Skinomi Tech Skin on the way. - Moto Z2 Force Accessories

I just ordered a carbon fiber Skinomi Tech Skin and got 25% off using a coupon. I've never used a skin before but I got used to the darker color of the At&t model I was using and I hate using a case. Between this and the iqshield I have installed I think I'm set.

I got and installed the tech skin. Overall I'm pleased with how it turned out. It looks good (if you like carbon fiber) and adds a fair amount of grip. Funny thing is, I used to hate carbon fiber. Now covers the three things that are always on me.

Looks so much better!

I'd have to agree. It came with pieces to cover the camera glass and sides but I think that would be a little overkill. More than anything I appreciate the added grip.
And for anyone who is wondering, Moto mods work just fine with this installed. I've tested the JBL and power pack. The skin is actually thinner than the iqsheild I have on the screen.
If you hate cases and want to keep your phone from getting scratched up I can confidently recommend this, especially for 12 bucks.

Just ordered the dark red wood skin from skinomi, will post pics once it arrives. Was shipping relatively quick?

I would say reasonable. I ordered the 3rd and got it the 9th. I guess I've just been spoiled by Amazon prime.

That sad moment when you get a tracking number, and now you gotta wait, and stalk the delivery update page . Lol

So I'm really fighting the urge to take off the skin. There's nothing wrong with it. It improves the grip, and I did a pretty perfect install, buuuut... I just really like my phone naked.

Man looks good but I'd love to see bigger pics of it
Hey looks awesome. Got the same one. Only diff is I got mine from Skinome. Love it.

Is it a thick case like thing? Or is it more of a scratch proof film?
Looks preety nice though, how much did it run?
Got the exact same skin. Ireally like it that i had to reorder it when i got my phone replaced.
Installation tips. Leave the tiny bubbles alone. Theyll go away after a while. Dont be over zealous with pushing them out. To much preasure during the installation causes stretchmarks to appear on the film. Thats about my only critique of the thing.
Once its all set up... its perfect.
@caiaphas
Its a non-scratch film for the screen and non-scratch sticker for the rest. So it doest add match to the size of you device.
Phantom also sells the the full film kit for both body+screen. I do really like the look of the carbon-fiber body stickers.
Just go with the black though, dont be tempted with the white.... it might look good in theory but unless your phone is actually white, its not gonna look good
i dont need a signature
here is a larger of one of them. Looks good to me!
Thin cover. Stick on film. $29.99

One of the best mods ever done to my Shift. Has kept it protected and looks great. Plus it doesn't make the phone bulkier, like the snap on cases do.

Juppa case

This one seems to offer good protection, a hard shell inside a book style casing. No mention of a magnet.

Arrived early an looked very nice. Applied screen proector (always difficult on big Screens) one of the better protectors I have used, Fitted Nexus very well and all charging an buttons accesible. Turns device on an off as you open and close. Very happy with for £5 I paid"
Bit annoying that he only paid £5 for it when they're now £12 but even at that it's not a bad price.
It just seems like another of a million already available cases. All these dealextreme/ebay cases all look the same to me, and a case is a case, they're all plastic, and they will prevent scratching the screen, that's about it.
I've fallen for this one

Does this mean you already have that case? If so, what do you think of the pleather quality wise?

I posted the original link because I saw a case that took two properties of common cases that are not found together anywhere else, the book style cover enclosing the hard plastic shell. It's too bulky for my use but that doesn't mean it's not going to appeal to someone else, it deserved a link for that reason.

Best affordable handmade sleeve

I just wanted to recommend a product I just received today. Go check out her etsy store. You can get handmade sleeves for just about any device and if your device isn't there, just let her know what you want and she'll make it for you. This sleeve is made with a durable dark denim material on the outside and a stylish, soft colored interior fabric. Well-made and incredibly cheap. I got mine for just $16 + $5.50 shipping. She is based in Latvia so it takes a week or two to get to you but it is well worth the wait. For those of you who are going naked (no case on the Nexus), I highly recommend this seller's product. Even her packaging is well thought out and well designed.

Anyway, there's the link. And no, I am in no way affiliated with this seller.

How tight is it? Could I fit my N7 inside my Poetic case?

Those look really nice, actually. Though I usually don't go for just cloth cases.

No, but you could measure how much extra thickness and width it adds to your tab and send her a custom request. I don't think it costs any extra.. but don't quote me on that. My naked Nexus 7 slides easily, just perfectly, into the sleeve. With my thin incipio hardshell case it was a bit difficult to slide it, though possible. It also has to do with the slightly rubberized texture of the incipio case though.
And yeah, the case is just cloth with some soft fluffy batting inside for some padding. It is actually surprisingly durable, though from a 5 foot fall straight onto the corner of the tab, I'm not sure how much protection it will offer. Though, the corners are probably the best padded part. For throwing in a book bag it's pretty perfect.

Black Carbon Fiber Exoskin With Pictures

I bought the black carbon fiber exoshield skin for the Verizon LG G2. It cost a total of $17.79 shipped to me. The material is 3M carbon fiber, and the texture itself feels like good quality. Unfortunately it doesn't do anything to add grip to the phone, and I might even say that it actually feels a little more likely to slip out of my hand than the stock back. The skin itself is pretty easy to apply as the material allows multiple attempts to line it up perfectly and I feel like I have lined it up as perfectly as I possibly can. There is also a part that goes on the front which I chose not to put on. Unfortunately, it seems like there is just no way to line up and adhere the corners satisfactorily, it just seems impossible the edges stick up. Visually I am not really that picky, however every time I hold the phone, I can physically feel the corner edges of the skin against my hand, which bugs the crap out of me. Now I have heard that a blow dryer may help, so I will try to to get ahold of one to see if it helps, I will update if I see an improvement. As it is now at $18, I cannot recommend this skin unless you know that you wouldn't be bothered by this. I would however highly recommend the dizitronic case (which I also have) if you want some very good looking protection for your G2.
TL/DR I wouldn't recommend this skin because the back corners are extremely difficult, if not impossible to adhere and line up properly, the phone feels more slippery, it doesn't really offer much protection and its pretty expensive.
Note: the corners in Pictures 2 and 4, it looks like there's just no way to physically line them up, because the end material is rounded

Poco X3 Skins

Hello,
I just want to share my experiance with you.
I've always been a skin person, but usually went for Dbrand or Slickwraps.. this time around, I've contacted XtremeSkins.. man, best decision I've made in a long time.
1. They respond really really fast,
2. They are polite,
3. Their products are better quality then Dbrand or Slickwraps (I'm not joking, I don't know what kind of foile do they use, but it is far greater quality.)
4. Installation is easy, they do have how-to videos on their YouTube site
5. Durability is great.. been using my phone with just a skin for over a month now, the skin holds up perfectly.
6. If you live in Europe, the shipping is like 3 times faster than Dbrand or Slickwraps, mine came in 4 days!!
7. Installation is easy, for some reason as the material is tougher than Slickwraps or Dbrand, it helps..

I am in any way shape of form paid for that, I'm just sharing what I belive is the best for us!
Here is the link: https://www.xtremeskins.co.uk/products/xiaomi-pocophone-x3-skins they have bunch of other skins too. I've ordered one skin for my Bose 700 headphones too, it looks great..
Thanks for the info. Will probably order one.
Just one thing... What option do I have to chose to have it cover the Poco Logo?
So far every option I tried showed it with the "Accent" visible.
I orederd the red carbon one. I wrote it in the Order notes when buying and they made it without the logo. Really easy to install as well and got 10% off for ordering first time. Thanks for the tip.
That actually looks very nice, I ordered the Black Carbon skin.
And now I regret taking the cobalt blue one, because the red carbon fiber one looks so good on the grey one
And do you all feel like they really protect the phone?
The black carbon one looks great, and I'm tempted. But I can't find any info at their page on the protective qualities. Can I really forgo using the case that was delivered with the phone?
