130 minutes for full charge, it takes almost 100 mins for 90% charge✌

I realize that the charging (battery) icon has a double lightning symbol if fast charging is activated and single lightning if it's not. Is that true?

No, since our charger supports 12v-2a as well.
You would need a similar charger.

Charging speed

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the BLU R1 HD can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

Must use Blu charger. Otherwise, charging speed will be 30% lower. I checked with Ampere. Using Blu charger, can charge from 10-100 in about ~2 hours. Not bad.
My experience has been different. If you're heavily using the phone (google maps for navigation for example) the battery will barely charge and it will get very hot. The phone maintains charge well, however charging it up is definitely a 3-4 hour process, if I plug it in for 15 minutes with no use it's about 5-10% on the battery max. I did not find the charger that came with the phone to be any different than most other chargers I had lying around, same charge time (most were higher amperage anyway, being throttled by the phone regardless).
3 because it does charge very slowly, even compared to older non fast charge phones I've had, I think I read that it maxes out at [email protected] which is quite slow.
It's not as big of a deal as the battery life is excellent and it was only $60, but you can't get around calling the charging slow
Definitely limited charging speed, if I use a Samsung 2 amp charger im looking at about 3.5 hours to max charge, whats weird is I used a Samsung 1 amp charger and achieved full charge from 8% to full in just under 2 hours. How does a manufacturer cripple charging port?? -_-

Yes, that's why I said you have to use the Blu charger. I have no idea how they cripple it.

Here's how long it took to charge my R1 HD from 1% until 100% with the Wi-Fi on and radio on. 2 hours and 39 minutes...
Standard BLU charger and cable used.
It's really crappy that BLU somehow cripples the charging time if you choose to use a different charger or cable.
That's got to be the thing I hate the most about this phone. Sigh....
I just got his phone and while I work I stream videos and music all day long at my desk. I keep the phone plugged in the entire time and I've noticed the battery percentage will only increase 1% per hour while charging & using the phone at the same time. Previously I was using the iPhone 6s doing the same thing, it charged 100% quickly. But with nothing changing on the iPhone 7 I switched to android on a cheap phone while I wait for the Samsung Galaxy S8
How does the device behave with Power Banks or 2.1 V outputs?

Xiaomi Mi Mix Quick charge 3.0 question. Please help

I have recently purchased the Mi Mix with the Chinese ROM, I have now unlocked the bootloader and flashed the most current global ROM, I believe the Mi MIx is quick charge 3.0 according to specs on Qualcomm and Xiaomi website. I have tried the LG g5 quick charge plug and the Anker quick charge 3.0 powerport +1 and neither of them display fast or quick charging, it definitely isn't quick charging as it takes nearly 5 hours to charge. Any help or info would be appreciated as it's driving me crazy, I understand it's a much bigger battery but surely 5 hours for a brand new phone isn't fast charging, could this be the kernel or global ROM isn't supported. Thank you to anyone that me be able to help in any way.
Ok?

I don't understand why it would take that long, the question would be from what % are you changing, my mix takes a little more than an hour to go from 45% to 100, and a little bit more than two hours from 5% with the changer that it came with, remember not all phones are created equal also I'm on epic rom 7.3.30
Battery is 4000 mAh then to charge you have to wait a bit... with a quick charge 3, i have 1h45 to fully charge my device...
Try another usb cable
Ok, I changed the cable and plug, charging from 0-100% in just under 2 hours, fairly quick but should it show on the lock screen as fast charging as mine shows just charging.
I'm using Ampere app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.ampere). On original charger it shows max possible current 1800 mA, and after some crazy readings it stabilizes indeed around of that value. Other my chargers are not so good. You have to wait a bit (minute?) until the reading will be accurate. First readings are crazy high.
Other such apps probably work as well.
ampere give u right speed amperage value.... value decrease with higher battery level, you are not full mA all the time.... if somedody use a custom kernel like papashclumpf... try to ask a way to fully charge all the ime... i suppose kernel can manage this !

Usually, it charge in 2-4h and that's too much.
It's ok if you're charging it overnight though.
it charges preety fast when you use chargers with 5V 2.1A output but the battery gets preety hot when you charge it when phone is turned on
2hours tops on custom roms
it's not that fast, on custom roms it's faster! also they could add a faster charger that supports qualcomm's quick charge
Stock 8.1.0 charges from 0% 100% in ~2 hours

Fastest with dash
i heard that this also works with usb power delivery (maybe out of the box or with a custom kernal?) which is good news. an open standard fast charge framework is always a good thing.,
I got 35%---> 80% in 25min ish this morning. powered on, off screen
So fast like sanic
Insane Charging speed even without dash charge
Easy from 40-80% in 20 minutes every time. I rarely every have to let my phone dip past 70
If you plug it into a quick charge 3.0 charger, how much time does it take to charge it fully? thanks

i wouldn't say as quick but quicker. if you want dash charge style speeds you would need a Quick Charge 4+ phone, the razer phone charges as quickly as dash.
Does a QC3 / QC2 charger charge to their spec when charging a 5T?
Nice now I'm interested in buying this phone.........

The OnePlus 5T's charging speeds is astronomical! Check out my screenshot album for approximate charging speeds from 1% to 100%! - OnePlus 5T Dash Charging from 1% to 100% https://imgur.com/gallery/ckT4A
Hi guys,
little comparison with ugreen qck 3.0 charger. It's good, but no chance with dash charge, ~2 times slower. I can't add screenshots, but charging from 17% to 81% last 1h 15 min.
Is it just me ?
Had put my phone on charge on 51%..
After 1hr 10mins screen off it was still on 97%..
Can someone explain is this normal
idle drain about 3 to 4% always.
thats so impressiv... 0-100% in 1 hour...
Ultra fast !!

I used Qualcomm certified xiaomi's quick charger and it charge pretty quickly, from 9% to 50% in 35-45 min. And it take almost one and half hour to charge completely

If you are from India you can buy Xiaomi Qualcomm 3.0 charger from mi app or website. It will cost you around 450 INR, you can also buy from flipkart else you can try any Qualcomm certified 3.0 charger. They are easily available everywhere
i am using Aukey QC3.0 Charger and it take around 1:45 to fully charge itself from 0-100%.
With stock charger (5V 2A) it takes about 100-120 minutos to charge from 30% to 100%. At least the battery life is good.

Read the NOTES in the end of these Post #25.
2 Hrs ...
How to increase batter backup of Redmi Note 6 Pro?
2 hours with standard charger
1 hour and 15 minutes with standard charger. Depending on country i guess.
What's the proper voltage a charger should have for this phone? Mine came with an UK one and I'm looking for an adapter but I was also thinking of simply getting an American one.
