Hi, I'm new to automation apps like tasker, but is it possible to make alert slider modes change my v4a profile, i want it like this:
Top-bass mode
Middle-do not disturb(normal audio quality)
Bottom-normal ring(normal audio quality)
I am using a ressurection remix custom rom so the DND problem on oxygenos isnt a problem for me.
So is this possible? If yes, how?

Hello guys,
Few days ago I tried the cyanogenmod milestone 7 on my M7, that rom is amazing!! So many usefull options! The problem was the camera quality and it is still pretty unstable. I had the Renovate before which is nothing special and I'm currently using the Revolution HD 71.1 that seems to be ok but It is missing all those best stuff you can find in the cyanogen.
I really loved the notifications Profiles which can override the vibration and audio volumes for the notifications of each apps and the separate streams of ringtone and notification, it is possible to silence the ringtone keeping the notification and enable or disable the overall vibration from the same expanded volumes box! Also the slider to reduce the vibration strenght that is very noisy on this device
I just wonder if you guys know any rom with sense 6 (which is the only good for the camera) that has that tweaks or a firmware or whatever to enable that specific stuff..

It depends on what you are looking in a rom.
Camera is the same in all.
i do recommend insertcoin i think its the best one tbh.

Some would prefer android revolution or viper one.
but again it depends on your preference.

I´m using CM13 by Sultanxda and I really really hate the config options for alert slider, are 500% useless for me. So I start to look for a fix or a way to config the slider and I found that: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/app-custom-slider-root-xposed-required.455587/ This mod for Xposed offers the exact things and config options that I need/want but I need SELinux set to Permissive to make this mod works properly.
Now I start to search methods of changing the SELinux status and I find: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/how-to-set-selinux-to-permissive-boot-t3034245 also in this post I find this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58887725&postcount=230 this link seems to be working for a lot of users.
I just want to know if I can follow this steps in my OP 3T and use the amazing Notification Slider Xposed module.

This is a magisk module to turn off camera & video shutter sound while taking photo or recording video. Works with magisk v14.0+
Tested with LineageOS 14.1
But should work with all Custom/Stock ROMs

Because shutter sound is annoying.
Sorry if my question is dumb, but my phone already has no shutter sound when i turn down the volume. How is this different?

That's turning off of all voice/noise(DND or silent) from your phone while this module selectively disables shutter sounds irrespective of DND or no DND.

Some countries like South Korea make it necessary for phones to make loud shutter sounds, regardless of DND or sound settings. It's quite annoying having to go delete system files every update. Thanks again!

I am about to buy a brand new N7P. But, as it's under andrdoid one, i would like to know if there are the same issues as for others android one phones.
Indeed, i had a xiaomi mi A2 for 2 days, i returned it because the control volume for notification (sms, whatsapp...) cannot be separated with ringtone (when you receive a phone call). It's the same setting, you can only put different the sound for both, but you cannot change the volume separately.
Moreover, even at minimum level of volume, it's was way to loud, really too loud. I tried to change this with third party apps, without success.
Does the Nokia 7 Plus has the same issue as it's under android one ? I did not find any help on the manual we can see on the nokia website

Yes the "issue" is present, just one setting for ringtone volume
At the minute this is an Android Problem. However if you're willing to wait for the official Android Pie (9.0) to drop this will fix the issue.
If you can't wait you can always install the beta. But the beta WILL wipe your device

But, what about the minimum volume level ? It it possible to set it less loud too ? I mean, the minimum level is, for my preference, too much loud, so can we adjust it more accurately ?

Anyone knows how to mute shutter sound (camera-screenshot) in stock camera? My version doesn't have option to mute the sound in setting
Looking around xda, got several method to do that
1) use good lock's routines or other tasker app - set system vol 0 while on camera
2) delete file in system/media/ui
3) edit csc feature
i have done both 2 and 3 method, doesn't work. if possible i want avoid using tasker app just to mute camera sound (1).
my question is, where is the real location of camera's shutter media file? Is there any other way to mute shutter sound? i have root so any way that work will do
You can use silent mode pro from the store. It will do the job perfectly.
