I've been trying to contact huawei for a couple of days, trying to get my p9 back to alive.
well let me explain how this is happened :
couple of days ago, I was on nougat firmware and few games that I play isn't optimized for nougat yet so I planned to downgrade to marshmallow via rollback and update.app package. First I install the rollback package via internal storage and its success, second, I rebooted phone and insert my sdcard to install update.app from official huawei and its say success then it rebooted itself after 100% flash. Then I realized that my phone isn't came to boot, I try to reboot again but no success getting to boot screen. I try to reflash the update.app thru dload mode but dload mode isn't boot anymore. trying to boot into erecovery but it never show up. Think I'm broke my recovery at this state. Then I try to boot into fastboot mode and its success. Unfortunately, It says frp locked and phone locked ( yes I formatted my phone on nougat earlier thinking that the cause of lag is maybe I dirty update it without clearing data etc like flashing firmware and I forgot to turn frp off )
This phone is mine and not stolen. I can provide you my google data and prove it with ss on my google account manager that this phone is already been bind to that account.
I wanna know how to turn frp lock off?
Trying to fastboot frp-erase but didn't solve my problem
Trying to fastboot frp-unlock but it ask me for a password (trying to insert bootloader unlock code but it says password matching failed)
Trying to flash anything but it says remote: command not allowed since my bootloader locked again due upgrading to nougat.
And, I dont want to pay for dc-phoenix since I want to learn myself how to do it from you guys

You won't learn anything, because your phone is ****ed up In real mess and you must pray even to recover it with DC phoenix ... and yes, you must pay them

When FRP is locked, we can not help you. Use DC Phoenix for repair.

Hi, i have tried to remove my root and unlocked bootloader as I didnt think they were correctly installed in the first place. Also I wanted to install a new oem update that it keep reminding me of in the background. So now after doing alot of things found in forums and youtube I have come to an end point were the phone just comes to the bootscreen, "your devise has been unlocked and cant be trusted." from here it is just stuck with the "your devise is now booting..." then nothing happens so I realy need help now, otherwise I will have to buy a new phone within the next days.. I cant still get into the twrp and format/wipe data etc, so is it something in here I need to fix then?
Anyone that can please help me out a bit?

I'm having the same issue. I am unable to flash a custom rom or an official rom. One issue I am having is that I can not relock the bootloader as I get an command not allowed. Please can someone help with this issue.

I have the same issue try to flash stock ROM 182 and latter or directly 132, is important to flash 132 BCS is the only really complete rom

But I cant get into the twrp anymore, only the fastboot and recue mode and the huawei erecovery mode, and in this the wifi just gives me failed to download the package or something like that.... ://
I managed to get in recovery by running the oem unlock. The problem I have is that I am unable to lock the bootloader again.
I really want to get the phone working again. I don't want to have to send the device to a Huawei Service Centre since the bootloader has been unlocked.
I really hope someone can help us all get the device back to stock firmware.

How did you get to the recovery mode? I cant get to the twrp anymore, i think i did something wrong and wiped data or formated it so now i can only se bootup screen, or huawei logo or get to fastboot and rescue mode. There it says phone unlocked and frp (or something) in green letters lock....? And also the huawei erecovery which i cant do anything in...
I run fastboot oem unlock and flashed twrp using fastboot.
I have managed to flash update.app, Default_hw.app, Default_normal.app and Default_eu.app using an app called DC Phoenix, but now when the phone boots it goes in to eRecovery and the touchscreen doesn't work. Even when I flash twrp again the touchscreen still doesn't work.
Please can someone advise what to do to get the touchscreen and the other phone back to normal.

So now my phone don't boot, twrp goe's when I flash another updape.zip with extarnal sd card and I can't flash anything with fastboot because frp it's lock...
my previous version it's l09c45b101 and I don't find full update.zip of this version just ota...

It's not big problem just boot loader lock and relock again the phone is factory reset. Ok

Edit: so like I say fastboot don't work ....
i had the same problem only option was to use dc phoenix so you have to pay but maybe try red lotus but it think it wont work because you dont have the option to flash stock recovery.but maybe we should give you a twrp backup of system and boot then you could boot again

I paid 15€ on DC Phoenix for flash any update.app but don't boot.
I paid 15€ on DC unlocker for erase frp but don't work.
Unlock and relock don't work
I can't use a backup or twrp because now I have stock recovery.
What can I do ???

- relock the bootloader via ADB
- in Developer Option, Enable OEM unlock
- unlock the bootloader again via ADB

adb reboot-bootloader THEN fastboot oem lock (and the code)?

HWOTA working and solved your problem.
just yesterday I made mine. the bootloader was open but the frp was closed.
the HWOTA has solved it nicely. now vtr-L29C432B185 firmware is up.
Unfortunately, this disadvantage is the low level format after the bootloader has been re-opened as the firmware closes.

Same problem.. and you can bug it to get locked, but won't help... my problem is that I got EMUI 8 with oreo, but also B172 rom flashed at the same time. So if I unlock it but FRP is lock, the phone won't boot to install because of rom.

Sooo guys, if you have HUAWEI P10 (my phone is VTR-L29), which have FRP LOCK, BOOTLOADER LOECKEd and you HAVE access to ERECOVERY, you can safe you time and money to do this: send me a message, because i can't put outside link.... (you need Frimware Finder, Wifi router, and eRecovery)
I did everything like in this thread after visited phone service, there they told what my phone totaly dad...
Sooo, do it and BE HAPPY.

I have a Huawei P10 plus (VKY-L29). Tried all methods to bypass FRP to no success.
- Talkback (V7.3 - Therefore no luck)
- Emergency dialler (*#*#6130#*#*) not picking up as well as other dial codes in emergency dial
- Erecovery (cannot find any recovery files)
- Fastboot mode (phone restarts to Welcome screen soonest booted)
- Wifi (Connect to first Wifi and then forget this network and connect again to 2nd Wifi entering some manual details on the host/proxy and then connect again to force the phone to come up with the error message in order to access help) no luck
Am I missing something? has anyone had success already regarding the Huawei P10 Plus FRP bypass????

so a friend of mine is a complete noob and have this problem with his p9 plus.
The phone keeps rebooting itself in an endless loop, i can't access recovery and only when plugged in to the PC i can access fast-boot.
Phone is locked, FRP Lock.
With getvar command i managed to get this info:
rescue_phoneinfo: VIE-L09C113B170
seems that there is no full zip of this rom anywhere just partial ota (found those with firmware finder) but even with that when i try to flash recovery i get command not allowed.
On the fastboot screen of the phone i have this reboot reason AP_S_PANIC
anyone knows a how to get the phone out of this? (i was thinking that maybe unlocking the bootloader could be of any use, but in the request page it's needed the Product_ID and i don't have it. (can't *#*#1357946#*#*)
I don't know if it does work in a locked bootloader.
I have my P9+ for a week and maybe if you download a firmware compatible with your version and try to 'hard' update the phone, using a SD card with a update file on a dload folder and restarting the phone pressing VolUp + VolDown +Pwr, you can restore your friend's phone.
I'm sorry if I didn't help, I am myself stucked trying to rollback my version to MM and have the NFC and the Bluetooth working again...

I bought in January the nice P8 Lite 2017 and received a PRA-LX1C432 (dual sim europe no carrier).
It was with Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0 and i wanted to root it.
I did it well, and was with the firmware PRA-LXA1C432B182 in stock and rooted with the tuto from this thread

and uninstalled TWRP to put back stock recovery.
Later, I wanted to unroot my phone, and that's where things went wrong. I tried to do it with the superSU option and after a hard reset it was working and not rooted, but i'd still have the message "this phone can't be trust" so i tried to relock the bootloader and it did hard reset the phone again and now, i'm stuck with a phone that can send sms or go through the internet with LTE, but can't access fm, camera, google music, nfc is going on and off, calls don't work, etc... In dev options, Allow OEM unlock is greyed and I can't change anything. Phone is recognized by computer and I can acces memory of the phone.
I can hard reset it won't change, i ca also accessFastboot, or recovery or eRecovery, but in Fastboot mode it says "PHONE Unlock FRP Lock" and from my computer i can't do anything : if i try to flash twrp with fastboot command, i have the message "FAILED remote the command is not allowed", if i try to lock/unlock/relock bootloader it says "FAILED remote root type is risk".
Clearly, I don't know what to do. I'm used with rooting/unrooting smartphones from different brands (Samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei...), even though i'm far from being a master, and using Fastboot/ADB commands, but... I don't know.
If someone has any idea, I'm taking. I'm thinking about dload method but, of cooourse, I do NOT have a sdcard, so it's the last thing i would have tried from all i have seen on xda and elsewhere.

Run a eRecovery restore , it restore the entire smartphone to stock and also lock bootloader. Idk if this can solve your problems but i had ur same problem a days ago and i restored my phone enterely.

If you have twrp or if you can install it in someway , i can provide to you and ominfo.img to flash via twrp in ominfo partition to restore and remove package info error.

TWRP is not installed, and I can't flash it in any way. Fastboot says "FAILED (remote : command not allowed)" if I try flashing recovery or system or anything. It also says "FAILED (remote : root type is risk) if I try to lock/unlock/relock the bootloader.
Ok, I'm actually trying something. I plugged the phone into my computer, and HiSuite told there was an update available for my phone, so I just clicked on it. It's doing right now, I will edit my post after it has finished (for good or bad).
EDIT : Ok, si it did work ! My phone is now on PRA-LX1C432B194, everything is working, not rooted. I relocked the bootloader with Fastboot, the command did work (guess I can root it again if I need now). But I think I'll leave it like that ^^'
Allow OEM unlock isn't greyed anymore, I came back to the original state of my phone but with an update not (yet) available in my country, no more "Device can't be trusted" message. Like if nothing had ever happened (expect it will be written PHONE Relocked).
This phone is really sensitive, haha^^
But as anyway I made it

I have bricked my Huawei P10 and I am trying to recover it through Hwota, I have done this before and hwota saved me.
However, this time I flash TWRP using fast boot and i get the confirmation that it has flashed everything is okay but I can’t launch TWRP no matter what, I have tried every button combination tried fastboot boot recovery.img and that failed, I have flashed various different versions of TWRP and none work.
I just need this resolved and then I can unbrick.
Someone please help me :crying:
UPDATE:
Managed to send the device off to Huawei hoping that they wouldn't know I had unlocked the bootloader or rooted the device. I couldn't re-lock the bootloader so i was expecting to pay for the repair. I played dumb and said "i dont know why my phone wont boot up? it shut down and wont start again" they basically repaired the phone under warranty, replaced the main board with no questions asked and no hassle!
