I used SP flash tool (format whole flash button). now the phone is hard bricked. not taking charge, didn't power on and it's like a dead phone. For unbricking, the stock rom is needed.

Few things your device doesn't have after formatting whole flash.
no preloader in bootloader partition.
no partition table exist in this state.
no nvram/nvdata means no IMEI, no working network, no working wifi etc etc.
one more question !
is it detected by pc or not ?
my view on stock rom requirement is pretty useless. The reason behind this, if someone give you the whole firmware package (it is possible to extract the whole firmware) but they won't give you their device nvram data. After recovering, it has no radio signal merely a music player and nothing else.
It is better to sent your device to the service center.
I also unable to restore firmware through Sp flash tool. The whole firmware dumped with miracle tool and only miracle tool flashable but it gives some strange error "Error 1: no 5A" after this error firmware installation stopped. Another way i found is to flash whole firmware through fastboot tool. Your device must have bootloader in bootloader partition and partition table along with this nvram data required too.
Hope this helps !

It's a known issue with some device models. The device reports it's unlocked but in reality it isn't. Perform the normal unlock steps to unlock your boot loader despite it reports it unlocked.

So you can't even start your device i.e. it doesn't even reaches the pre-boot screen (the Honor logo). You should have never ever flashed fastboot image. If your device reaches Honor logo, then bootloader is fine and fastboot should work but if that isn't the case, you have screwed it up big time. Still do reply back, we'll see what we can do

jtag Box needs to be coupled with Bootloader flashing tool and the necessary bootloader files. Since none of them are available, you are in a pretty hard spot.

No my bro.it's Dead.you should change your mobile mother board with another honor 4x(it's expensive) or you should find a programed EMMC that exactly is for che-tl00h(almost hard to find for this model) or sell your hard bricked phone(best way like my way). Of course you can find your dump files and give them to a technician for flashing on a unprogramed EMMC,but I know you can not find dump files for this model easily.
This is a real experience for focusing on model of the phone that we purchase for next shopping.
We should just buy a Global released model, not a china model.

flash no-verity zip file in order to boot in system.
or disable this feature manually.
unpack boot image.
within ramdisk folder search for this file recovery.fstab
in /system remove ",verity" it looks like this " MOUNT FLAG /system wait, verify"
remove " ,verify "
save < repack < install with fastboot.
I need to flash that file..pls provide a link

Imei can't be lost by formatting data, system and internal. It lost by rom that you flashed.
Which rom that was?
Use ToolHero (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileuncle.toolhero.lite&hl=en).
i have got the same problem recently then i flashed stock rom with SP TOOL and then again re insalled twrp then my custom rom this will resolve the imei lost issue

what's the solution ?
just flash the stock ROM , You'll be forgiven
Use chamelophone
simple step to recover imei
Just follow the steps ( sim card must be inserted). I had the same problem and searched solution more 24hrs, no chamelephone solution worked , mtk tools etc etc none!!
And at last I saw a Chinese forum (now I don't have the link extremely sorry need to search)
To resolve this
1. You should root your device only stock ROM(fresh) not custom ROM
2. Use zarchiver or any root file browser (I used zarchiver)
3. Now go to root(system directory) set permission to rw from ro. Means (read n write, read only)
4. Goto system (root/system directory),then data, then nvram
5. That's all just delete the nvram folder (don't worry nothing happened to when I deleted )
6. Reboot then don't touch your device until network signal comes
I too felt that It would be a bad solution or he was kidding.
BUT IT WORKED
I can't give full guarantee to work but try dude, if I didn't tried I would trashed my mobile. Thank you

Is it possible to get a rom from you with a NVRAM re-write?
My problem is that for more than an year now my phone is dead with BaseBand Unknown.
I can't do anything since the phone won't connect to MAUI META which would be the only possible solution to re-write a new NVRAM.

My problem is that for more than an year now my phone is dead with BaseBand Unknown.
I can't do anything since the phone won't connect to MAUI META which would be the only possible solution to re-write a new NVRAM.
Can you help me?

If you problem is not like mine, where the baseband is totally screwed, you just need to install the required windows drivers, and get Maui Meta to write a new baseband on the phone.
That will solve your problem.
Mine is a bit more complicated, where the Maui Meta won't detect the phone. I believe only writing the nvram with a special box to fix it. So basically my phone is screwed.

MAUI meta won't detect my phone. Tried restoring stock rom & custom rom, SN Writer, MTK droid tools but no luck at all. I'm still stuck with unknown baseband now.
Any ideas how I can get back my baseband?

I believe the only way is to use one of those machines from China to write direct to the memory. Unfortunately i have the sane issue and i tried everything for the last year. It just won't work.

"Trying to flash" , what exactly did you flash ?
How do you flash it ?
Why dont you flash TWRP followed by ROM of any choice ?
NV normally contained in EFS partition, which can be backed up and flash from TWRP and QPST.
But again, your description is far from clear for us to help you.

When you flash using TWRP, did you actually managed to boot into system ? Or it stuck in recovery ?
Where did the nv corrupted notification appear when u were using TWRP ?
Prior to facing this issue, what you actually did ? I mean, did this phone work before ? Before you start getting this error, what you did, what you install, what you flash, what you delete ? Or did it just suddenly happen with nothing modified ?

You gonna need to ask someone to backup their QCN, take out the imei info, give it to you, and flash it using QPST.

Is it possible to give me a hand?

This is absolutely not a issue, that requires using Qpst
You simply need to wipe data and follow the on screen prompts. (You will lose all data on your phone.) However the phone will work again.

Sorry that you are having these issues, But my comment was based on the photo that was posted on the OP. Typically formatting is the resolution. If you no longer have that screen available, you should contact an authorised repair center to fix it for you.
Otherwise If the phone is bound to your account, you could try what is listed here: https://www.mobilerdx.com/2019/02/xiaomi-mi-8-test-point-boot-xiaomi-mi-8-into-edl-9008-mode.html
Scams or Actual Fixes?
I have recently read about supposed hacks that according to a couple of Chinese BBS sites, has worked for some that require buying a specialised Jtag programming tool which cost about $60, that you use along with altered versions of following files: prog_emmc_firehose_8909.mbn.elf, mi8 persist image, rawprogram0, frp and a patch file. All of which that can all be obtained from here: https://romprovider.com/2019/09/mi-account-remove-xiaomi/ ( UMT Download)
Supposedly Chimera is another option: https://chimeratool.com/en/docs Again I have not used any of these tools with the mi8, I am merely sharing what I read about recently.
By the time you have spent the money acquiring the tools, it seems that you are better off just mailing the phone off to be repaired by an official repair center. Here is a web page that provides a list of official repair centers : https://www.pinoytechnoguide.com/2014/06/xiaomi-service-centers.html
Good Luck and try anything mentioned above at your own risk.
Edit: Have you tried the Flashall.bat method?
That should work since you are seeing the com port.

Hello, thank you for your answer, the mother is not linked to my account I disconnected to do the experiments. in my country i don't have a xiaomi assistance center, i get the error missmatching image and device.
There is no other way to unbrick without buying these tools so expensive that you mentioned

You need backup EFS and Modem via TWRP first(better with OrangeFox). After you need Magisk first and some manipulation with QCN file via QPST. I will write it later
