Please forgive me, I'm a new OP5 user. Is this stable enough for everyday?
I'm highly tolerant of phone issues, because I've been using Windows Phones/Insider Builds for the past 6 years!

I'd like to know that aswell if there is the same slight Jello Effect while scrolling.

Here is my review.
The most stable and recent official version of H2OS is 3.5.0.
I havnt downloaded or tried this link in OP, however, when I attempted to, the file is same as that from official servers.
Pro:
Fully debloted with google ****
Very light and fast
Oxygen OS launcher + Hydrogen Is Launcher present
OTA Support without the local app ( got an update as soon as I booted)
Cons:
Had difficult time flashing this over Oxygen os via TWRP.
Chinese **** present (all Chinese apps are installed on data partition, easily uninstallable).
No Google play store ( you can install this using google installer or flash Gapps).
To install google play store, I had used google installer; however I faced issues as the google play services never got installed and each time I would see an error that the package is corrupt. So here is what I did.
Used google play installer to install the 1st 2 apps ( google framework and sync manager) installed Google Play store from apkmirror. Worked like charm. Google play installed play services automatically for me.
If anyone needs any help let me know I can guide. And yes prerequisite to flash this ROM.
Remove fingerprints and passwords.
Use Stock recovery (recommended) or TWRP ( You may face bootloops).
SuperSU SR1. for root access.
Before flashing do backup your internal storage (Highly Recommended)

Here is the latest one. Link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B40UPdMvbjw0bzRtaU9Ua3FoTmc/view?usp=sharing

So... you had OxygenOS installed and WANT to flash the Chinese HydrogenOS? For me, it is the other way around haha. I bought my OP5 in China (I work there) and I actually planned to flash OOS because of the Chinese bloatware. Are you suggesting to keep HydrogenOS and just "debloat" the phone?
Edit*
If I flash my OP5 from HydrogenOS to the newest OOS (4.5.3 from downloads.oneplus.net), do I need to unlock the bootloader first? Or root it? What would be the best order?
As far as I read online, I should
1. Flash the 4.5.3 OTA rom from oneplus download page with ADB.
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Root
Correct?
Thanks a lot, I am a first time Oneplus user and really appreciate any help.

I have been using HydrogenOS from the start since I bought the phone in China, just uninstall a few of the Chinese apps and install the google playstore. I had no issues at all. The battery life is AMAZING. Then I tried OxygenOS last night.. and used it a full day. Just went back to HydrogenOS for better battery life and it just feels snappier. Also I love the idea of no Google apps. Clean.

when ob for 1+5 release ?

Huawei P8 [ROM][6.0] Emui 4.0 B356 Xposed HRT Kangvip

Have discovered what. A custom ROM for the Huawei P8. Very stable, fast, many ... very many settings possible via K-settings, Root, Xposed and Viper4Android. Restart Menu (Normal Boot, Hot Reboot, Recovery Mode, Bootloader Mode)
No themes available for download for location .... China Rom. Own can be activated but.

Almost excellent...
But, problem with contacts and Google accounts..
The two seem to be linked.
So you cant sync your google contacts?
Try flash gapps for marshmallow, however you forgot to write that media apps are in chinese and you can not change it, dialer app has chinese features and symbols in it which is annoying too
Damn, this looks good. If we could get google services working and fully English this would be perfect.
Where'd you find it by the way? There may be more hidden treasures around

Does fromFuture offer something special? Except deodexing
Just to give u guys some wee insight as been on both roms lately but currently stuck with fromFuture. That KangRom is awesomness and you can customize plenty of things. This being very close to BlissRoms or many others AOSP base. Chinese aps you can easily uninstall. Chinese text eg. in the dialer you can deactivate in local build.prop by changing the CN country to EN. There's a snazzy working tutorial on Mate 8 forums called Chinese text gone with Yellow Pages. The Rom is sweet. But without google contact sync it is bad and it makes no reason to me to be using it However I didn't try any MM Gapps package though. It's got busybox built in as well as init.d support plus xposed that works with HW themes. If you are gonna flash over the 321a update you will lose Huawei Swype keyboard and get the chinese version, playstore gone. U need to pull up all the aps and place them to microsd and then push them where needed upon having this kangmod installed. Another thing is that you need to reflash SuperUser as this rom comes with KingRoot.
The fromFuture Rom is deodexed, busybox built in, SuperUser built in and is light and fast with more ram available and if you do a full wipe in twrp and flash this it will eat around 1giga and something from internal sd. But it is still an entire stock rom with no additional features. But it doesn't require those tweaks I was talking about re. the KangRom.
Huawei dont let us decompile system apks so its very diffcult to build a custom rom.
It seems kingvip have very good contacts to huawei because he is the only person in the
world who can decompile huawei system files.
Right now im rebuild the kangvip rom to a european rom with googles services and NFC.
My last build booting fine and NFC is working.

Their lollipop version has a ton of stuff including xposed but that's already on XDA.
Their marshmallow seems pretty basic so far though:
Deodexed, Busybox, Init.d support and Call Recorder
EDIT: There's another Spanish forum and nobody is complaining about no google contacts sync on either the German android-hilfe.de thread and Spanish forum which is interesting. It isn't listed as a bug either.

I would be guessing that is because they flashed MM Gapps and it worked but I personally haven't tried that yet. However fromFuture Rom works like a charm and if you wanna go to KangVipRom you can even reflash over the fromFuture and it will work. I will give it a try again to see if reflashing Gapps will do any good.
BTW, this cusrom compatible for UL00?

Bought P10 Plus in China, change to EU version ?

Hello Everyone,
My mom just got back from china and got a present for my birthday.
A p10 plus dual sim 128 gb.
The only problem is there is no google playstore and the HiApp stays in Chinese despite the fact the whole phone is in another language.
Can anyone help me step by step with these issues, please ?
I have a VKY-AL00C00B157, emui 5.1 ANDROID 7.0
Thank you very much.
Ldes.
You should wait for someone to post its google apps or you can reflash it by changing the region.
Until then use a third party marketplace
Hi, from the chinese forum the latest update to P10 seems to include google play store, which is hidden in Add Account section in settings. Maybe you can have a try in that direction?
Hi. I got the standard P10 (not the plus) 128GB dual sim Chinese model (also a birthday present!). I was able to get Google play store running by installing "GMS Installer" from the HiMarket app store included on the phone. After that you can also install Google Play Store from the HiMarket app. I think there must be at least some core google services shipped, laying dormant, in the Chinese ROMs because no rooting or flashing was necessary.
This was good enough to getting most the google related stuff (gmail, youtube, etc.) working. However there is a lot of bloat on the ROM from apps that Huawei includes in the Chinese ROM, and many of the apps (even the HiMarket app) that do not work in English. I couldn't get voice search integration working as Huawei hardcoded that to use their own HiVoice service in (and it only supports Chinese) and notifications didn't seem to be working properly either. Also the HiMarket and Google play store apps step on each others toes a bit in trying to manage updates for your installed apps. It was adequate, but it just felt all a bit tacked on rather than something that was seamlessly integrated.
So in the end I decided to rebrand and reflash the phone with a European ROM using the funky Huawei site. It's a paid service so I can't really say much more but I am sure you can find it easy. It worked well and I am glad I did as the there is far less bloat and crapware, the google integration is better and google assist is the native voice search.
Any ideas for rooting?
Yes, you can simply install Google Play Store in HiMarket. You can find all Google Apps there. If you want to sync your Google contacts, you need to install 联系人同步服务 , just copy and paste these Chinese Characters and search it in HiMarket. After installing it, you need to go to the App settings to grant all the permissions in 联系人同步服务 (Google contact sync). Everything then works fine.

Baidu.
You can flash a non-china ROM but not directly.... There are a few procedures required. The device needs to be rebranded and to do that you need to unlock the boot loader and install a custom recovery (TWRP), then overwrite the oeminfo partition. Then you can flash an international ROM. I used the funky Huawei method to do this.

Hi, any chance that any VTR-AL00 owner could backup and post its oeminfo partition? (TWRP could do it easy). That is the only partition missing that stock roms do not include but are required to rebrand. AL00 models update faster than European variants (they have newer Nougat and Oreo builds at this point). There is a oeminfo collection thread in the ROM development section, but VTR-AL00 is missing.
Thank you in advance

Make the Mi 9 Googlefree

Hello,
is it possible to make the Mi 9 complete google free? I dont need the playstore and not the playservices. Its possible to delete these things from the european Rom, or should i install the chinese rom?
I would like to use MicroG instead of the real google services.
Put the chinese rom in it...
You can flash a GSI like flokorom without flashing the G-apps
I hoped to stay by the original Rom, because the camera App and the quality.
But i was expexting that it wont be so easy. Thanks for the Info anyway

You could try debloating it (removing google apps as well - via adb/root). I wouldn't install the chinease rom, except you are really into it
On the flipside you could install the chinease rom and try debloating that one. The choice is yours
yea i will try, but i read somewhere than you cant deinstall all google services like especially playservices. but i will try and report. unfortunately i still have to wait on xiaomi till i can unlook the bootloader

Very seriously considering this. Have kind of been on 10 for the last couple months unable to go back until I seen this. What is the process to go from hydrogen to just plain old stock oxygen... Definitely interested in going back or at least attempting to try it out and see if it's what I remember it being, stable, better battery life, Etc. I can always go back to Android 10. If I miss it, but you be on a totally stable build would be kind of cool.

These are personal choices. If I prefer built-in call recorder in complete stock ROM, I have the option to switch on Hydrogen OS. If I like google eco system with stock ROM, I have the option of oxygen OS. Finally Hydrogen OS is for China and Oxygen OS for remaining Globe. Options are always good. Keeps people choosing
I recommend not using this , I flashed it and it's 100% Chinese edition.cant down load any Google apps.the browser is in chinese.if you want to down grade use an oxygen os downgrade zip.complete waste in my opinion.youve been warned.

It doesn't have the google play services pre installed but, there is a really easy way to install it
Launch the Mi App Store
Search for Google
Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select this option:
Install Google Play on Xiaomi phone
Though the results will be in Chinese, you should be able to make out the Google Installer app
Select Install, then when it has downloaded tap Open
Hit the big blue circular button to begin installing the various components
You will be prompted to allow the phone to install apps from unknown sources - select Settings, toggle on the slider, then proceed with the installation
Allow any prompts for permissions that pop up
I'm waiting for an EU / global version of this - doesn't seem to be forthcoming...

I suggest you to keep on stock rom firmware only.
Root it with magisk. Flash it with twrp.
