I would have to say the same, no lag. Games run beautifully, and multitasking compared to a couple models back is seamless now.
Pretty soon these devices will be used in every office given to every employee and you will literally just plug into a dock with video output keyboard and mouse. At the end of your day you unplug and take home.

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Moto Z Force can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

Incredible speeds with the stock charger. The 0-80% in 35 minute claim isn't a lie. In fact, it may be a bit conservative.
super fast
Going to regular charging to Quick Charge (samsung) I was impressed. Had to get rid of my Note 7 and went back to Galaxy S5... Slow charge. This Turbo Charge blows it all out of the water!
I'm thoroughly pleased with how insanely quick and easy it is to plug in for a half hour and get through the rest of the day, even with heavy use. As on the Incipio Battery Mod, and you basically never have to freak out over finding an outlet again. It's insanely impressive.
The charge speed on this phone is awesome. Coming from a Turbo 2, which I thought was quick, this thing is amazing.

That sums up how I feel about it too :highfive:

Heat

Some phones are great to take camping because if you play Asphalt 8 long enough, the back warms up to the ideal temperature that can bake bread. Rate this thread to express the extent to which the Nokia 5 stays cool under extended heavy use. A higher rating indicates that even when playing strenuous games for long periods of time, the phone doesn't get uncomfortably warm.

Gets pretty hot while charging.
It's pretty hot but still feel good. I play Sky Force Reloaded while not charging.
Have you guys tried charging it with its own charging dock ?
not as hot as other phones i have owned so heat isn't bad, not enough to worry about anyway.
Pretty warm while charging, but I think it's normal. While using unplugged had no problems at all.
Gets pretty hot while charging (yes, with it's original adapter) especially when the battery is below 20% and you plug it in the charger
Not a good phone if you are trying to roast marshmallows
but i haven't experienced any heat issues. cant even tell the difference between warmth from my hand and warmth from the device

The heating is normal and not a problem. The heat will lose if you're done charging and unplugged the charger.
Recently upgraded to 9.0 and its a bit hotter now during charging and use.
even pops up a warning that i never got on oreo.
What's the performance compared to Oreo? Does it still have ram management issues?

the only heat I have noticed was when I first got the phone and hooked it up to an Anker fast charger(usb-c/usb-c) battery pack. After its first full charge, no heat. stayed relatively cool.
Will update with changes as needed.
I have experienced no warm up or heat at all with my Note 8. This makes me very happy

No heating here I play Crusaders of light all day at work, plugged into the fast charger all day as well, no heating what so ever. Did the same with the galaxy s8
My Note 7 would get almost hot but haven't noticed ant heat on the Note 8 or S8+ while playing games and on the charger.
I have to agree with the previous posters. The Note 8 compared to the Note 7, S7 Edge and S7 has vertually none of the heating issues that the 7 series did.
Heavy use with and without charger plugged in, barely warm.
As the previous posters, I can attest the 7 series phones got hot, very hot after heavy usage. I saw a YouTube video of the Note 8 being torn down yesterday and saw there is a heat pipe from the processor that is designed to channel the heat from the CPU to the phone's frame. Next gen CPU must really run cooler.
It runs much cooler than my V20. But seriously this device doesn't get hot at all. The only time I've gotten it hot is when I first got it and it was installing multitudes of apps.

fast maybe not but fine yes! I think it's in a medium level to use. If you want a fast phone.. use poco f1
Compared to high end devices it's not fast but for a €200 device it sure is fast.
I don't game a lot (if not at all) on my phone and so far I've tried this phone only with Pixel Car Racer, FR Legends and Warbands Bushido: the phone always works fine and it doesn't get hot, it might if you were to use it with more demanding games though.
As far as everyday use is concerned this phone is perfect (to me) though: I use my phone a lot throughout the day and I'm always switching between one app and another but the phone never left me down.
So far I'm very pleased with the performance offered by this phone.
I gave it 4 stars because you can get for about the same price the Mi A2, which has a faster SoC.

Well, the snapdragon version seemed a bit laggy compared to the Exynos device. Interesting, isn't it?
Testing them for almost 2 weeks now...
Sent from my Redmi Note 9 Pro using XDA Labs
Long time performance seems to be better with medium power saving since the Exynos 990 tend to throttle by heat when set to optimized or high performance.
Medium power saving that lower the processor speed to 70% seems to produce less heat which preserve great performance and battery life.
Therefore, the Exynos 990 is pretty good when in medium power saving.
Very fast
