Am I the only one getting paused downloads when I download from phone? Even keeping phone awake, download get paused after ~ 80% , resume ain't helping. Using Chrome.

You can try another browser like firefox.
When it works wipe chrome data or reinstall ist
and try it a second time. My chrome download
it to 100%
There is also two new options in Camera:

I don't want to be too meticulous but... what UI changes and improvements? Overall battery tweaks or just an extra option in in-game battery saver about dimming the screen?
Because, to be honest, I haven't noticed any UI change and the battery life seems to be pretty much the same.

With UI Changes i mean Miniview and Faceunlock Feature. Batterysaving mode etc were optimized
I get a system error when i flash this on twrp ?! but it does boot and i do get the july security patch so ?! a bit confused !

I see it now， but the first time I read this thread, the patch level still empty.
10l was/is for EU Open only. So I couldn't imagine, that 10n is an equivalent for the older one.

Look in to your build.prop and search for this lines: ro.product.model = LG-H870
ro.product.brand = lge
ro.product.name = lucye_global_com
ro.product.device = Lucye.
If they are identical with yours, it should be possible.
Don't forget, do a full backup of your system data etc.

So if I extracted just the kdz from the zip I guess I can't flash it to my unrooted G6 using LGUP?

I do not have a US997 so i can not test any modifications. the next thing this is a 100% stock rom with one
modification to keep twrp. For any custom modifications please wait for a dev with this phone.

Corrupt zip
Trying to flash this with twrp and i get an error: "Zip file is corrupt!" and it fails. The MD5 is correct, and all of the file is copied there
Edit: Solved the problem with doing a wipe before flashing, my bad!

Kdz are uploaded
Hey can someone help me out. I am new to this device, when I install this rom (full wipe,full data wipe), I keep with getting a Google FC after strong everything up. I have SuperSu installed, 2.82R3. could that be the reason for the Google FC?
I have a stock unlocked US997

figured it out. Magisk 14.0 is the far better root solution with this rom. I am not exactly sure why, but hey for those interested, give Magisk a try.

You can not install an offical OTA with a custom recovery. But yes, you can safe your phone with one of this ROMs (I recomend EU 10T for recovery operations).

i have downloaded it in my H870 ITC but i can't install it because i have custom recovery
Do you have the original boot.img? I would like to try the Magisk boot image patch install method so I can keep the original recovery image so I can get official OTAs more easily.

If you dirty flash it yes, mind to make a backup just in case of problems that may occur

I guess it should be safe to replace the TWRP recovery with the official one after Magisk is installed, right?

Why it isn't safe if it's systemlessly rooted? Also I can always install TWRP when/if I need it.

It's not safe because it's possible that the OTA could mess around with other partitions too, i don't reccomand it, do whatever you want, i don't do OTAs since G2 in 2014, i've always made a clean install of the entire firmware to avoid any problems due to the update.

Bro @JamFlux im sharing my noob knowledge on mi a1 partiton system.
Bro our mi a1 have skip_initfs on kernel side.
Ab partiton use initfs or ramdisk from system partition intead of boot.img the boot.img ramdisk is only there for recovery only and whole root fs is changed on mia1
And selinux policy also devide into various location on system and boot.img. bro u can see chainfire and topjohn theory how they root ab partiton device they expailed every thing on thier thread "they expailed in pixel thread"
Mi 5x dev able to boot our whole system image and boot.img only changes with ramdisk.

Might give a dirty flash a try. Did you wipe cache/dalvik before flashing and from which rom did you come?

I did a dirty flash, first I wiped cache/dalvik and then I flashed 20B. No problems.

No that wont work, a dirty flash would only work if you had a stock 20A rom. If you want to install this rom, you have to do a clean install. The steps are:
Delete cache/dalvik, system, data and cache
Install the 20B zip
Reboot
(If you want root, also flash Magisk 16.7 beta)

In that case, wait for a stable wifi-connection ? in case you would want to install this rom. It's stable and fast.

From westwood's 20A ROM. I wiped it after installing the 20B zip.
Is there any app/xposed module like G4 TweaksBox or FulmicsTweaks (Fulmics ROM) for stock Oreo? I was Fulmics user for years, so I'm really missing some kind of tweaking app...
