How to install oxygenOs in the chinese model? - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I got a chinese model oneplus 3t and it's running hydrogenOS. Can you please show me the instructions of installing oxygen? Does this thing affect the performance or anything else? After this will all the google apps and play store be installed or do you need to flash gapps or something? Sorry for all these questions but I'm new to this kind of stuff.

I believe that's a question that has been asked a few times already. A search might help: https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/forum/6011?query=hydrogenos to oxygenos

I need help

Hello, I am new to xposed and edxposed framework and stuff so these questions will probably sound stupid, sorry in advance.
I have both programs installed on my oneplus 6t from europe. I have tried multiple modules but most just wont work. Alot of these were last updated on 2016 and stuff. I found a list with all the android pie compatible modules, but none have descriptions or download links. The list is also very limited, I am especially interested in a modded/module for snapchat but snappreffs (in the "compatible with pie" list) doesn't work. I did get other modules To work so I do know how to properly download and install one. My question is, do I have to downgrade my android 9.0 to an older version so I get more compatibility with older modules and stuff. And if so, which android version should I get?
Thanks in advance.

Which gapps package is there in pixel experience for moto g5s plus Sanders ?

Hello
I'm new to the world of custom ROMs and the first ROM that I flashed on my phone was pixel experience based on android 10 and I really liked it.
Now I want to try out other different types of ROMs like resurrection remix and others but they all require you to flash the gapps separately as those ROMs don't come with it pre installed.
I went on the gapps website and saw that there are many different types of packages for gapps like Pico , Nano , micro , mini etc. and I'm not sure which one I should go with.
the gapps included with pixel experience android 10 were enough for me so I tried searching which package does pixel experience use for their android 10 ROM but I couldn't find any proper info.
So can anyone please tell me which package does pixel experience use for android 10 ROMs or which gapps package should I go with for other ROMs that need it?
Also this is my first post in this discussion so let me know if I need to move this to other proper category
Thanks

Can you list all the Google Apps that you use?
(Ignore the system apps and mention only the ones that 'you' use)

"Locking" bootloader to enable Play Protect - North America

I bought a Redmi K20 Pro (with unlocked bootloader) and had it shipped to me in Canada, not knowing what the limitations of having an unlocked, Asia/Europe market phone in North America were. I would like to use apps like Google pay and Netflix however my device is obviously not Play Protect certified and registering it with Google's register service doesn't seem to work. I am wondering if there's anything I can do to get my device certified, like flashing an EU rom or somehow "locking" my bootloader.
P.s. I know very little about this kind of stuff so I apologize if I'm missing something obvious here.

1. flash magisk ( also I suggest using custom rom ,like LOS 18 or something else since miui is garbage )
2. use magisk hide on " play store " and " google play services "
3. reboot
your play store should show certified now
To go further on what was said above, even with a locked bootloader you won't get play certified on a Chinese k20 pro. So if you like miui, flash eu.miui. custom roms are just so much better imo, has better features and you'll get far more updates plus play certified and be able to download Netflix and use Google pay come without needing root on those big roms like evo X, pixel experience, eu.miui ect.
Or the easiest method is to just flash magisk but why would anyone want to use Chinese miui anyway. Eu.miui or custom rom is your best bet.
Did you said you are running MiuWHY?
I just wanna mention that rros 8.6.1 gave me 14hrs of sot
The vendor I bought my device from listed this phone as having a global ROM, which I'm not exactly sure what that means aside from having an unlocked bootloader out of the box. Is there any particular downside to flashing an EU ROM if I live in North America?
And yes I happen to be running MIUI 12 Not the greatest experience but I guess it could be worse?
As for custom ROMs I came to this site a while ago (Mid 2019ish) looking for an Oxygen OS port for this phone and couldn't find anything. If that or even stock Android is available, and will give me a stable experience on this phone, could someone perhaps point me in the direction of the relevant discussion?
Edit: Just to clarify, I would absolutely prefer a custom ROM experience similar to Oxygen OS over MIUI, I'm just not sure what's out there in terms of options. If anyone has a good experience with a particular flashed ROM I'd love to hear it!

Not everyone has their phone for sot! I use mine for game a lot and miui's game turbo is really handy for me, along with floating windows feature. The implementation is very handy.

Question From OxygenOS to ColorOS

Hello,
Oneplus10 Pro EU version - oxygenOS here.
I would like to switch to colorOS due to stock dialer and native call recording.
It is possible? Will I run google services along with GooglePay?
I didn't find the manual anywhere, all the people are only going from ColorOS to OxygenOS.
Please help me
Thanks
Google Services are preinstalled, you will only need to install Google Play's apk.
Here's the COS unbrick tool. Happy downgrading if you can get past the login.

The easily way is to download the "OnePlus 10 Pro ColorOS 12.1 A.15" stock firmware and the follow the instruction from HERE (same procedure) and you're ready to go. That's how I reverted from Oxygen OS 12.1 A11 IND back to Color OS A15. It works flawlessly.... PS. After you have downloaded the Color OS 12.1 A15, you have to unzip the payload.bin in order to perform the procedure.

Well thank you.
Can you confirm that ColorOS does not use Google dialer by default please?

yes, it does not use google dialer.
So there could also be native call recording.
Well thank you
Sorry to chime in but why would you jump into bed with the CCP over an Android alternative?
Makes no sense to me. You can record People, sure but you can be sure that you're being recorded by the CCP..
I can promise you.
PS you're jumping out the frying pan into the fire
By choice?
That's my whole two cents on it... Not going to help you with it. Just trying to dissuade you from making a bad decision
I have OnePlus 9 with oxygen os, if I change to color os, anybody know if I can connect Galaxy watch 4 and Google pay? Thanks
