Can't get data with T-mobile on G6 LS993, also frp question... - T-Mobile LG G6 Questions & Answers

I put the APN in and I confirmed it with T-mobile. I will copy below. I asked them to send to phone and they said it would take 1/2 hour. Then they said because it came from Sprint everything might not work. Isn't that a bunch of garbage. They are the same phone essentially except maybe different stuff packed in. Is there somewhere else I should be asking this question? Does anyone know how to get rid of all the Sprint garbage?
Also, if I entered my google account in a phone and want to do a factory reset before selling it how do I fix that first?
If anyone wants to know how or who can do an unlock on sprint LG G6, shoot me a PM.

The Sprint G6 has these bands available.

[Q] SM-N910F (Europe) Note 4 on T-mobile?

I have a European Note 4 (SM-N910F) that I want to be able to use on T-Mobile's network. It is unlocked and I am only getting Edge right now. Does T-mobile not support these specific bands for LTE? What about other carriers? Help!
I believe these are the supported bands of my device..
2G GSM
GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900
3G UMTS
B1(2100), B2(1900), B5(850), B8(900)
4G FDD LTE

To my knowledge T mobile only supports the 1700 and 1900 bandwith. Look at the specs on their website for what other frequencies they support. Let me know if you are successful because I want to buy an international phone as well and run it on tmobile.

Check this site - gives you all the LTE band frequencies world wide
It is still not 100% clear to me if it should work or not. Someone else care to clarify for me? Thanks

[Q] Stuck on EDGE data connection.

Hey there.
I bought my Moto G v2 a few weeks ago in the US, but I live in New Zealand. Because of this, my data connection is stuck on edge here (woo hoo 0.19mb/s download).
Does anyone have the modem files or something?
Did you check the 3g band used by your carrier?
Its unlocked?

"2 Degrees uses GSM900MHz (older 2G technology), UMTS 2100MHz (new 3G technology) and also can use GSM1800MHz and UMTS900MHz"
I have the US version of the phone, which uses different frequencies to the international version.
Yes, it's unlocked.
I was under the impression that it is a hardware thing and you'll not get 3g there with the US model.

UMTS/HSPA+ (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
As I understand USA model is missing the 900 and 1800band for 3g
Is unlikely that will work but you can check this thread you might find something

2100 is international & us model is missing this.

unlocked p10 plus purchased in Europe doesn't want to connect to networks in Chile

Hoping some on could point me in the right direction here.
I purchased a Huawei p10 plus (vky-l09) in German at mediamarkt which the sales person said was unlocked.
used the phone while travelling through europe with various different sims without any issues.
When I returned to Chile and inserted my Entel sim card the network name + signal bars appeared for a few seconds then disappeared showing only Emergency calls only.
At first I thought I might me something to with the networks the phone is capable of connecting to but upon reinserting a foreign sim the phone connects to the local Entel network (in roaming mode of course) and I tried various foreign
I have tried forcing the operator to be entel by deselecting automatic and forcing it connect to correct network but it just says "Network Registration Failed"
When inserting the sim card from Chile it doesn't show any where to insert an unlock code so i'm assuming it's unlocked.

It does not seems to be related with bands. These phones do have LTE4 B4 which is used in this corner of the world. You might want to check if your phone Imei is not blocked with the carrier (ask them to unblock if that is the case). Trying with another carrier SIM would be a good idea as well.

Thanks for this, i talked my mobile company here it turns out as of the 23rd of September 2017 the chilean government needs to register the IMEIs of all imported phones.
it's to do with them trying to assure that all phone have the SAE installed. more info here multibanda.cl (sorry can't post link yet)
You can get the operator to the registration for you or look at the list of provides on multibanda.cl

[Q] T-Mobile/Metro Bands

https://www.giztop.com/asus-rog-phone-2.html
Compatible with Asia / Europe(Partial bands) / Australia Bands
The ROG Phone 2 provides global 4G LTE-FDD bands:
8GB-128GB Version: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B28;
12GB-512GB Version: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B17/B18/B19/B20/B26/B28/B29/B32/B66.
Now the eBay sellers are claiming the phone works in USA GSM carriers:
Network Technology GSM / HSPA / LTE
2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100)
5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700)
18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 28(700), 29(700), 32(1500)
34(2000), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500), 46
I'm really confused here. I imagine GizTop and the eBay sellers have the same version of the phone so why are they advertising different LTE bands? I really want fully functioning LTE bands so I don't want to buy the wrong version. Does anyone have any advice or info?

is lg-lmv405ua firmware for at&t or sprint?

lg v40 at&t and sprint have the same model number: lg-lmv405ua.
is https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmv405ua-firmwares/ for att or sprint?
the spec from the above link:
Network and Data
Number of sim slots 1 Nano-Sim
2G network GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G network HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
4G network LTE band 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 13(700), 20(800), 28(700), 46, 66(1700/2100)
Data GPRS/EDGE
It does not mention cdma support and also missed all the key sprint frequency, so i assume it is for at&t only?
and where can i download the sprint stock rom (android 8 or 9)?
upate: i have contacted lg-firmwares.com and they said it is not for either att or sprint, it should be verizon because that is what they have for UA model.

It's not at&t. It doesn't support band 29 and 30. And at&t usually does not allow any oem to release their firmware.
