intended) that although the header states the ROM is for the N80XX intimating that it will be OK on the N8010, on the Downloads it only has the N8000 & N8013 annotated, does this mean it is not for use on the N8010 or if it is which is the appropriate zip??

Actually, I don't have the N8000 or N8010 model. My device is the N8013.
Please correct me if it is wrong, but I think that N8000 and N8010 are compatibles.
Like I said, just make a nandroid backup before flash and let us know if it is true.
Thank you!

We have a function called "assert" into install package.zip.
If you unzip your downloaded package you'll see it in: /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "c0" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "c0" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "p4noterf" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "p4noterf" ||

getprop("ro.product.device") == "GT-N8000" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "GT-N8000");
If you remove this function then the recovery will install the package.:good:

N8010 - using N8000 modified zip
Well sad to say I have attempted to install the ROM several times with the deletion of the "insert" and to no avail. The ROM is detected in recovery and starts to load immediately followed by it being aborted. :crying:
Is it perhaps that I should be using the N8013 zip as I have never been clear which models are similar. Isn't the N8000 3G?

N8010 and N8013 are Wi-Fi only devices.
N8000 have GSM support.
I was wrong.
So, N8010 and N8013 should be compatibles.
##Edited
I can confirm that: N8010 and N8013 are compatibles models.
N8010 is an european version and N8013 is an american version. But both are Wi-Fi only devices.
I am making a new N8010 device repo properly and will build new one soon!

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
1 - Make sure you run latest TWRP
2 - Download the desired ROM
3 - Download GAPPS of your preference
4 - Place in the card
5 - Reboot to recovery
6 - Make backup of Nandroid
7 - Wipe Data/Factory Reset
8 - Install the ROM
9 - Install GAPPS
10 - Reboot
11 - Enjoy !

only LineageOS 11 is stable somewhat, other releases are still buggy and slow
Yes.. But In CM12.1 now shows Kernel Version as
3.4.0-LineageOS
[email protected] #2
Is that kernel left from Lineage 14.1
how to change it ? (tried too many times flashing another versions of the same kernel )

Wait wait, cm-12.1 is deprecated, do not talk about it here, right?
I only will, when possible, do build of lineage 11, 13 and 14.1.
Ps1: Only KitKat and old ROMs supports flashing gapps after first boot, in Lollipop and newers you need to flash ROM then gapps.
Ps2: Lineage14.1 is not ready, I'm doing many crazy changes to camera.
Ps3: I rebased Lineage11 kernel and it is now at kernel version 3.4.113.
Ps4: cm-12.1 = windows vista, no one should use.
Ps5: cm-13.0 kernel will be rebased in top of an updated kernel version 3.4.113.
Ps6: cm-11.0 and cm-13.0 need some cherry-picks of cm-14.1.
Ps7: I backported camera driver of new current cm-11.0 kernel to KK (reverted new changes), reported many minor bugs in DualBootPatcher, waited, tested on stock, tried to fix camera on cm-11.0 (without sucess) and now my data is probably corrupted.
Ps8: I want to smash this device :highfive:
Ps9: If someone really want to help me with builds, contact me on PM/e-mail or send a message in Telegram.
Ps10: See my Contribution Activity on Github, if you don't trust on me
That's all, now is time to sleep,

That's an over-exaggeration, CM12.1 is actually much more stable/faster than CM13.0 or 14.1, don't know about CM11, but CM12.1 is definitely comparable to at least the stock ROM's performance. (that is, of course, if you're talking stability, if you're talking code and support, yes)

CM13 was released shortly after, so many devices was shipped with CM13 and not with CM12.1, that's where the Vista syndrome comes, no one uses it because CM13 is way better

LineageOS 14.1 is very slow in the setup wizard.
I had to go back to the previous version because it always crashed and I could not get out of the setup wizard.

No, because it isn't the fault in the app, but rather in the hacky-wacky framework camera which refuses to work with custom ROM other than the Stock and crappy KK/JB ROM
The clock on lock screen have cutted off date. Is there fix for this?

Camera
Fingerprint
---------- Post added at 04:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:46 PM ----------
My camera is not working on any rom , i have changed camera as well , anyone has solution to this problem?
So i used the rom for a whole one day, and here are some issues i faced:
1. Camera sometimes can't be opened.(dev has mentioned it too)
Sol: You need to clear camera cache to open it
2. Time and date gets reset on every restart
Sol: automatic time update if wifi or data is on
3. Gyroscope not working
Sol: Flash this zip (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533103863141329)
Hope it will be fixed in future builds.
Sorry for my bad english

All roms for kenzo work on kate as weel, uness they update the firmware (very rare, just the MIUI based ones do that).
Just unzip the rom archive, navigate to file META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script, open it with text editor and in the second row either comment it or change as follows:
before: getprop("ro.product.device") == "kenzo" || abort("E3004: This package is for "kenzo" devices; this is a "" + getprop("ro.product.device") + "".");
after: getprop("ro.product.device") == "kate" || abort("E3004: This package is for "kenzo" devices; this is a "" + getprop("ro.product.device") + "".");
Then zip again the whole rom folder and flash it as usual.

Sorry, I didn't had the knowledge about that.
Thanks for the information.
I have found these issues:
1. The battery stats are not resetting after charging above 90%, SoT count still goes up.
(Aftering clicking on delete, I have to restart for SoT to reset.)
2. When going to recovery from 'Advanced' in Restart from power button menu, there's just the wheel(loading) animation and no text.
3. When clock is on right side, restart you will find the statusbar clock overlapping the network bar and battery icons.
Okay, this rom perfectly awesome.
Both battery and performance so good, even my phone not very heat while play use this ROM.
i just found bug, mobile data so slow.. its show 4G but , NO. Its GSM.
Suggest: Put Screenshot button in status bar
New update v2.0 is released.
I don’t like you Project-Pearl, nothing personal kid. Subscribe to T-Series. ?
I really like this rom! I don't think there's anything like it since slimroms has gone away. Many thanks!
However, it looks like the UI reboots (soft reboot) pretty often for me, maybe once every hour if I don't use the phone. I don't think this happens if the phone is connected to a charger or usb and never when screen is on. This may be caused by something i installed or maybe it's because my device is "kate"? I have rooted and installed vulmax 10 & UV apps, they work fine. No gapps/microg installed.
Also, viscerion (wireguard) doesn't work so well. Even when the tunnel is enabled and working, there's a notification for "disconnected from always-on VPN" and the connection is not brought up on reboot, I have to do it manually (there's an option for this in Viscerion.).
Logcat.
13.35 is when i woke up the phone and had to input my password after a restart.
Dear developers, is this project discontinued?

Can anyone help get pass this cos can't install apk's from SD card.
I'll probably update to (RR v8.5.8) 5 hours from now.
Another thing I was wondering is that, does this RR 10 support Dolby Atmos flashed via zip? The one below
[Q-10][Dolby_Digital_Plus]v.7.3-[MMT-Ex]-20200519.zip
& do you recommended a clean or dirty flash update of the rom?
---------- Post added at 07:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:52 PM ----------
Found other problems.....
DATA partition is not mounted & can't be toggled on twrp resulting in Magisk or SuperSu not being flashable, all ending in FAILED process.
I've switched from Redwolf Twrp to original Twrp, but still the problem persists

you need to change the Twrp use (this batik recovery (rolex) from Sourceforge) and clean flash again the rom your problem will get resolved. and as per Dolby Atmos concerned you can use viper4android fx magisk module its far better than dolby if you can tweak it easily

thanks alot but i m wondering which kernel it is using and how its battery backup??
Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to the LineageOS team, Omni team, SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.
Want to try this awesomeness?
Code:
[B]
-Download the ROM and GApps of your choice
-Backup every partition from TWRP Recovery
-Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)
-Flash ROM package
-Install GAPPS package
-Install Magisk for root acces
-And at last Reboot!
[First boot will take a few minutes! Have patience]
Clean Flash is always recommended!

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Dogbin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

1 .'No apps for installing apks 'is a general thing, Install the apk via an file explorer ,
2. Not tried will do and say
3 .i always recommend clean flash.
4. I recommend TWRP unofficial 3.4 or shrp or orange fox latest. if u get encryption related issues use SHRP . i had it on Orange Fox
Thanks a ton for bringing RR 10 to this device:good:
It would be awesome if the kernel gets upstreamed to 4.9.232 like it is in Havoc 3.8 for Redmi 4A:angel:
Keep up the good work.
4.9 not yet for rolex

Apkpure is safest if you dont want to comprehend gapps..
or you can use FDROID alternately to gapps

Sorry for Late Reply The apk is uploaded in RR download server with (OmniStyle.apk.) . I just compiled the apk separately to decrease the size of ROM.
And many people dont always need those headers
Showing zip file is corrupt...why??
