I broke it out the other day to try WWE Mayhem
TL;DW
The game didn't work with the Gamepad.
However, I still think the Gamepad is cool, I just think mobile games suck. Maybe emulators are the way to go

I'm not really a mobile game person either, but metal gear acid 2 on this would be a treat. I think China Town wars would be nice too.

Never heard of them, but I will give them a shot
Just got this a few weeks ago, it definitely makes me more likely to game on emulators than if I had no controller or a blue tooth controller. There's games I would never play with an on screen pad, and a blue tooth controller can feel too cumbersome to play with sometimes, but this is like a perfect medium for playability and portability. I've found myself playing way more since I've had the controller. There are 2 negatives though. The dpad has to be pressed down a little harder than most game pads, but you get used to it. Also, the shoulder buttons are a little small, they probably should have just stuck to 2 total shoulder buttons instead of trying to stick all 4 up there.

Actually, it looks like they just released a fixed Oreo on 2/16 based on their newsroom.
Anyone had an issue where the phone wouldn't charge more than "charging slowly" while it's in the gamepad?
Also does your gamepad charge your phone?

Allot of you might not know this but they can upgrade you well before your contract is up. I am getting the kaiser cough cough I mean tilt cough cough I mean 8925 LOL hopefully when it hits the shelves maybe even sooner but it definitely looks like it brings allot to the table.

has anyone else noticed that the Sliding keyboard opens the other way than the Hermes??? the D pad is on the left, rather than the right! personally that will take me some getting used to playing Snes will be awkward to begin with! it makes the device look weird as its on the other side

I cant find a decent SNES emu for the hermes.. and also, how are u playing it using the touch screen?
i have PocketSNES 1.12.200 and it runs well, and i use the hardware buttons; Email for jump, Dpad for move ... my point in my post was that i have the DPad on the Right, whereas onthe Kaiser the Dpad is on the Left
I have a good friend that works at an att store and he told me that he actually got a chance to play with it in his meeting with the htc reps. He said it felt pretty solid physical, and software wise! He also said it could be out as soon as sometime sept and the only thing that htc will be dismissing in this unit is the IR! but who uses that anyways right lol! Oh yeah and he also said the unit he played with also had the front cam, so its quit possible att might be intorducing video calling for this unit!

Trust me, it would be a waste even if he had that kinda access to the the phone, I'm the one that hip him to the 8525's, for a min he thought blackberry's and the iphone was the ****, plus hes has no idea about rom dumping, I tried to introduce him to this site and got all confused with the info lol! sorry!

LOL @ that second link. They have this stand listed as weighing over 9lb. That's more than a newborn baby or some bowling balls. Its nice to know you could kill a man with this stand if you needed to. It almost makes the thing seem not completely overpriced.

Don't hope to much, I never seen a cheap one that has pogo, only microUSB, I have had some experience with BB devices that did have a cheap versions with pogo, but that device is more complicated then a charging base you know? a least it shows in pre order so hope soon it will out

i tried many kebaords but finally i got one of the best wireless keyboard that too aluminum casing. So, thought of sharing with you.
The reance of the keybaord is quite awesome so it is hell alot convinient. you can rome around with it and close it like you are carriying a laapy.Yoy can check it the configuration Here .You can also use it vertically or horizontolly. Its awesome guys you should try it.

I hope it works out for you, but it's exactly the same as the ones found in this link and didn't last more than a couple months.
I loved mine for about 30 days, then the keys started wearing off and popping out of their socket.

You're going to have to ask Shaanagrawal what he thinks, but I stopped using mine months ago because I simply couldn't see the keys any longer.
Hey - I wanted to show off my latest 3D printed dock, this time for the nexus 10.
I borrowed the design ideas from what I saw posed on here and tried to build off of it.
I think the one unique thing about it is that it is made of glazed ceramic instead of that usual plastic. It is very study and has some nice heft, while keeping 3D printing costs down.
I designed it to be able to keep the nexus docked while in my folio case, since I will snatch it off the stand before heading out the door. However, this will dock with or without the case. (FYI this is my case: http://www.roocase.com/Slim-Fit-Veg...--Black-rooCASE/cat-p/c1000036/p10518806.html)
It is designed for the standard POGO magnetic cable.
I just wanted to get thoughts on this if anyone would be interested in one or what questions you might have about it.

Agree. Unfortunate really...and surprising. I've had 3 of these in my family and none had any issues whatsoever. They are all in use and still running pretty darn good! I've compared to newer tablets but this really is still a great tablet. Not sure why this forum is so dead.

I only selected options for the ceramic material, since plastics would have sent the price over $100.
Let me know what you guys think and if anyone really wants to be a baller and get it made in plastic, I'll add in those options, so just let me know.
I have a just one other tip: I sanded the plastic housing of the POGO cable down just a bit with some sand paper and put a piece of electrical tape on it so when I wedge it in, it stays put on docking and undocking.

Does your daydream work all night or does it shut off and back on when the battery is full? Wireless charging cycles on and off when the battery is full and it seems to mess with Daydream.
Seen this one at Verizon the other day, really diggin it. Waitin for my gift cards to come in from trading in phones and probably gonna cop it.

Yes, the one I posted works just fine with not only the Incipio case, but I also have the Metal disc from the iOauto magenetic holder for my car.
I have noticed, however, that it gets rather warm when I take it off when its in the case, so that is something to think about.
The charger does stop when it reaches 100%...this is causing daydream to fail by morning so I'm thinking of trying to use Trigger to turn on daydream whenever wireless charging starts...that may do the trick...
