A bit of backstory:
Ordered a Xiaomi Mi 5X (MDE2) from AliExpress. Tried flashing but then found out thru fastboot that I don't have a tiffany bootloader. And the Oxygen bootloader is apparently ported from the MI Max 2.
So I thought: "Why not just flash a Mi Max 2 Rom?" But I'm afraid to brick my phone... Can I flash Mi Max 2 ROMs on an Oxygen Mi 5X? Please help...
Dont even try it.. I already bricked my Mi 5x MDT2 oxygen bootloader. Dont even upgrade or downgrade ur device.

I actually found out that normal tiffany roms work so thats cool.
I kn mi a3 is the global version of the mi cc9 but i want to know if they are the same, like,
Can i flash roms for cc9 in a3 or vice versa
I don't think they're the same. afaik, mi A3 is an android one device. Maybe on the right forum one can find a miui rom provided by developers but i dont' think it would be wise to flash mi cc9 rom on a mi A3 device.
Xiaomi Mi A3 and Xiaomi Mi CC9e are almost same. Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and Xiaomi Mi CC9 are almost same. But CC9 and A3 are very different. Don't try to flash them with another ROM.
