Bike mount - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Accessories

Hello,
Could someone give me an advice for a good fitted bike mount? For gps or sports tracking apps.
I have this one but rubber bands are too short for note 4:
https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-...360-degree-Rotate-p-1047715.html?rmmds=search
I don't care about water protection.
I want something light and secure, and if possible with access to the fingerprint reader or power button.

I own this one: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/Bike...32589970167.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.mKIOh8
I'm using it on my motorbike and my bike, but you cant access fingerprint with it. Power button should be possible.

Disable screen-off by magnet?

Has anyone been able to/willing to figure out a way to disable the whole screen-off by magnet thing? I've been using a magnet mount in my car, and everything works great except that if placed just a bit off, the screen will turn off. Turning the screen on doesn't help because it will turn right back off again as soon as you swipe away the lock screen. As soon as I remove my phone from the holder (or even just slide it up/down a bit) it will stop doing it. I can't really move the plate the magnet attaches to, because then it would interfere with wireless charging. I've seen solutions for other devices, but not the N6. Thanks.
following! i have the same issue with my magicmount.

where have you put your "plate" on your phone? do you use wireless charging at all?
I don't use wireless charging. It was for a magnetic mount in my car. I had my plate attached to the spigen slim case and I placed it about an inch below the Motorola logo, my phone kept locking and wouldn't unlock as long as I had the plate there and attached to the magnetic mount. I ended up having to move it up and cover about half the Motorola logo and it works fine, but I find that aesthetically unpleasant.
Therefore I'm hoping someone has a solution so i can lower the plate to where it was before.
Would also like a fix for this. Use a magnetic phone holder too. If I get it in a sweet spot then I'm OK but any movement or mount it just off screen is off and can't get it back on. Like a tasker to disable this would be perfect!

Till now I could not find a software solution to disable the magnet sensor.
In my car there is a strong neodymium magnet. Fixed with double sided tape. Diameter about 20 mm.
On the back of my N6 is a hard case with a small metal piece fixed on the outside with superglue.
When the metal is mounted on the lower part (about 1 cm below the M-logo) the magnet sensor is not activated
When there is metal on the back, wireless charging is not possible. The metal will be very hot and may cause damage.

[Q] Magnetic car mount causes screen to turn off

I have the Logitech [+] drive magnetic mount in my truck. When I attach the Nexus 6 to the mount, the screen turns off. If I try to turn the screen on while the phone is magnetically attached to the mount, the screen will immediately turn off. As soon as I remove the phone from the mount, the screen will come on. Does anybody know if there is a setting that controls this behavior or any kind of work around (i.e. Tasker, etc) so the screen will stay on when attached to the mount? I would like to use the phone for navigation, but that is obviously out of the question unless I use a non-magnetic mount or just leave the phone loose in the console, which neither option is preferable to the ease of the magnetic mount. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
No solutions so far at the moment. But keep an eye on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/magnet-screen-off-t2968380
where (on the back of the phone) do you have the metal plate placed?
above or below the motorola M? or over top of it?
also, does the metal plate lay flat on the back? or are you using it along with a case?

Review: CHOETECH Emergency Waterproof Flashlight+5200mAh Rechargeable Power Bank

Hey guys, here is my review of the CHOETECH Emergency Waterproof Flashlight+5200mAh Rechargeable Power Bank. I've found it to not only be a great portable charger for our beloved Note 5, but a useful tool on the road.
It all starts with the build quality. This product feels very substantial and solid in the hand. The ergonomics of it are great and it has a nice heft to it without being too heavy. It's a perfect balance.
The functionality of this product is broad and hits a lot of important areas. This would be the perfect companion to keep in your car, which I think it is built for. First off, it's waterproof. That can definitely come in handy if you are stuck on the side of the road on a rainy day and you have to check something out or fix something on your car. Then you also have a couple of nice emergency features built in. If you unhinge the rubber cap on the bottom of the tool, it will reveal a metal spike to break a window. If you ever find yourself in a bad accident that cripples your car where you can't get out, you can use that to break a window and escape. The other emergency feature is also built in near the bottom of the tool, and that would be a seat belt cutter. Same as above, if you ever find yourself in a bad accident and can't get your seat belt off, you can use this part of the tool to cut through your seat belt. For obvious reasons, I haven't tested either of these functions personally. But they both seem to be designed to do exactly what they say they will.
As for the rest of the tool, the flashlight is one of the main attractions. After all, the overall tool is in the shape of a flashlight and includes one. Let me tell you, the flashlight is a win! It is more than bright and does an excellent job of casting light. If you aren't into reading user manuals, here is a quick breakdown. Please keep in mind that quick pressing the power button once won't turn on the flashlight. You have to press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The flashlight will then turn on. There are 3 different light strengths. When you first turn it on, it will be on the "Weak" setting (pictured in my photo). Press it one more time and it will be on the "Medium" setting. Press it one more time and it will finally be on the "Strong" setting. And just to be clear, the "Strong" setting is very bright! So you basically have a setting for any situation that you might be in. There is also a flashing "SOS" setting on the flashlight. For that, simply press the power button twice in a row and it will start blinking. To turn that mode off, just press the power button twice in a row again.
The other main attraction, which will possibly be used the most, is the phone charger feature. For that, simply screw off the cap of the flashlight head and it will reveal that feature of the tool. It is pretty standard fare here....Micro USB Input, USB Output and charging indicator LED's. This product includes a micro USB cable, so you are ready to charge most phones out of the box. Of course, you will have to charge the tool using a USB cable before you can start charging a phone with the Micro USB cable. I won't get into too much detail about that since most people already know how to do that part. This part of the tool functions as you would expect. It does a great job and no issues to report.
That about wraps it up. In conclusion, this is a very nice tool which is also very functional. It goes well beyond just a normal external phone charger. It has many functions, and some that may very well save you in an adverse situation. This tool gets a very solid recommendation from me.

Axon M lock the double screen mode

Hi!
I know is not a new phone but I just bought a really cheap sealed axon m, everything works perfectly except for the dual and extended mode, the keys on the M bar are grey and I can only use the AA mirror mode, I read online about people using magnets to make it work and I tried, it does, but it's kinda annoying having to carry a magnet for the phone, is there a way to lock the dual mode so it's always on when I unlock the device like the AA mode?
Or is there a way to make the phone believe that it's always unfolded so it let me use the other modes?
Thank you!
Get a super thin 1mm neodymium magnet and place in the back in the dished out area using double sided tape. Play around with location and polarity to enable. 1mm allows the phone to still fold.

Good mount with dual screen? Maybe even wireless charging?

I was thinking of getting a mount that allows me to mount when in dual screen. Maybe even use while in dual screen.
One possibility was a mount for a tablet.
Maybe this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00585CLR2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
I haven't found a mount for a tablet that also has wireless charging.
It is useful to be able to use dual screen, but my main reason is that I don't what to take the phone in an out of the case because of reports of charging port failing.
UPDATE: I did get the mount above, and it works very well. I can mount with the dual screen (or without), while screen is open, both in landscape and portrait. The phone sits quite sturdy. And, no problem to connect power. It is nice to have navigation on one screen, and music/podcast on the other.

This is the one I have. I put the main phone in it and open the dual to the side. Works fine.
You are right. When the dual screen is 180 degrees open, there's still enough room to latch on. Worked today with my regular phone holder. Not amazingly stable, though.
Mine is pretty tight. So not much different for me.
would anyone try a velcro mount??
so the back of the dual screen case would have a permanent velcro thin pad silicone on, glued on, the more expensive baby version of the velcro strips, that is super soft, the hooks side will be on the car mount.
this way both screens can be on, like maps wide view.
not sure how many strips will be safe enough and probably would look super ugly but functional
Nah. My existing mount works fine
any chance you can show pics of the phone grip from the side or back? im just thinking with all the glass, one bump and drop and its cracks everywhere
Using my regular mount, phone isn't very secure. Works in a pinch.
The mount mentioned above works very well.
The one I bought on Amazon isn't available any more, but it was like the one below. It grips the side and still lets the screen open like others said. not great, but OK. Only came out once. Not sure if I can get a photo of it sitting in the case, but i'll see.
