Untested some guy asked me if I can port my build N from ghost so here u go
maybe we have the same bugs here like ghost.
please test and report.

What bugs should I expect ? Planning to test it over the weekend.

i wana try it but stuck on kitkat 4.4 su-6-7.7 firmware, any way to root in and unlock its bootloader

First you have to unlock the bootloader, but I think on the latest 4.4.su 6-7.7 isn't possible ...

Still got my droid mini around. Will do some testing for y'all.
Edit: Can't get this to boot. It's stuck on the BL screen and doesn't even reach the rom's boot screen. Using TWRP 2.8.4.0. Is there an updated one for obake?

Same here with Droid Maxx.

This is awesome.
Do you have chance to fix the non working bits?

I have not tried.
I was hoping I could try once the non working features are working.

Droid mini XT1030, stuck on the bootloader screen.
Can your team fix this?

from following the moto x (ghost) forums (my maxx is currently a ghost in droid clothing running aokp) twrp 3.1.1 is required iirc, due to some new wrinkle that needs support baked in for N. someone would have to port the unofficial one over in the other forum over to us. i can say though, that running ghost firmware, 3.1.1 works great on our devices.

don't we need TWRP >2.8.x to boot N? i ran into this issue a few months ago trying to use the ghost version of this rom. if you can come up with a 3.1.1ish build of twrp for my xt1080m, i'll be happy to test both out.
edit: in fact very interested. i've yet to be able to use my jawbone era earpiece via bluetooth without the connection dropping and phone doing a hard reset. probably highlights one of the few differences in the ultra vs x, if i had to wager a guess. if you have more targeted drivers, in fact i will beg you to let me.
edit 2: i'm good at capturing logcats for devs so they don't have to hear me ramble all the time to figure out wtf i am talking about.

Please don't let this thread die. We have now @tom.etc as a capable tester.

Twrp 3.1.1 for GHOST works on Mini, Maxx, and ULtra

I got a droid mini for free. It was on an old software version, hadn't been touched in years. I unlocked the bootloader with sunshine and then let it take like 7 system updates until it was up to date, then flashed twrp 2.8.4
I had issues flashing the lineage os 13 unofficial for obake https://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-ultra/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-obake-t3319958, it was stuck on the lineage boot screen. I was trying to use twrp 2.8.4 because that was the latest version I could find for this device.
As mentioned above, it seems that GHOST (Moto X 2013) software does work on the droid Maxx, Ultra, and Mini Family. I flashed 3.1.1 twrp_ghost from https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/twrp-touch-recovery-unofficial-t3309449 on my droid mini and it works.
When I tried to flash Lineage os 13 though, it would fail to flash, saying the firmware file wasn't made for ghost_verizon since I was using the 3.1.1 twrp from ghost, TWRP is under the impression that I am using a different device.
If you open the rom zip using WinRAR, and you can copy the updater-script located at META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script to your desktop, open the file, change 2 instances of "obakem" to "ghost_verizon", save the file, then with WinRAR still open copy the updater-script back into the zip. I flashed the zip in twrp 3.1.1 after doing this and successfully booted into lineage os 13.
I flashed lineage os 14.1 for ghost from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/rom-unofficial-lineageos-14-1-t3667515 on my droid mini using the 3.1.1 ghost twrp and lineage os boots! It has on screen buttons for back, home, and recent apps though, the hardware buttons aren't working. Also, as mentioned over there, the camera does not work.
Anyways, sorry for the long explanation. I tried getting this rom to boot in twrp 3.1.1 by updating the updater-script the same way but it didn't work. So there's some other issue causing this rom not to work. If you want nougat just flash twrp 3.1.1 ghost, and lineage os 14.1 for ghost, that worked for me.

since i have my device already reporting itself as ghost and not obake, i should not have to edit anything then. the recovery and rom should just work, no?
fyi, up through MM, the patch offered in this forum for lollipop has worked swimmingly for activating the capacitve buttons on any ghost rom i've tried. then its usually just a matter of disabling the navbar.

Yes. If you have the twrp 3.1.1 for ghost already installed on a Droid Maxx/ultra/mini, you should be able to flash ghost roms without needing to modify them, then flashing the patch you mentioned which does enable the capacitive buttons.

Lineage OS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Lineage OS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. Lineage OS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
When coming from any other ROM, you must do a factory reset / clean flash.
The first boot can take a very long time. Don't assume that it is a bad flash, boot loop, etc. until it has sat for at least 5 minutes.

Installing now, will test and report my findings. Thanks for this! Been looking out for a while.
Edit:
So after using this rom for a day, I can say its quite stable for an alpha rom. It's fast, transitions and scrolling are smooth. I had absolutely no freezes, crashes or restarts. With some work, it can be a great rom!
This rom on my maxx is faster than my dt2 on 5.1..1 of course I havent added any apps yet but it is fast as ****
I can't wait to try it out soon. Just waiting to hear more try it out since my phone is a daily driver for work ><
I'm officially using it as my daily. The only thing that doesn't work that bothers me is the flashlight. Video recording actually works fine for me.
Device is a Droid Mini.

That is quite an endorsement for the ROM! As soon as the flashlight bug is fixed, I'm flashing!!
Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
No issues so far. Loving it as a daily driver. A third party flashlight app works fine. Stock camera didn't work at first, installed google camera which worked. Then I tried the stock camera again and it works fine, video and all. Weird.
Multi-windows also works fine.
All in all, great job and keep the builds coming.
I couldn't help myself, installing Apps now but yeah, no joke, this thing is smooth... Almost as smooth as my iPhone 6s j/k
Edit: been running for a few hours and it has bogged down a bit with all the Apps I've installed. Still not bad but getting some serious lag with the keyboard as I'm typing this...
Edit2: lag seem to be from BT, I toggled it and everything went back to normal. It was BT'd to my car earlier.
Edit3: loving this ROM! Installed Xposed and Greenify. Battery life so far is pretty good. Will continue to monitor and report back.

Bootlooped on a clean flash....just got stuck on the CM logo. Anyone else? DL's are good, TWRP at 2.8.7.0.
Edit: I'm on my third clean flash and it appears to be stuck yet again. I can't get passed the logo. What am I doing wrong? I've re-downloaded, all flashes appear to be successful, I believe my TWRP to be the latest. How long did it sit on the logo? When it's over 10-12 minutes I start over. Should I be changing the system format in TWRP or something? I've flashed all the 5.1.x roms and back to stock a ton, so I must be missing something here that I'm unaware of.

I'm not sure then. I unlocked way back on 4.4 with sunshine, but I have flashed new versions of 4.4.4 along the way. I know I'm on at least 6-7, and I think I'm on 7-2. I thought if I unlocked ages ago, the bootloader does not update with new flashes? Now I'm just unsure of this all. If someone can chip in with bootloader info for flashing 6.0, that would be great.

Thanks, I appreciate your help. Gonna be honest, I've never had more issue flashing stuff than I have with my Maxx. Seems there's always an issue, yet I always do it to myself with the want to flash stuff, ha.
Back on stock. If someone has any ideas of why it sticks on the CM logo, I'd be curious to try this again.
Can't thank you enough for this!! Flashing right now and will report back!

Setup Wizard has stopped.
Clock has stopped.
Play services stopped.
lol, read the instructions just now Will re-flash and report back

Well, it went fine - had to flash both rom and gapps one after the other without booting (as mentioned in first post). Everything seems to work. I'll report back after trying it out extensively during the next couple of days hopefully. Thank you again
Hey kude, i had the same issue. I know sometimes cm doesn't play well with a clean install. I installed a old snapshot of cm12 from a clean wipe. Then did a factory wipe(data, cache, and dalvik. No system and internal storage wipe) and installed cm13 over that with marshmallow gapps. Booted fine after that.
Its been a few days and I've had no problems. Great rom

This is good info, thanks! When I have some time to do this, I'll try your method. How's GPS on this new rom? All the 5.1.1 roms had finicky GPS and data hand off quirks for me.
I just wiped everything clean: Dalvik Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage & Cache. Then rebooted in Recovery and plugged in to PC and copied rom and gapps. Flashed both one after the other and rebooted. This went fine!
I'm using Google Maps and GPS seems to be behaving properly. Device is Droid Mini. The Speakerphone during calls and LED issue remains the same as in CM12.1. Speakerphone during the call does not work. It works as a mute button but neither sound goes out nor it gets in. Pressing it back restores the call. Notification LEDs does not work at all.
Yeah notification LED not working in CM 12.1 ..i hope thats working in cm 13. My device droid mini. Thanks Sir...

These are common known problems that PA is working on. A fix is expected in a next release of the rom.
I guess those issues should be mentionned in the Rom description.
Sorry I cannot help.

SIM will be fixed in the next release. This was due to missing modem blobs but these have now been added and will be present in the next release.
Camera: Can you please try different resolutions and maybe a different camera app. I don't personally own a Z3 Tablet so can't fully check for this device.
Finally unlocked and flashed a custom rom on my new tablet.
Great to be back to bare android, the bloat was really getting a P in the A
Still getting the hang of flashing on xperia, as i'm used to samsung and nexus devices.
But i think i got it right this time, all seems to be running smooth.
Thank you very much.

Best is probably to put your own imei that should be on your phone box. I hope it will make your phone useable in the meantime.
anyone else has sd card corruption? aftery every reboot the external sd is corrupted. on stock rom and cm12.1 it is working fine.

It caused by flashing the wrong recovery img. Happend to me once when the TWRP warns my SPG21 as a Scorpion_windy and failed to flash the PA scorpion. Solve by flashing the correct twrp img. U can find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/twrp-v2-8-6-0-f2fs-z1-z1c-z2-z3-z3c-t3098573 or here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4996503000517182028

Where/What is the " OFFICIAL STOCK ROM" mentioned in the previous step? I haven't installed TWRP on my device yet because I was waiting for a 6+ ROM like this one, so I'll be coming from 100% stock. Does it refer to a stock Sony ROM that's flashed?

Yep, thanks for the quote, I read this guide, I wanted to confirm that the ROM was 6.0.1 stock, as the Scorpion LTE ROM looks scarily small at ~350mb. Cheers.

This is largely due to there being the bare minimum of apps pre-installed. You'll want to install a Gapps package from here for access to Google Play etc.
Can you guys add a recovery to the rom? It's such a pain in the ass to first flash another kernel, boot recovery, flash your stuff and reflash the kernel again. It's even worse when something goes wrong.

Yes, that would be really great if not to difficult.
But no issue if not, love the rom!

Resurrection Remix install procedure
Thanks for posting this. Wonder if you could help me out? I'm trying to install this ROM on a A3500f. It's fresh out of the box with a Stock ROM with no modifications, not rooted etc.
I used the downloads provided, flashed CWM via SPFT. All worked well.
I saved Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 to external SD card.
Booted into recovery and selected install Resurrection Remix Zip
After a few seconds it returned to menu. When I tried to reboot it says "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
Once reboot it just hangs on the very initial Lenovo splash screen and there's no way to turn the device off until the battery has fully drained.
Am I missing a step? Does the device need to be rooted before I attempt this. Apologies I'm a noob.

Hello,
Thanks for your work on this ROM.
Unfortunately, I have the same problem as @BobToss on a A3500-F model.
I noticed that after installing the RR zip, I have a "unable to mount /system" on TWRP logs. Sounds like the archive corrupts the file system.
Any help would be really apreciated.
Regards
Got it working
Hey, I actually got this working by using a newer version of TWRP to the one attached under the CWM link in the original post. The link is to v2.8 (I think), but once I installed TWRP v3+ I was able to install the ROM no problem. Since then I've installed RR 5.8 which is based on Android 7 and seems much better.

Probably yes. I have lenovo a3500-fl and this rom work. I have cwm recovery for lenovo a3500-hv on a3500-fl and it's work.
Just do not use any application to block ads. Some pages do not work, for example xda forum.
I didn't find any more bugs.

I use this rom every day. the camera works without a problem. I do not know if this rom will work on lenovo a3500-hv. if you have a custom recovery, do a backup. in recovery there may be errors during installation. wait for the installation to finish. rom should work normally. the first start can last 10 minutes. the entire installation process takes 30 minutes. most importantly, after making a backup copy, do factory resest / data reset and wipe cache.
Install rom from sdcard!

This problem is not so persistent, 5 GB of memory is enough for normal use. The external memory cards should work. On my tablet, the lenovo a3500-fl sd card works fine.
a silly question is this for the A7-40 A3500-FL or A7-50 A3500-H A3500-HV?
and one more how different is this rom to the RESURRECTION REMIX-M 5.7.4 for A3500-H from 4pda
is it the same rom or a completely new build I'm asking as I was playing around with the 4pda build a few months ago and I noticed the kernel is not the same as the a3500-Fl so it needed a rebuild of the boot image ?
I opened the updater-script from META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script
and this is what it reads
ui_print("RESURRECTION ROM");
ui_print("========================================");
ui_print("Девайс: Lenovo A3500-H");

I'm right to think that this is taken from 4pda, have all the postbuild patches been applied?
I'm not posting links to the 4pda page but just to be clear is this the same 5.7.4 rom or has something been added to it?

I downloaded both images and did a folder compare I noticed that the 4pda version had 2 extra apk's MX Player Pro and BusyBox Pro (which are obsolete by now and not really needed) also the adway shipped in this image is uncompatible with fdroid's build so you can't get auto updates I removed that one too and installed AdAway from fdroid maybe the OP can replace AdAway with a build from fdroid
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.adaway/
maybe even include f-droid
I also added these 2 lines to system\build.prop
Code:
ro.radio.noril=1
persist.radio.noril=1
use it to remove the no sim icon this is for FL models only as they are wifi only devices A3500-H and HV have a sim tray so this might break their functionality
two annoyances got me back on kitkat
#1 I couldn't install SuperSu from TWRP which wants to install systemlessly but can't find the boot image so flashing fails
#2 because SELinux is set to permissive I can't get pass google's safety net
does anybody know how to install supersu in these cm13 (android 6) images, I can live without safety net but it really annoys me
ps
also the radio didn't work for me I got a not available at the moment error, can someone confirm the radio works or not , the 4pda thread has a fixed radio zip but for the older RR-5.7.3 I haven't tested that apk

This is an unofficial rom, there is nothing to expect that everything will work as it should, adaway would work normally and supersu too. I will note that I no longer use this rom because I am used to android kitkat. I do not like the newer system any more. It looks nice but it is not very comfortable for me.
It is modified RR5.7.4 from 4pda with deleted cracked apps. About that systemless root: If you are using my TWRP 3 build, I've forgotten to add Boot to fstab. I can't fix it because I sold this tablet to my friend and bought SGS4 a month ago because my phone has broken completely.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to update my bootstack before flashing?
Yes, if you don't come from B32 stock it's necessary to update your boostack and modem. That files
can be found under the download section.
Does this rom support modifications?
No, because I don't know how every modification out there exact works which can cause
problems with debuging and overall stability.
Does this rom support custom kernels?
No, because this falls under the same section as modifications, but every kernel that is based
on the source of the stock kernel of this rom, should work fine.
Will you add feature or app XYZ?
No, our team decides democratically and we only want unique or necessary features
without overloading the rom. Also should the rom work the same no matter which device
it's used on.
Why isn't everything working flawlessly?
Remember, this is a Beta build for testing purposes. Also are this build based on old
N proprietary blobs and since ZTE didn't release any new for now it's impossible to fix
certain issues.
When will a new build drop?
When I think it's alright. I don't want to release untested work.
Downloading. Thank you very much for your work.

Flash universal bootloader
I installed it as soon as it hit AFH. Flashed bootloader and modem. No problems with install other than a corrupt sd notice. Working on that. Data/Wifi/Bluetooth operational. The camera doesn't fc but is very dark and takes dark images. Known issue, so let's move on. Substratum works. Mono looks sweet on 8.1. The big cluster doesn't seem to be downclocking on Interactive. Switching to Conservative solves that. Too early to tell much else. Gratz on a solid first release!
Edit: I backed up my SD card, formatted it and copied everything back. It's working fine. I've had this problem with a few other Oreo builds. Not sure why Oreo sees it as corrupted initially.

I'm flashing that first, then the A2017U B32 modem provided in the OP, and then flashing the ROM. It shows error 7, and it says that my device name isn't correct.

No mine sis the same to. Left my device name as blank lol. Had to manually remove the trust zone. Try redownloading it or go in and change it to blank like i did

I honestly don't think so. I just re-downloaded everything, flashed everything and got the exact same error. What can I do?

How can I do that? I've tried doing it, but I get an error saying the ZIP file is in an incorrect format.
I'm sorry for asking so much, I'm a complete noob and I can't find information on this

can you confirm, what version of TWRP are you using? Try using the latest. That fixed my problem. Still had the N1 version installed

I'm using version 3.1.1-0. I just tried removing the assert and got error 6 while trying to flash.

Flash the latest TWRP 3.2.1-0 using TWRP and then flash the unmodified zips

3.1.1-0 is janky. I had problems with Oreo and that version. 3.2.1-0 seems solid.
Would you look at that... Updating TWRP solved it! Thanks, guys! @Cablespider @reV17
Can I root this ROM? Or is Magisk incompatible with Oreo?
Magisk 15.1 is running fine.

The Fingerprint sensor is not yet implemented into my builds
APN needs set to IPv4/IPv6 to support full data capabilities for T-Mobile/MetroPCS
VoLTE isn't working
Wifi MAC address is not properly set
Double Tap 2 Wake on devices with a Synaptics display (which is about half of the LG K20 Plus devices)
Formatting /data as F2FS limits the partition to only 4GB so definitely avoid doing that for now
Please let me know if there are issues so i can update this list and work towards making it shorter than it already is.
Install Instructions1. Download ROM from the link below.
(This ROM is a 64bit ROM please install the 64bit PBRP from the Official PBRP thread unless you have an old 64bit capable recovery)
2. Wipe dalvik/cache/data/factory reset. (also delete the /Android folder from your external SD card, this can be done in PBRP under advanced/file manager)
3. Flash the rom in recovery.
4. Flash OpenGApps in recovery. (Make sure to choose 8.1 ARM64)
5. Reboot device.
Error 255 when flashing 64bit roms is because you are running 32bit twrp. Try PBRP in the Official PBRP thread
To fix fp enrollment on my builds or stock will require you to either delete the enrolled fingerprint(s) before clean install or switching to/from stock, alternatively you can root the device, use a root file explorer to navigate to the /persist-lg/ partition and delete the goodix folder. (FP is currently not implemented into my Oreo builds and will take time to shim to work, I however will be keeping this bit here for those who decide to revert back to stock or to my Nougat builds)

I can get a log but just wanted to let you know also if anyone wants what seems to help data a bit including faster switches from 3g to lte after calls try flashing this

Yeah that data issue is related to ipv6 not allowing full network connectivity. Change that to ipv4/ipv6 in your APN and you'll be golden. It's something kernel related preventing full IPv6 connectivity. I'll check out your build.prop tweaks though. I plan to change the built-in APNs to address that issue until I can get that issue resolved. I probably won't work on debugging that until Pie since its not quite a high priority issue.
I installed the mentioned game just to make sure that was the issue. Loaded up just fine over LTE with ipv4 enabled
Dirty flashing from a previous Oreo build to 2/7 will likely result in a bootloop if you had magisk installed. You will need to reflash magisk and possibly gapps to resolve this issue. Its because I changed the filesystem type for certain partitions from ext4 to f2fs for a slight performance boost.

Sorry about that lol
I'm going to revert those changes since they were personal preference but the change won't affect users that had issues installing the most recent build.
I am not sure what's up, I've flashed 2/9 a bunch and just bootlooping.. Clean install and fresh magisk flash
EDIT: Tried a few more times and no go.. I'll wait for the revert
I'm starting to think people don't know this thread exists yet

Revert build is up under the same name as yesterdays build with yesterdays build renamed to the proper date. It will work with ext4 and f2fs now. Its likely your issue was from cache being formatted as EXT4 which yesterdays build didn't support, today's does.

Me too lol. Once I get a new screen I'll get a YouTube video up with a side by side comparison between lineage 15.1 and stock. Should make for a very enlightening video.

I can but won't for users who for some reason prefer SU, but magisk installer is baked into PBRP so close enough right? Lol also a new build is being uploaded now with overall performance improvements. Maybe I'm just crazy but even networking seems faster on 2/08. Should be up in about an hour. I'm off to bed now. Enjoy the super fluid 2/8 build.
Its a thumbs up lol
Going to need help testing something that everyone wants ??
