To fix crash of default kali nethunter terminal app replace it with the one in download section.
*Installation(TWRP/CWM)*
Reboot in recovery mode
Select istall and select the zip you have downoaded
Flash it and reboot

there is no trace that the usb adapter is connected (no LED) also using airmon-ng / ifconfig , the adapter Wlan1 not shown

The led will turn on only when you will put wlan1 in monitor mode using the "wlan1 monitor mode" custom command. (Custom commands voice is in the sidebar of kali nethunter app)

Hello again ,
i did more troubleshooting now my phone run nethunter as it should (wifi adaptet ; chroot
... ) but my phone loose the wifi connection.
As the result i found out that if i flash the nethunter zip the kernel modification cause it.
So i can get back wifi connectivity only after flashing custom kernel (flash kernel V5 ...). But of course i loose the wifi adapter ability

This is strange because I can run both wifi together. Are you sure that this problem is a known problem? Because if it isn't a known problem I can try to fix it:good:

This problem is common on the J710FN if i use other rom diffrent from the stock i loose wifi ; the only Fix i use is to reflash the kernel using flash kernel or other custom rom.
this temporary fix was found on the reply sequetion of the evo grace rom 3.5.

Question about installation via recovery.
CM 11 is based on Android 4.4.x specification.
But most of the phones with Android 4.2.x has arecopvery compatible with CM 10.x (not compatible with CM11).
Is there any problem to install this ROM (CM1)9 with a recovery not compatible CM11?

I want to know that if this project can be put on an automated build server like Jenkins? It'll be very useful for developers and users as well. We'll be able to fix bugs instantly and any upstream changes in the CM sources will be automatically included. This will make the development faster and users wouldn't have to wait for long time for the releases, ROMs can be built on the Jenkins server and OTA Update support can be given to the ROM.

And people visiting this thread, please help me with something. I'm totally confused with Redmi 1S and Android One. I just don't understand, what should I buy? Redmi has excellent camera, good chipset, processor and GPU. But it has heating and RAM problems. But both of them are bugs in MIUI, I will replace them with CyanogenMod. On the other hand, Android One is also gearing up. Good (but 5MP) camera, Mediatek chipset and continuos updates for next 2 years. I'll install CM on it too if I get it. Please someone suggest me a good pick. Thankyou

That'd be possible once Varun submits his trees for official support to CM, he will do it once he fixes all bugs.
And to your next question, its up to your priorities. No one in my family owns an Android One device personally but my uncle owns Redmi 1S and its pretty good. I have used both and both are excellent devices. Redmi is no way going to live up to 2 years if it doesn't gets kernel sources. So see what matters to you most.
I have heard that unlocking bootloader will trigger a hardware change which allows the technician to check whether the bootloader is locked or not. Is that true ? Does it really affect our warranty ? Do we even have to care about it ?

Battery not charging in power off mode and phone not poweron if charging is on
Hi, I am on CM11-3 and I have the two issues listed in the subject. Recovery CWM, CM11, GAAPS full install.
1. If charging is on and phone is powered on, white screen with battery logo is showing. You have to remove battery, remove power cord, replace battery to power on.
2. If phone is off and charger is connected, same condition as above when phone is switched on.
How to overcome this issue and if anybodyelse is alos having the same issue.

Try flashing it with Carliv Touch Recovery V3.0 . I flashed CM11 with it. Getting no Problems.

I think it's a theme issue cuz I'm not suffering such issues. Try Ideal X theme it's good.

How to install/use/setup
Flash the rom with TWRP
Boot will take 5-10 minutes
Go through setup wizard
Enjoy!
Note: You can install gapps(6.0.1) if You want but since there's no internet , You won't have too much use with them.
Note 2: I added aida64 app to check what works, and what doesn't.
Note 3: to disable 3D touch, tap on search bar and type either settings and then inside accessibility find 3D touch and disable it, or just search for 3D touch and disable it.

Just put the phone somewhere where You won't see it. And leave it for 20 minutes. And count those 20 minutes. It takes REALLY long to boot. Also Your phone will show a black screen with navbar COUPLE OF TIMES, at thie point do not touch it. And it will eventually boot. Also remember that this rom is highly experimental and might not work on FD models, as well as there's not support for flat(replacing kernel won't boot it). Today I'll edit the kernel to speed up booting and see how that goes. Then fix more things so it becomes more usable.
And make sure that first boot is clean. Without gapps. Or other things.

Todays fixes so far:
Sensor detection
All buttons are now fixed
Btw there's no chance to play with the phone cuz I press the screen it only consider my touch as 3 d touch so for exemple if I press settings iam only able to see quick shortcuts to settings but can't access in it.

Since @Brandon Indar wasn't response when I request for Kali Nethunter, so I do it myself!
What is Kali Nethunter?
Kali Nethunter is an Android ROM overlay (Not a full ROM!) that includes a robust Mobile Penetration Testing Platform. It can be used to carry out attacks such as; Wireless 802.11 frame injection, one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, HID keyboard attack, as well as BadUSB MITM attacks. More info can be found here.
Notes:
> Make sure you're using TWRP
> TAKE A FULL BACKUP.
Installing:
> Go to TWRP
> Install the zip
> Reboot
Post-Installation Setup:
> Now that u have flashed and rebooted successfully, open "Nethunter" app and grant su permission.
>Go to "Kali Chroot Manager" and grant permission, than tap "INSTALL KALI CHROOT", tap "Download Latest, and select Full/Minimal chroot according to your current storage space.
>It will download. After download select "INSTALL KALI CHROOT" and it will install.
>Once done, reboot.
That's all. You have installed Kali Nethunter.

Usb Keyboard not working
Usb keyboard app is not working and also the kali nethunter app doesn't show any HID interfaces, it shows the following message "No HID interfaces detected", and also it got stuck at Starting download in the chroot manager

1. USB Keyboard will not work becouse Im not using custom kernel, and the source of our kernel is still not stable.
2. HID Interface, make sure you use external wifi adapter
3. Thats your internet problem

I managed to install the chroot, and by the way hadn't the marshmallow update disabled the OTG support in the kernel 3.18.19
And also i've found in github a Mystery Kernel source for Infinix hot 2

Yeah the OTG is disabled in MM, so you just enjoy other feafure of it git, etc
Well its the source is mine and mysteryagr have, but we didn't use it due to unstable.
And the link of the source is outdated, my source is a bit more stable.

my only problem is that after installing it completely without any problem
when rebooting i get boot loop ,

android 6 , stock rom after rooting it and installing recovery

i got looped ill flash the boot image to twrp?
I installed the Rom, the boot and I installed Magisk. I noticed that a red message appears when the device starts. The red message is: kernel is not seandroid enforcing.
Root is ok but I noticed a little delay with applications that need root permission.
My device is G610F.

I deleted Magisk and installed Super Su. Now all is ok. There's no red message about kernel; and there's no delay with applications. Thank you Mr Douglas. You are a great developper. My device is G610F.

SM-G610F I followed the instructions and everything works perfect I hope there is a speed indicator. But other than that this is awesome.

With this, I am also leaving the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016/Samsung Community. I'm getting a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 for Christmas. It has been a fun experience porting this and being in this community. About the headphone not detected issue. There is a fix but you need to download an app called sound about from the play store then plog your headphones in, open the app and a the media option choose headphones with mic then the sound should come out from the headphones now. I think this will help you until the developers fixes the issue.

Thanks for letting us know (scrolling through thread btw). If we don't fix the HeadPhone issue (Wired) We would include the App but we don't have permissions for it so we have to fix it
