Calendar - Google Home

Can google home read out events from all calendars or is it still just the main calendar. I always found this odd as Alexa can read out events from all my calendars.

Only the main calendar of the person currently speaking. No "sub" calendars.

Can't switch calendar events to different calendars.

I have two calendars on my phone, one is the google calendar and the other is called 'exchange' that I imported and kept saving events under.
First issue I had was that the 'exchange' calendar wasn't updating on my google calendar, so I tried switch some of my exchange events to the google calendar but I don't get the pull-down option when in the event edit mode.
Any clue what's going on or how I can go about fixing this issue?
Thanks

[Q] Multiple Google Calendar selections

I have searched for a solution for syncing my various calendars on my Google account and I have not found a solution yet.
Currently I can sync my main Google calendar, Contact's birthdays and US Holidays but not my Dallas Mavericks calendar. I don't know how it misses it. Is there a limit on how many calendars that can be synced on one Google account?

There is no limit.
Go into the default Calendar application... Menu > Settings > Calendars (is the first option, under View Settings). If it's not there, then you most likely do not have access to the calendar on the account that you're logged in to on your phone.
I tried that.

Actually I have done this. I can see my basic Google calendar as well as "#[email protected]" and "en.usa#[email protected]" all of which i have selected on the web-based Google calendar.
I just can't find out how to get the Google calendars I have selected on the web to show up in my Android calendar.

Calendars not showing in the calendar app

Hi,
I have a stock rooted HD+ and I have synced my gmail account to my calendar. However I have several calendars attached to my gmail account and only my main calendar events show (none of the other shared calendar events show up). I have searched the forum and couldn't seem to find an answer. I've tried downloading Google Calendar, Business Calendar as well as the stock calendar, but all just show the main calendar events. In my GS3, I can go into the calendar setting and select what calendars show, under my gmail account, I see all my shared calendars, However I don't have that option with the HD+. Does any one have a solution?
Thanks!

Calender issue

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help, for some reason none of my calender events/agenda items are appearing in my calendar, it's just blank even though my calender is linked to sync 4 or 5 of my accounts (Facebook, google, my work account etc). Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?
Thanks
Same issue here
I have "Contacts Birthday's and Events" calendar subscribed in my Gmail and I maintain the birthday dates of all my contacts in Gmail [format: December DD, YYYY]. In HTC calendar [Accounts] i checked the Google option and in that i checked "Contacts Birthday's and Events" option, which takes the birthdays dates from my Gmail contacts and sets reminders and notifications. But I am not able to see any notifications from the calendar.
Now, i have another option in HTC Calendar Accounts called "People (Birthdays & Anniversaries)" and i have no idea where this option came from and from where it takes the birthday data from but it displays the birthdays. The annoying thing is when an event is about to occur this People thing displays 4 reminders for the same event, which is irritating.
I want to know where this People option came from and from where its taking the data and why the hell cant i see the Gmail contacts birthdays through the "Contacts Birthday's and Events" option??? :crying:

Help with do not disturb events

Hi,
I use a do not disturb events rule to silence notifications during anything scheduled on my work calendar, but not my personal calendar. My work just screwed around with how we access our work calendars and we are now using the outlook android app, which does not play nice with Google. I setup a calendar sync to a separate google calendar associated with my google account, and now I can nicely see all of my work calendar events in it (in its own colour), but I cannot find a way to make do not disturb only turn on for events on the WORK calendar and not all of the calendars that are part of my google account. Any ideas? I guess I could create a ghost google account just to sync work e-mail, but quite a kluge.
I'm so sorry. My work is FINALLY ditching outlook for Gmail (and Google apps for education) and I can't wait to have a real calendar app!
