Is the phone purchased in India compatible with USA carriers? - P8 Lite (2017) Discussion

So, should we unlock the phone or it works directly with the USA major carriers' LTE bands?

N920I vs N920T for T-Mobile (US)?

I'm looking to buy a Note 5 outright (no contracts, not buying through a carrier, etc.). There are a few variants I've looked at, including the N920T (T-Mobile's variant) and the N920I (international variant). I don't want to purchase a phone locked to T-Mobile, but I also don't want to buy a phone that could possibly not be 100% compatible with T-Mobile's network. Will the N920I be able to completely take advantage of T-Mobile's US network like their N920T, or does the N920T support unique bands and/or protocols not found on the N920I?
Own a n920i and working on 4g tmobile Holland.
I guess it would depend on which carrier you're going to use . Not all carriers use the same Bands for LTE.
you can check this on the website
Willmyphonework.net
I ordered the 920i for use on At&t, as the 920T was missing one of AT&T'S bands.
How's the phone working for you. I'm looking at buying a tmobile note 5, but was planning on using it on at&t.
How has your experience been on AT&T's network with the 920i? Any issues?

Honor 4x with AT&T connection : Not working in USA

Hi,
I am using honor 4x in India, now I am trying it with AT&T connection in USA.
Phone is not connecting to the AT&T service.
Any specific reason?
Is it locked or it does not support the AT&T range bands?
Thanks.
Probably it doesn't support At&t bands (in the area where you are)
a lot of Huawei phones arent supported on USA bands if im not wrong, an exception is the nexus 6p
may be bands are not supported

Carrier brand N8 receive all bands after unlocking?

Been going back and forth between purchasing an unlocked N8 or TMO variant N8. Question is, if I bought a TMO variant and then had TMO unlock my phone after meeting their requirements would all the LTE bands then be activated and available on the phone? I've heard that all carrier variants have the hardware for all the bands but are limited to carrier bands when locked.

What model for Canada

Hey guys,
LG did not issue a Canadian V40, but I'm considering giving the V40 a try (my V30 died) but I find LG and all their carrier models so confusing especially when it comes to unlocking and cross flashing etc. I guess I'd like to know what models you might recommend to use in Canada?
US models are also typically cheaper VS global unlocked, so is it easy to unlock AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon, etc models for other services also maybe bootloader unlockable?
I think I'm looking at these bands for coverage:
GSM: 850/1900 GSM
3G: Bands; 2,4,5 (1900/1700/2100/850) UMTS
4G: Bands; 2,4,5,7,12,13,17,29,66 (1900/1700/2100/850/2600/700/1700/21000) LTE
Anyway thanks for the help.

Question Version SM-G998U snapdragon from USA will be work in Europe?

As in the subject.
Thanks in advice
It will work fine as long as the following is true.
1) The device is sim unlocked
2) The QUALLCOMM chipset supports the network bands your carrier supports.
If your on Verizon in the us and traveling to Europe as long as you have the proper international service package on your phone you should not have issues for 2g and 3g, LTE should mostly works fine 5g may.
Thanks for answer. Good news
I live in EU and consider buy version from amazon us with snap:
