Issue not updating or installing new apps on watch - LG Watch Sport

Even with WiFi, LTE and Bluetooth enabled not able to update or install new apps using Google play store on watch.
Just says downloaded pending and doesn't download anything. Tried for several days on wifi and off.
Should I reset the watch?

I had the same issue the other day. I tried everything I could but ultimately a reset is what fixed it.

Thanks I reset and it fixed. Now LTE is not working with Verizon.

I just started having this issue. LG Watch Sport with build NQF430. This is kinda ridiculous. Can't update or install anything. I really don't want to reset this thing again.

[Q] wifi turns on when screen locks after play store update

Hi all.
Yesterday evening I did a Play Store update via WiFi at a friends and afterwards the WiFi would turn on by itself. I noticed it because I kept getting the connection is unstable message after I manually turned WiFi off. The phone was trying to connect to a neighbor's open network that is just out of range.
This is the second time I've seen this problem and I'm assuming that since both phones were unrooted stock with all the bloatware disabled in app manager that the problem was with one of the 20 plus apps that updated. I uninstalled all the downloaded apps but it had no affect on the problem I went through all the settings for networks and didn't find any changes. What's the chances that one of the apps I downloaded was compromised. It freaked me out so much I hard reset the phone both times. I currently have set the Play Store to manual updates only so I can catch the culprit if it happens again my questions are is there way to view a log of what uses the the WiFi ? And how can I prevent this kind of problem in the future. And has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks much for your time and consideration

Turn by Turn Navigation Cards Not Appearing?

As title says I can't get the navigation cards to appear. They used to work initially on the original LG G Watch but since upgrading to the G Watch R I can't seem to get it to work. I say "OK Google navigate to ..." And it starts the app on my phone just fine but nothing pops up on my wrist. Am I missing something?
Same problem for me. Android 5.0.2. Latest Maps, latest Android Wear.
Same was here..
After i bought my watch it was on Android 4.4, after setup it with the phone it was updated automaticly to 5.0.1 and my navigation doesn't work. But today i've reset my watch and setup up again, and navagitaion works just fine. Maybe after system upgrade of the watch is good to do factory reset to effect of the new android.
Thanks for the reply lostindark, was hoping that would work for me but unfortunately it didn't. Just tried it and it still does the same thing. Just to confirm, you just tapped the reset from the settings menu on the watch right? I did that and it didn't work, then I also cleared the data on the wear app, re-paired the watch and still didn't have any effect Does the same thing mentioned in the OP, works fine on the phone and starts the maps app there but no cards on the watch.
Sorry to heat this, i reset my watch only through settings and notting more but it was worked for me. After the reset and pairing again android wear app put other apps automatically on my watch after that everything works just fine.
Thanks anyways for the suggestion mate, I ended up getting a Nexus 6 today and it is working just fine paired with this phone. Must have been something with my OPO but I have no idea what since it was 100% stock other than root.

G Watch R & HTC one M8 with Lollipop No connection!

I have been using my G Watch R with an HTC One M8 running Kit Kat 4.4.2 quite happily.
I just updated my M8 to Lollipop. I can see the G Watch, and pair with it, but android wear just reports " connecting to your watch" but never connects.
I have done a reset on my G Watch but still no connection
Any help or suggestions please
I had no issues with I updated my M7.
Reboot your M8 and see if that helps. If it does not, try uninstalling the Android Wear app from your M8, reboot and then reinstall.
Using m8 & GWR both on their respective versions of 5.0.1 without any issues whatsoever. This sounds weird... Could it be an issue with the Bluetooth on the m8 maybe? Can you use other BT devices? If not, I'd do a reinstall of the ROM.
I have reinstalled Android wear on My M8 and of course rebooted it and my watch several times.
I can connect with my Macbook and connection share fine via Bluetooth, so I dont think its a ROM problem.
You're running the stock ROM on the watch and phone right?
yes stock rom on phone and watch
I successfully paired and connected my watch with a Nexus 5 running Lollipop, and then after doing another 3 factory resets on the watch it has now successfully connected with my
M8. It appeared to be having problems with wear apps that were previously installed on my phone, so prior to the last attempt I deleted all the wear apps from my phone.
Anyway all good now!
Ya sounds really strange I was able to pair easily with both sense and gpe lollipop Roms without a hitch, just resetting the watch..
I'm having the same problem with my just lollipop-updated Galaxy S5 (Verizon). I've rebooted the watch several times which did not fix the problem. Trying a reset now.
The reset seems to have fixed the problem. Will see if it stays fixed.
Same here
Same problem. Watch connects, works fine for a few days, then won't connect any more. Needs multiple factory resets to get it to reconnect , then start all over again... and still only lasts a few days or a week before the connection fails. Only since lollypop update to my Nexus4. Spoke to LG, they deny the problem.
The problem is not the watch but Lollipop. It doenst matter what kind of mobile you use. Bluetooth on Lollipop is not working well. Not only for watches. Also car radios for example are loosing connection.
Now I am back on 4.4.2 with my Note 3 and everything works fine again. With Lollipop connection was lost too often.
I hope Google knows about the problem.

Just had this happen to me. Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6, Lollipop 5.0.2. Just lost connection with the watch, the watch can't see the phone. The phone sees the watch, but they won't pair. Bizarro. Doing a full reset of the watch, reboot the phone, try again...

Losing Internet (DNS error) after latest QJB update

HI, I've been having Internet/DNS issues ever since the QJB update. The phone will show LTE signal but there is no data flowing and voice calls don't work (no dial tone). Webpages on the phone and connected hotspot PCs will show a DNS error. Toggling data doesn't help. Only restarting the phone will make data work again.
Multiple attempts at factory resetting, provisional resetting, updating profile/prl and flashing the QJB update in ODIN didn't help.
UPDATE: Issue seems to be related to the update. Downgrading firmware is not possible as far as I know (Odin throws an error message). I had to send the phone back to Samsung for repair (took a week), and all they did was send it back with the old software QI5. Now I'm afraid to update the software.
UPDATE2: Voice also does not work. No dial tone.

I thought it was related to the hotspot but it still happened when I was restoring apps right after a factory reset. Multiple attempts at factory resetting, updating profile/prl and flashing the QJB update in ODIN didn't help. I'm afraid getting a replacement phone won't help either.
I am beginning to think it's an app related issue but am not sure. I just did a full wipe and am slowly reinstalling my apps to test and do a process of elimination.
Ever since the update the only other issue I had was with the Samsung Gear app crashing the phone when it connected to my Gear S3 and wants to turn on WiFi while I am using the hotspot (it would make the phone unusable unless I agreed to turn off hotspot to turn on WiFi). for some reason the S3 wants to turn on WiFi even though I disabled all WiFi settings in the Gear app.
Are apps able to cause Internet/DNS problems? Has anybody had this issue? TIA

Profile update? PRL update?
Yes tried those
Experiencing the same issues after Sprint rolled out OTA update 'N950USQU2BQJB' along with slower speeds and lag in apps like YouTube and Hulu.
The most glaring difference for me has been terrible battery life since the update.
Have you noticed anything different with your battery life and on screen time that is out of the usual?
Funny you guys say that. Mine does the same after that update too. If I toggle it to air mode. When I turn it back off it will not establish any network. Will have the x and stuck searching for service. It's about every other day. Mine will show LTE and act like all is good. But no data. Done the profile prl updates. That never fixed the issue either.
Software version
N950USQU2BQJB
I am also having issues after this update. Data stalls and transactions constantly have to be refreshed to get something to load. Does anyone know how to use Odin to roll back to another update before this one?

I may have gotten somewhere by using DNS Manager to utilize openDNS.... Trying it now and waiting for longer use results but so far so good

Is there a way to ODIN back to an earlier update that won't break KNOX?
Ah, so it is related to the update. I thought I was the only one and that my phone was defective.
I tried rolling back in Odin but it gives an error. It's been stated that you can't downgrade the firmware after taking the update.
I sent it back to Samsung for repair and they sent me back a phone with the old software version N950USQU1AQI5. Way to go Samsung for not fixing the problem but covering it up. It was a hassle being without a phone for a week.
Now I know not to take the update. WiFi calling plus was nice but what's the point if your data doesn't work half the time?

Android Auto stopped working

I have a Note 20 Ultra which has been working great since last September on my Hyundai I20N with the same cable and no automatic updates.
Last week it worked great one morning and later on that day it started throwing an error saying the phone is not recognised.
I have updated the car's head unit software, tries several versions of AA, cleared cache and data, switched cables, used a Samsung cable, uninstall and reinstalled, cleared Play Services cache, all short of a phone reset.
Meanwhile, my wife's S20 FE works fine on my car, and mine doesn't work on any car.
Ideas?
Try to delete cache and data of Google Play Services app.

Already tried it. Also removed all updates to Play Services. Still no go...
I'm seriously baffled by this one.
Also tried connecting my Galaxy Tab S6 LTE to my car and it worked flawlessly. Same AA version, same updates, same options on AA... and still my Note won't connect. Reproduce me sideways....
Android auto was working for me less than 24 hours ago. I factory reset my phone and boom my android auto no longer works. Did the whole uninstalling and cache thing and nothing. I am able to get to the welcome to android auto and then when I click it on my head unit, it crashes

Exactly the same as with my Note 20, although I did not do a factory reset. As a matter os fact, between AA working and no longer working, I did nothing on my phone.
But my Tab S6 has all the same software, versions and updates, and it works just fine...
I'm losing my crap, here

I posted my issue on the Google android auto help forum and they sent me to another post similar to our issue. Look like the issue started about a week ago

I saw some stuff about that.
What's weird, though, is that in my case it was working in the morning and stopped on the afternoon of the same day, and I didn't update anything in the meantime. Weird.
Following that previous tip regarding the Google Android Auto help forum, someone suggested something that I tried and actually worked: download and install AA version 8.0.623314 and that's it, it seems to solve the issues.
