Hi, i've a problem when i want to download with my data 4G+ a file >2go.
Chrome, firefox, and all browser suspend the download at 2go every time, is not the sd card format because when i transfer a file pc to my sd card phone >2go its work!
The problem its only when i want to direct download to my phone, ive trying tethering with my pc and its work!
Its look like there are a restriction android or emui but ive look and there arent restriction active.
If someane can help me or have an idea?

you mean 2GB files? i downloaded 2,89gb file from mega using chrome and it worked

when I use my Diamond's 4GB as storage, seems files copy to the device corrupted. If I copy file using Active Sync explorer mode don't have this problem. Do any experience same??

Hmm I would make a backup of your HDD , then format it .. reload and see how it works then
Are you ejecting the device before unplugging it in storage mode?

Not for me, I copied 2.3gigs over, few thousand files, and everything was fine
Another person had a similar problem. As suggested, copy everything off your card to your PC, format the internal storage and copy it back.
Or look in the tweaks thread (point 9) for a link to the original content folder.

Me too, seems to work fine...
Hi ive only just used gongerxperia v21b on my w8 the only problem is i can't add a google account on my market it kept saying i cannot connect to google servers aside from that i also cannot access google accounts in my browser i have rock solid internet connection so thats not the problem...its pretty weird that i cannot access google at all with this rom.

goto manage applications and clear data and try again, if problem still persists try the v21 rom
what data will i clear in the apps?i haven't downloaded anything because i cannot access the market obviously,,currently downloading v21,,anyway thanks.
btw if i format my SD card will that delete my back up stock rom in xrecovery?

yes cos its stored on ur card, jus copy the backup folder to ur pc before formatting

I'm running Pacman 4.4.4 RC-1 on my HTC Vivid. The rom works great except I can't get my sd to work correctly. I had a problem with this on another mod as well. I have formatted it through windows (FAT32 default settings) and through the recovery mode, but to no avail. Whenever I connect my usb to the computer it has the option of MTP connection or Mass storage (UMS). If I click mtp it pops up in windows as a media device and won't let me add files it gives me an error that i can't write access. If I select Mass storage the card does not show up at all in windows. I've tried this card alone in windows and it transfers files fine and works. I'm not sure what I need to do to get it work? I need to transfer my calllogs and my messages over to it (have a backup file of these). Can anyone help me?

First, when you boot into recovery and enable the usb, can you transfer files to the computer then?

Since I got off of sense... I haven't had the USB to computer connection working... I never use it though...
On the rare occasion I do... I mount via USB in TWRP recovery... Works 100% for me

I installed TWRP recovery and it allowed me to mount my sd card. I can transfer files to it through the computer when in TWRP. However when it pops up on my computer it says that drive e (im assuming the internal) needs to be formatted should i do this? Wouldn't that erase all the apps on my phone? Even though it lets me transfer files through twrp when i try to do anything involving the sd card in android it gives me errors. I need to transfer my xml files that contain my text messages and call logs through either titanium backup or super backup but they give me errors. I also cannot install any apps to the sd card (error). Hope they helps some. I feel like I'm either missing a step here or doing something wrong.

Well, I would guess that the format would erase all the stuff on there. I had some issues myself which I solved by pretty much nuking my phone's storage completely and re-flashing a ROM. I cannot remember exactly how I did it, but these threads seem promising if you haven't already tried them:

And I would back up everything you can, and then try re-formatting it in windows while in recovery.

When I formatted the internal drive as well it worked correctly. I finally got it working! Thanks everyone I needed TWRP basically. I just found another issue though and it's with not being able to hear my visual voicemails (they work fine without visual) and I have problems with people not hearing me sometimes. Any fix for either? Sorry if I should start another thread for these I can do that.

I can't really help with visual voicemail, as ST doesn't have one I can use. I did fond that setting up google voice as my voicemail provider allowed me to use google voice as a visual voicemail.
The not being able to hear you thing is a fairly common issue, and while I am lucky enough to not have to deal with that on my phone, I believe a temporary fix is to call someone, hang up, then any subsequent calls should be fine.

Got used sprint Htc One M8 32 GB, settings show that phone storage is half full but only 2.7 GB is occupied by apps and everything else is occupied by "other". I have no folders or files in phone storage when I open file manager or connect phone to PC and the worst thing is that I am not able to download, or copy anything there. Would be thankful if you can throw some advices

I had problems with my mobile storage. am unable to download files to my lenovo a7000. I am getting the same problem with my stock rom backup & cm 13 & AICP rom. And now I am using vibe ui lite rom. I am unable to download , save files from internet and apps like whatsapp. Also I am unable to use camera , galary & screenshot feature. Play store is working fine. I am using sandisk 16 GB class 10 sd card. I had tried to insert as internal and as portable. This SD card is working fine on desktop or other mobile phones. I had done USB or wireless file transfer from pc and mobile successfully. Also other sd card is working fine with my phone. Please guide. I have pics / screenshot of the same for your reference. But I don't know how to share with you.

Try doing a clean format with pc.this may happen once you formated it as internal and changed the rom.

What?you still cant write to the SD card even after formatting it with pc?then possibly the card will be damaged or write protected
