Finally a proper RR build not requiring post flashing any fixes. I was asked to do it many times so thanks for doing for the community what I didn't.

Helium patch just in case.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298972807

Sometimes the signal indicator isn't visible

Just one question regarding flashing here:
Is it necessary to change the install-script or is this ROM one that can be flashed directly on a Helium?
Some Hydrogen ROMs do a check and return a TWRP error unless the first row in the script are changed (i.e. Hydrogen check removed).
Thank you very much to both @Davehimself and @ajmsg78 for continuing this project.

Heat, electricity consumption fast

I can't flash this rom on my helium device. I getting kind of error this rom for hydrogen not for hellium how can i fix this. Sorry my bad english and thank @DEVAhimself @ajim78 to countinous this project.

Sounds like the traditional install-script issue. Perhaps one option would be to remove this part of the script from the Hydrogen ROM so it can be flashed on both devices without further modification.

You need to modify the update-script and change all the hydrogen to helium

Okay, cause I can't help you guys on that patch thing, helium is now officially in. Nothing to patch/change or modify, just flash, and download further updates over OTA, you'll get a notification when new builds are up.
I got pity with the helium guys
@ajsmsg78: Nevertheless, big thx for your work. Now you can be more relaxed with your decision to leave

Finally! Thank you all for making this possible!

Thank you very much for the Helium build. Your effort is highly appreciated and two ✌ for everything (two thumbs up).

I am downloading the Helium build right now. Will dirty flash over the 20170707 ajmsg78 build. Will report back when everything is done.
One question: Should I flash the Zola III scripts or are they included (considering the @njiel8 base)?

How it is that this fantastic building is not followed and commented.

It really is... i have been using Mokee for years and have found it to be the most solid AOSP/CAF rom there is. They are super quick with fixes and have a good updating system. It doesnt get as much recognition as it should. There is consistently 100 downloads for each nightly, so there is probably a good silent following.
There's some problem with variant_script.sh file.
I have m8, 0P6B65000, m8q. Plz help me.

It would indicate your device is not supported.
Actually, seems like latest nightly is having issues. Im getting the same error.
So just to refresh your memory and maybe even to share what for me has become a daily driver.
This building is lovely has only those two customizations that typically add as standard specification. The first is Viper4android inevitable on all my device, the second is the button to clean the recen applications at the bottom right, for me these are the only two things that can not miss.
admirably it supports Xposed although not love you but I use it only to remove the advertising of Youtube (if anyone knows another way I would be really grateful I put aware) and then incremental updates do nothing short of fantastic downloading only a few MB 15/20 usually install it and you do not even re-install Xposed.
I usually get 4.30 hours screen on with all the various active notification services never a reboot or a jamming and weather works well without having to download server or various things.
In conclusion if you are looking for a stable rock this is for you.:good:
me tooo fantastic rom ... i donate it too and use incremental updates (fantastic) but i miss the navbar visualation vom dirty unicorn rom i hope and op is hear me and implate this donator rank #50 ))) best rom ever thank you for this

Mokee.
When I am playing games that use tilt sensor, when I tilt my device towards left the action is performed towards the right and vice versa. Like while playing Asphalt when I tilt my phone towards right the car goes left and when I tilt the device towards left the car goes right. Could you please fix this.

I'm just maintaining this thread. However, been looking into the commits and codes and I don't see anything special. What's there on lineageOS, the same is here. GPS should work if it works on lineageOS.

Thanks Buddy
Very glad to have you with mimax2, you are porting almost all ROMs available. After finishing start Oreo. Can you port tassadars multirom ? It will be great effort. Thanks again.

What are the differences of dual boot patcher (that we currently have) and multirom? Pros and cons?

Multirom has own twrp and no need to patch ROMs and any zips to flash ,easier than dualboot .

Thanks man. you are just awesome.
I was using slim roms from my xperia x8 and miss this rom too much.
You have no idea how much im happy to see slim rom for mi max2.
--------------------------------------
I think we have to be honest and believe that Mi Max 2 is not popular so much. we have not many developers that working on custom rom for this phone.
so we have to be more grateful to pranavaryans.
Thank you man.
Good rom. Used it a while back when i was on A samsung phone.
[BUG] Developer settings crashing when you enable and tap on it.
Waiting for Oreo
Project ABANDONED
Thanks for discouraging comments on other my threads.
Why this animosity toward the developper? Few months ago many were saying that we need developers for our
Maybe you are doing too much too soon. Pick a couple of projects that you can update regularly and then release them. I for one would be happy to use slim nougat given its updated regularly.

My only request would be to add microg support to it.
OT - have you considered any gzosp base rom for development? IMO, they seem to be more smoother than others. I have experienced that on mido

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Mi Max, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Any hydrogen users here, can you please tell me if this rom stable enough to be used as a daily driver? Any bug that you have found so far, thanks. @dungphp thank you very much for your hard work. Without you our mi max community would have been dead. I really hope you can give us support as long as you can, thanks again.

Any crdroid update?...
Sent from my Mi Max Prime using Tapatalk
For some youtube videos, even setting the volume to the lowest setting keeps a annoying noise coming from the speaker. Any idea?
The flashlight does not turn on and the button is clamped - it also hangs the phone. after clamping the power button
At work, there are small delays, such as microfreeze, the speed of copying from the phone’s memory to SD is depressingly low 3-5 megs per second, Wi-Fi screens on the computer were initially poured at 150kB / s (finally, tin) increased to 750kB / s by the end and tom thanks
It seems that the smart has lost 2-3 cores from 6 processor ones, everything is somehow inhibited - open. A folder with screenshots in the phone's memory in ES Explorer and wait a few seconds while it draws tambneils next to the file names.
