the glass between the display und my touchscreen cracked.
I disassambled my diamond and have the display and touchscreen seperated, display looks good (just a real tiny scratch from the glass)
Now the question.. do i have to buy just a new touchscreen (digitalizer)?
Is there a new glass glued to the screen? And can i just put the glass on the display without stick them together?

I suggest you dont replace it if its still work. but if you want to replace it buy touc screen + LCD together not apart. because i did it and lost my phone ablities like wifi , gps and bluetooth.its better to dont open it.

Yes it is but you have to buy the front also as they only sell it as a whole set or just the front only.
is there anyway to fix the glass from lifting off the lcd ,it looks like there is some kind of double sided tape or something ,the touch screen is also not functioning properly any help would be greatly appreciated
Unless there's signs of abuse (dropped or water) I'd say it's warranty time.

If you can snap a pic of the defect I can be of some help. The digitizer / lcd assembly is very delicate, the glass screen is glued with the digitizer but can be correctable if for some reason the glass does come loose. The manufacturing of the housing on the vivid im my honest opinion is very cheap.

This will allow you to reglue the loose seam on the glass, but will require you to detach the glass completely and clean off any existing residue.
Make sure you buy the blue one, works like a charm for all the fixes ive experienced regarding loosened screens.

Anybody else having issues with the screen coming back on when trying to hang up on a call? I'm stock rooted with no mods. I have to hold the power button to shut down and reboot constantly. Amy ideas?
Do you have a screen protector on? Coz it could be borking your prox sensor. Many users in the tempered glass screen protector thread are reporting this issue due to the placement of the cutouts.

Try going into Settings > Accessibility > and check and uncheck "Power button ends call"

i already trashed one Tempered cover, and then 2 regular plastic cover (extremeguard and iSMooth). I havent foudn one that fits and works well yet.

I bought the Asling from gearbest but it has a "hole" in the finger sensor part, it has glue there which can be seen when you use the phone.
Is there any other good screen protector? I'd prefer with a selfie camera hole to not have flare on certain angles.

Yeah it's not a problem buying anything there it's about the shipping time if you willing to wait 1 and a half month to get the screen protector no problem

I used a tempered glass for 1 day and removed it again (from Gearbest https://www.gearbest.com/screen-protectors/pp_009176272936.html?wid=1433363 They simply deleted my 3-Star-Review). It also had that glue at the fingerprint position, which was very annoying.
Besides that I noticed that touch sensitivity is not that good with the tempered glass. For fingerprint unlock you had to press very hard/deep to get the fingerprint recognized.
I also tried to increase touch sensitivity with a trick I found online (Settings - Additional Settings - Languages & input - Keyboard, mouse, and track pad - Pointer speed: Increase Pointer speed for more sensitivity) but it didn't help at all.
Does anyone know a good tempered glass with curved edges, without the fingerprint glue and supporting nearly the original touch sensitivity?

Anyone had any problems with the proximity sensor not working? I have applied a thin film type screen protector that seems to prevent the proximity sensor from working
its hard to expect good TG for this kind of curving phone. I think hydrogel is a safer and better option. Not to mention it's cheap. (USD 1.2)
There are lots of problems with the proximity sensor, with or without screen protectors, don't worry. Should be fixed with an update
I got a Mocolo UV tempered glass screen protector on my Mi Note 10. In-screen fingerprint sensor works perfectly. Bought from Swedish online store. Can't seen to find it anywhere else right now.. so perhaps not to helpful.
Update: Found it here, not a clue if this site is safe or anything as I never used it. But this is the kind of screen protector I have.
