Music app error - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

Hi guys
I have noticed that the time bar is not working correctly. I'm playing mp3 files that are on my phone. Let's say that a song is 4 minutes long. The song starts playing. The display switches off in few seconds. Some 10-15 seconds before the song finish I'll turn on the display and the time bar of the music player is 2:45 or 3:00 or 3:15, but it's not at the end (3:58 or 3:59 or 4:00). The song doesn't skips, it doesn't play like it's on fast forward. Just time time bar is not correct.
I don't have this problem with an another app on my phone. I don't know if the Music app only my phone is working like this or maybe is a global problem.

Media Player prevents screen from turning off inreasing batt consumption

I have a Tilt and I wanted to know if this is normal or if there is a fix.
When playing music the screen will not turn off and uses up batts pretty fast. It jumps to the most dim backligh setting but is still clearly on. Is this normal or is there a music player that doesn't cause this issue?
Forgive me if this has been posted. I did a bunch of searching but there was a lot of noise regarding music skips and glitches.
I assume you are talking about the built-in Windows Media Player. In the options you can assign a button to turn the display on/off. Hope this helps.
hi there. while using the built in media player i have found that i can actually press the power button momentarily and put the device to "sleep" while still running media player. it will jump a touch but then resume. if you are using bluetooth headphones you can still control volume, play/pause and skip track. this makes the battery last much longer.
found the toggle screen option. Thanks guys!

Did any Diamond owner try this ?

I wish to use my PPC phone for playing MP3 and GPS navigation at the same time when I am driving. But it was a no go for my current Hermes + BT GPS setup as it cannot handle both application together (not to mention when call comes in, it completely hang and need reset!)
May I know Diamond's hardware is fast enough to handle below scenario without lag ?
1. Playing MP3 and GPS navigation turned on
2. Whenever there is an alert from navigation S/W(for turn, notification), pause MP3 and play the prompt. After that, resume MP3 playback.
3. When there is call in during MP3 playback and navigation, allow me to accept the call. At call end, resume MP3 playback and navigation.
Did anyone try this ? Thank you !
i tried it out with the radio and that works
Same here, just returned home from driving with both the FM radio and GPS on,
no problems at all.
Sound is not muted during driving instructions though.
I confirm, can listen to mp3s and GPS at the same time, the music IS NOT muted when prompting "After 300 meters turn left"
When playing MP3s and receiving a call, music is paused, then when call is ended, music restarts where left off.

[Q] Music starts playing unintentionally after sound of the notification.

Hello, i've got this problem right after EMUI 3.0 update. When a notification pops up - sometimes after the sound of the notification, mp3's from my internal storage starts playing. Even if no music app (or any apps) are running on the background at that time. There's no other way to stop that than bring down the ringtone volume (not media volume!) and wait a few minutes or restart the phone. It happens only about 1-2 times a day, but it's very annoying. Anyone else got this problem?
The only mention about this problem i've found is here.

- Sometimes music player will start playing a local file randomly when you have a different music app running like digitally imported, while using the smart cover.
Im not using the smart cover, but i've figured out that the smart cover function was set on, so i turned it off and i will see if it will get better.
did it help? i have the same issue every time i get a facebook notification.

Question Auto-play after pause

Do any of you have the annoying behavior of hitting pause and a few seconds later the phone just plays the media again? Happens in every media app and either trough the speakers or Bluetooth.
