1)Make a backup before try it.
2)I've made this theme and tested,on stock debloated rom by @sandy108.
3)If you come from a custom rom (like Los or others), and flash the stock debloated rom, install my theme after the first boot.

Awesome job mate... I'll test it's stability and maybe add these files in deoxded ROM if you're ok will it...

Thanks to you for the rom,yes would be a plasure.

This is awesome! Thank you very much.

This looks cool. However you did this then maybe it's possible for other themes (or colors) on stock?

Thanks, yes if for colors you mean, change the blue for another color, yes i can make very easy, but if you mean change mutch more colors, like the background, there are a limitations, there are some things which not possible to change,Motorola's firmware is mutch more customized of what it looks like.

I couldn't get it to work. But that's probably because I didn't notice it was for the stock debloated rom that's floating around here and tried to flash it on my stock 137-35-5 rom. I couldnt get VOLTE to work on that rom last time I flashed it for whatever reason .

Probably the theme don't work in stock rom because the stock rom is odexed, for voLTE i don't know if it works on stock debloated rom, because in Italy voLTE technology don't exist.

I tried to install this on debloated stockrom by franco28. Which is based on stock 7.0 April 2018 patch. The phone would keep crashing and screen would keep flickering. Is there maybe a way to fix this? It might not be sandy's rom, but I though it might work because its almost the same rom. Or are you done with this theme, because it still looks amazing. Just wondering

Hey, Can anyone port this theme? It looks amazing and I think it would be a great addition to the Captivate roms
P.S I already tried flashing it on a few captivate roms and it just caused force closes, but if anyone know hows to fix that, please do tell!
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!: lol, You can flash the latest versions of the theme without issue now

Actually it's just a theme
oh crap my fault missed the important part, but why does the screen shots look so different, that looks like more than just a theme
Tried it this morning on Serendipity assuming it'd work since it's a JPY based ROM but it did the whole vibrate bootloop a few seconds after the first boot. Luckily I had a revert zip made

Lol yeah I know, but it is just a theme, I found on the page before the last that there was someone who replied to someone else who posted a fixed version of the theme zip, only thing you gotta do is change the lock screen from stock android lockscreen to another one.

Oh thank you!!
A little laggy on Serendipity, I think, but it is working without any serious problems. (Serendipity 5.10)
Also, the version of LauncherPro supplied is junk, it doesn't save any settings you input when the phone restarts. Kept the icons but the themed apps couldn't be kept.
would this work with cognition
works great on serendipity, loses haptic feedback on home key, no lag for me, try a different kernel. Love this theme, awesome!!
Works for me on Serendipity 5.10. Also lost home button haptic feedback, but that's not a big deal for me. Looks fantastic, definitely a keeper. Agree that the Launcher Pro that it comes with is crap, but I use ADW and it's working great with it. Definitely a keeper.

I had a similar issue yesterday and the fix was to delete LP's database:
/dbdata/databases/com.fede.launcher
This theme looks AWESOME and seems to run well on FireFly 2.2.
Edit: I wanted to revert to firefly stock and re aply this theme but it boot looped and I could not recover so I just flashed the rom again. May not work well I guess.
is it possible to revert this theme if we want to go back to original look?

All ROM's have a different "original look." So to go back you would just have to get the theme files from the dev who made your ROM, or just flash it again.

No. Cognition is based off the Rogers Official 2.2 release using the JL1 framework.
home haptic fix
I'm trying to get the home haptic to work on this mod as per mikeymike's instructions but the .zip will not flash. Gonna ask around and find some help on learning this.
A few things I've noticed with this: Home haptic not working (previously stated already) and the button backlight on touch problem is back. Using Keep the Lights On again for it though.
Also, think anyone can work on theming the lockscreen?

Seriously, what rom are you guys using? Im using Pauls FR4, but geting nothing but bootloops and crashes D: I am a ad-free member though, so i removed a couple of files when i baked the rom, but not anything i can imagine would impact this.

I'm using Pauls Pre-bake. Worked the first time for me but I did it in the most round about way ever! Probably due to me flashing the ROM and theme before my morning coffee..
I doubt any of the sequence I did played a part in getting it to work..but here goes
1) Titanium backed up my user apps
2) Booted into recovery, did a full wipe and flashed Paul's pre-baked R4 ROM.
3)Booted back into the phone, changed the date/time to the correct one, and pulled titanium backup from the market.
4)Did a titanium restore(only user apps)
5)Noted everything was working fine with the new ROM and rebooted into recovery again (to flash the theme)
6) Now here;s the doozy, intending to flash the theme I flashed Pauls rom again!
7)Had to wait for the ROM flash to finish and flashed the theme immediately after.
8) booted back into the phone and everything worked.
I seriously doubt you have to do it the way I did for it to work, but i figured I should included my flashing steps just in case you wanted to know

Strange !
With Desire HD so many Stuff installed via CWM, never get a Bootloop.
Here with r4 and P990 i got many.
- battery percentage installed, loop.
- theme installed, loop.
Using r4.
Any Ideas ?
Best regards.
Sascha
The simple error
after trying 500 times to get the theme to work, i found the error, there are missing a _ in the zipfile.
Doc_Themev.0.2 change it to Doc_Theme_v.0.2, and it works like a charm.
Reporting to say it still works with r5.. but not sure what I lost from r5 because I flashed it

[Q] need help with themes and boot

I'm a noob to flashing and roms, but i am rooted and running the evil fascination rom. first theme i put on was nitro's honeycomb. i have flashed probably 8 or themes since then, and i always wipe cache and delvik before each one. My issue is the past 3 themes i have flashed on there, some of the icons are no longer changing, such as youtube, camera, and gallery for some. they are stuck as icons from cyanbread. how can i get this fixed? And also since the first honeycomb theme, my power off screen shows current theme animation, then shows the honeycomb animation. how can i get the honeycomb screen off? Thanks for your help and advice.
Sometimes when flashing themes over other themes some of the old theme stays so the best to do is when flashing a new theme I found is best to reflash the rom then the new theme. This will make sure the old theme is no longer there.

wipe cache
in advanced wipe dalvik

then repeat with compatible theme of your choice
You should make a nandroid backup... just in case. That way if you ever mess up or something goes wrong, you can always go back to a good setup you had before.
got it done. Thanks guys, it helped a ton.
Actually, just tried rebooting. my icons are fixed but my shut down screen now goes from my themes, to the evil fascinations lol. so i still have 2 boot downs

To learn the differences just read the two threads....The Comm ROM is for me a better performing ROM with more options as he said and a full Gingerbread theme built in....no need to flash an external theme unless you want a completely different look...
Speed and battery are similar depending on your usage etc....its more subjective as far as that goes because every user experiences differences in performance...
To change Roms you can simply flash in recovery after making a backup, wiping is optional but you may experience issues if you do not do a full wipe...at the least you want to wipe cache and dalvik cache in advanced option per CWMR and you can use Titanium Backup to backup your apps/data prior to wiping

well it has nothing to do with the theme and LPro is def a good launcher to run....in COMM ROM there are setting in TSM settings that allow you to turn off auto rotate for the Launcher2 thats included as well as in settings/display on the phone itself....
Kendall you might be new but you will learn fast and you are getting answers from 2 very smart people nitsuj & tapout. You will just have to flash different Roms to see which you like better. Both Comrom and EF are great Roms but basically to each their own and also you might find your battery is better with one or the other. Just keep asking questions and you will before you know it have a better handle on all this. I read these pages everyday and i ask questions. Now i want to learn to theme, even just to make my phone the way i want. Have fun and be glad you are getting answers from these amazing people.

[Mod][4.1.2] AOSP Locksceen Toggle for TW Roms

I made an AOSP Lockscreen Toggle Made for the Note II and ported it over to the Note 10.1.
Let me know how it goes for you and I will try to work out any bugs and any mods I make for the Note II I will try to add to this as well if possible.
You need to flash both files for it to work. and don't forget to Backup.
Reserved
Works
It works, I just wish that we can edit function on the lock Screen, instead of being confined to unlock, Camera, and google .
a. addition to Our great device anyway ,
Thank you very much

Once I perform a nandroid, I will flash these
After testing this for awhile on Resurrection Rom, I can say that it freezes my tablet 40% of the time, so I disable it. I use HOLO lock screen now to mimic AOSP lock screen.
Not working on Dr. Akrim's v8 rom (4.1.2)
Still get the water effect after flashing both these files in recovery.
Guess this was not for 4.1.2, right?
Thanks anyway
EDIT:.....hmm, the OP does say it's for 4.1.2 - well, I could not get it to work in Dr. Akrim's v8 ROM

I flashed this running on N8013-UEUCMA3-ARCMA3-XAR-deodexed ROM
After I flashed it, I'm getting some weird things like
Manage Accounts have "Push Subscriptions" instead of Gmail syncing
When changing fonts its says "More Fonts" for setting the fonts
I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue
is there a certain order that these zips need to be flashed in? Do I have to reboot after each flash or can I flash both at the same time?
I really like this MOD, seems I don't know how to acurately unlock using the stock unlock method haha
EDIT:
Wiped, clean flashed the rom, checked and everything was good
Flashed the AOSP Lockscreen MOD and everything I mented before was broken
I also have this MOD installed N8013UEUCMA3-UnlimitedAppsMod just to let you know
Thank you in advance for letting me know if this is a me problem or a bug with this mod...
Any chance of getting this ported for XXCMC5?
Unlocking is not working. Im on ARHD rom. Weird.

I just want a clean stock rom

Iv been using several different roms in the last year. But none seem to work properly. So my phone is rooted etc.
I just want a clean stock rom without anything that is not necessay, not a rom that wants my Z1 to pretend to be an Z3. And not stock filled with crap.
What rom do you guys recommend me to get? A small guide would be good. i just want a stable phone that is working.
Thank you guys!

My recommendation (And what I'm using):
