Official Froyo - Camera Quality

One of the main gripes I have with the Nexus One is the camera quality when compared to other high-end phones, especially video recording.
Now that the official Froyo is out, has anyone seen an improvement in video recording?
I've watched some videos uploaded on Youtube recorded on a Froyo Nexus One, and it looks like the camera has vastly improved in quality.
However, the sound is still very distorted, which leads to my second question: can the sound recording be improved via software or is this a hardware limitation?
Thanks!

It's a software one. You can look for the 720p post in the dev section, the OP mentions the problem in a few posts.

[Q] Audio quality in video recording?

I currently have the Droid Razr M and if I ever try to take a video of a concert or other loud environment the audio is always atrocious. I am hoping that the X has decent quality audio recording.
My Razr currently sounds like the S3 in this video:

Can someone upload a video they've taken with the X at a concert? Or even just crank up the volume of some music on your home theater (with bass) and see how it performs.
I am hoping that the X can approach the One!

Bad audio rec

To those of you who have the 4X in your hands already, I'm curious what your thoughts are on the mic quality. When recording video, how is the audio? Specifically, imagine recording vid of a live band in a club room.... Is it bad and have noise?
Thanks

OFFICIAL answer from LG regarding Dolby Vision

This is an official response LG regarding Dolby Vision and HDR10 on the LG V40 ThinQ. I found it pretty dumb that they didn't certify the V40 with Dolby Vision given the high quality of this OLED Panel. Maybe the G6 was 12 bit but there's TVs' out there that don't have 12bit panels and support Dolby Vision.
Couldn't attach a copy of the email so here is what was written.

No new update so far?
My LG G6 Dolby vision quality is superb compared to my LG v40 on hdr10 it's absolutely insane. The color quality and sharpness difference is fastly obvious. If handset support both Dolby vision and hdr10 we as consumers should have the choice which format we want to stream in. I choose Dolby vision over hdr10 every time. I'm on the LG G6 G7 G8 v40 & v50 and the G6 picture smokes all of them on Netflix with DV!

No support on v40?
The G6 defaults to Dolby vision. The others HDR 10. The quality on Netflix specifically is far better on the the G6 than any other LG I listed.
