P10 (lite) Log settings - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

Hey!
I'm running into a problem when trying to enable log settings on my Huawei P10 lite. After entering the "Project Menu" via *#*#2846579#*#* and enabling all 3 log settings (AP, charge and sleep log) logs work normally. However, after rebooting my device, logs are disabled again. Same happen with the "USB debugging" option in the developer settings.
Did anybody encounter a similar problem and has a solution to this?

I'm having the same issue with a P10 lite. Did you manage to resolve it?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately not
I think it's not that bad since i don't reboot my phone that often. Still, a permanent solution would be nice...

OEM Toggle is shown but can't be toggled; phone unable to go into download mode.

Hello XDA, I hope that you could help me troubleshoot my Note 8 (N950F).
So it's been 7 days and oem unlock toggle has finally appeared.. The only issue is it is greyed out and unselectable.
When I got this device I wasn't able to see developer options by pressing build number (though I got the notification that it was enabled), I was only able to access the setting by downloading an app short cut for it via the play store and on initial launch it said developer options are disabled. But then second launch it worked. Idk if this is significant but maybe the country this is meant for disabled it? Regardless of the sim card being in/out the phone, it is still greyed out. Also, I was able to factory reset the phone through the settings after downloading an OTA (I did this in hopes of developer options being enabled about a week ago.)
I tried to boot into download mode but it seems I can't boot into it (following the steps only lead to a normal reboot, and when I select that option from the stock recovery or through adb, it only boots the phone up normally. I purchased the phone off of swappa, in brand new/like new condition. Any ideas? Thank you for your help.
Edit: added screenshots.

Thanks for the answer! However, I don't think I can flash firmware because I can not go into download mode, which is needed for odin to flash firmware

That's weird I've never seen a Galaxy that can't enter download mode.

Exactly. That's why I'm so concerned.
Have you logout your Samsung Account and Google account?sorry for my poor English.:crying:
Do you use any of the KNOX stuff? Did you do any factory reset?
Can you "clear data" on "settings" app? this would make the "developer option" menu hidden again. Then re-show it by tapping build number numerous time again. Hoping that OEM is now editable.
Hi, could you solve this problem? My Note 8 has the same problem and I have not found any solution :llorando:.
I would appreciate it if you can help me.

You probably want to make sure you're using the system default dialer app - any app other than the default dialer isn't allowed to execute special codes, in general.
If you have installed a different one (like, say, the Google phone app), switch the default back to the Huawei phone app and try the codes again, from the Huawei phone app. A good one to test with is *#*#4636#*#* which should bring up more detailed network information.
Also: you don't need to post this across half a dozen unrelated topics.

Check settings and make sure it's actually set as the default dialer - even if it's the only dialer app, if it's not explicitly selected, the codes can fail to work.

Sorry to bring this thread back to life. But I was fitting a new screen for a friend on his P10. When I realised that none of the codes will work except the *#06#. There is no other dialer installed, I've checked default apps and phone is set to default. Any other ideas why the codes wouldn't work?
Same problem that DonnieDio is having, after changing the screen none of the codes work and my wifi doesnt work unless i am 1 meter from the router
Did you fix your issue with the Dialer? I have the same problem here !

Hisuite unable to connect/detect phone

hi all,
My P20 Pro in under Android Pie
Model: CLT-L29
Installed Hisuite on Windows 10 Home 64-Bit, but unable to detect/connect phone
How to solve this problem ?
Type in settings's search bar : HDB
Hisuite has become trash recently. It literally won't backup your app data even though it advertises it. Useless!
Have done the HDB on phone settings, yet the software could not detect the phone.
What is wrong with Huawei ?

By the looks of it, everything. They are focusing on the ban instead of fixing hisuite.
Try to go in developer options and enable adb (settings - system - about phone - press 6 times on build number)
@The Restless Soul
Strange, just did a test with an app.
Application and data backup with Hisuite.
Uninstalls of the application and data.
App restoration and data with Hisuite.
No problem on my P20 Pro
I would try reinstalling your device driver on your computer.

Question Problem after converting OriginOS to FuntouchOS

Hello there, i followed the Killuminati91's tutorial and converted it sucessfully. I relocked the bootloader and received the OTA update. But there are some problems occured:
After factory reset, and finishing android setup, the AOD and lifting the phone for waking up works perfectly. However, if i reboot the phone, both functions are not working, although i turned it on in settings.
Has anyone the same problem with me and fix it succesfully?
Sorry if my English is not good.
Thanks Killuminati91 for giving us the tutorial.
First off: I would NEVER lock the bootloader after switching firmware, there might be something broken in the long run and you cant fix it. If you still have the option I'd suggest to unlock it immediatly. If the firmware version is too high, maybe try to downgrade and then unlock again - no idea.
If something is not working as it is suposed to I'd always check the sensors that are related to the behaviour first. Maybe something is different in FunTouch.
Open your dialer and dial in *#0011# to open the service menu and test all sensors. If this isnt the right code, just search google for "service menu vivo".
I can not help you as I have no knowledge about these things, but maybe this can point you into the right direction.

Tks for your information. Just research on webiste, the problem is when i disable com.vivo.daemonservice, its will break the screen on. There is a threads confirmed this. So if i need it back, i just enable it again.
