OS wiped before sending a proper ROM with TWRP - Device Repair

Hi all,
I've just wiped the os using twrp before sending to the device (Nexus 5) a proper ROM to be flashed after wiping all the data.
Is there a way to send to the device a ROM using TWRP that is still booting or with any other tool?
I was trying to use Sideload but my phone keeps saying "Failed" while initialing Sideload so no luck.
Any idea?
Thank you for your help.

Solved wo using sidelod (whick keeps not working).
Just changed usb cable and transferred the rom after booting into TWRP.

Try to push a ROM into your device to flash it.
adb push (Zip Name).zip /sdcard/
or you could flash TWRP v2.7 but v2.6.3.3 should work on any ROM.
PS: Btw, wrong section. You should have post in Q/A.
What I don't understand is how something like dalvik wipe could fail. I thought that was a pretty fundamental thing?
Have a look here: http://freeware.info.pl/monitor.html
I take it you've already looked at that having searched and everything?

Thread moved to Q&A. I recommend trying to find a Windows PC to run an RUU. That tends to fix things quickly.

[HELP] [URGENT] Boot loop - None of the solutions are working

Hi,
I have an M7 and after trying every possible solution below:
- Flash continuously and wiping cache/dalvik
- Flash stock ROM from Guru
- wiped system/cache/dalvik as well
Absolutely nothing is working. Device is stuck in boot loop and wouldn't have any of it. I have TWRP 2.6.3.3. installed and I have side loaded stock ROM, ARHD ROM's.
Could someone help? The device had encryption issue whereby I couldn't log on to it. I then sideloaded ROM using ADB and it worked - ONCE. After booting once, it got stuck into boot loop and ever since it is like that.
Does anyone have any ideas?

in twrp wipe every partition and format data. reboot the recovery and push and flash arhd 84.
Ive tried that too.
On a different note, is there a good software to recover data after all partitions have been wiped?
btw, when I tried that, it said there was No OS installed afterwards

Sure, choosing Format Data erases the entire phone. All you do next it Push or Sideload a rom back to the phones sdcard storage
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
or with the phone in sideload in TWRP/advanced/sideload
adb sideload rom.zip
Sideload will start the install for you ..adb push you have to install the rom.zip
You need to flash your phone's specific RUU file. I had the same issue, did everything you did, and RUU worked!
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using XDA Free mobile app

[Q] Recovery boots back to bootloader

Hi there
If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate. I'll try to keep it short.
I have a HTC mini 2 and a few months ago installed TWRP and cyanogen.
Basically I followed the instructions from wiki.cyanogenmod.org.
One day the phone started to make reboots by itself until it got stuck in cyanogen boot logo.
I tried to install cyanogen again using TWRP but it kept failing. Wipe gave messages of "unable to mout data \ cache \ internal storage"
I decided to install a new version of TWRP and now every time I go to recovery, it boots back to bootload.
I tried to flash different versions of TWRP with the same result.
The phone is unlocked, S-ON.
Any ideas anyone?

Which versions of TWRP u tried? i sounds for me, that you did a TWRP or Cyanogen Update that isnt comfortable with your phone... Try a TWRP 2.8.5.0, flash it with ADB and give a Feedback. Or try to wipe dalvik-Cache aswell..

Moto G5S Plus is soft bricked

I flashed the Pixel Experience 8.1 rom and it worked fine. Now when i flashed the PE rom 9.0 it gave an error showing my storage as 0MB. I managed to fix that, but now when I'm flashing the same PE 8.1 rom, my phone is running into a boot loop. Please help me
Boot into TWRP, wipe everything. Then perform factory reset in TWRP. After that, copy a ROM using PC or otg to device, and flash.

If that's the case, then connect it to your PC, and use fastboot to go back to stock ROM. If you want help go to our telegram group https://t.me/g5splus
I know I'm kinda late but I'm here to help people with the same problem. I force rebooted during a twrp backup (cause I'm dumb) and it caused a softbrick. The recovery was stuck on the start screen and Android also didn't boot. I used the fastboot command fastboot flash boot boot.img to reflash the boot image and boom it worked. I don't know why it got destroyed during a backup but yeah, hope it helped.

Unbrick and clean install Rom for zuk z2 pro

I think my zuk z2 pro is (half) bricked. It was working fine with prevous aex rom but I thought it was time to update rom.
I have copied the rom to phone and started in twrp recovery to install aosp rom and got error 7.
I have tried to get in fastboot to update twrp 3.4.0-0 and wiped data, cache, dalvik etc. Then I got the same error 7 and vendor message in twrp when I try install aosp rom.
Qfil not worked for me. Download fail: Switch To EDL FailFAiled to Swit to Emergency Download mode.
With adb I get now error: device '(null)' not found.
What can I do now after tried different steps. I don't know which is the best step and how to unbrick?
-install another twrp?
-How to transfer and install rom now, by recovery, adb/fasboot, qfil?
-Need stock firmware or doesn't matter?
My phone is rooted.
I appreciate any tips and help.

Try to roll back twrp 3.2.1.0-0. I couldn't install any rom with last twrp. Everything is fine until I used twrp 3.2.1.0-0.

I replied to your double-post already in the other thread:

As far as I understand, you still can access fastboot mode on startup and flash new versions of twrp?
I just had a bricked phone again, it took me many hours to find out, what went wrong:
The main problem is that when you connect the phone with USB, it shows up as COM 900 and not as COM 9008.
In my case, I the different button combinations didn't work to change that mode (but sometimes it is possible look for an older post of me). If this doesn't help, you need to use a deepflash-usb cable (basically you remove the isolation of the green and black wire and hold them together) while plugging in and simulatously press power + vol down. Then your phone will switch to 9008. Now you should be able to use QFIL. In my case the installation of QFIL was broken and I just had to reinstall it (before, it always had many error messages). And you have to start the download process in QFIL very quick after you connected your phone in 9008 mode.
You don't need adb at this stage, the command "fastbood -i 0x2b4c flash recovery twrp_xyz.img" would just be enough to flash your twrp.
Hope this helps, just reply if you need anything and I'll try to help!
