[Q] ADW Launcher - Preveting Landscape mode

I am using AOSP YMCA Gingerbread ROM 1/28 and I notice I get lag on my screen when it switches into landscape mode. Is there a way of preventing it from going into landscape mode?
Do you want just ADW to stop switching, or every program (except youtube or apps that run natively in landscape)?
Landscape
You can actually turn off auto landscaping.
Home Screen -> Menu -> Display, then uncheck auto-rotate screen. Applications like youtube will still be able to rotate when you put them into landscape.
I think that's what you're requesting.
Thank you that fixed it

Auto Rotation

Is there a method by which I can auto-rotate the lock screen and/or dialer? I'm running Liberty3 2.0 and ADWLauncher.
Have you gone settings > display > auto-rotation? They should auto-rotate when the keyboard is open, but this will allow (for sure) the dialer to rotate once unlocked. I'm not sure if your lockscreen will even with it checked.
I have it set but when the KB is closed the dialer and lock screen don't rotate. I have a regular holder in my car, not a dock, and its pretty annoying when I call from my headset and the dialer comes up sideways :-/
There is a hack that allows you to do this. It hink there called power widgets or something. Also many of the custom roms have this

There's an app in the market called Smart Rotate which allows you to force rotation on individual applications.

Can phone/incall window be enabled for split screen multiwindow?

I would like to use split screen multiwindow where one half of my screen is the phone app/incall screen and the other half of my screen is the calendar app.
When I grab the phone app in the multiwindow tray, I am told that the phone app only supports pop-up view.
I am rooted so Xposed or other root options are okay.
Thanks for the help.
MW Manager from the Play store. Enable in Xposed. Works for me. Enables multi window capability to any app.

[mod]build.prop (sharing)

Attached is my personal build.prop (extra properties) which I append to the build.prop which comes with our Oneplus 7 Pro releases.
This is an accumulated build.prop over a number of phones (so there might be a few properties which are outdated in the meantime).
In addition, I spent an afternoon looking for the properties which are used in Oneplus, APKs, libraries, binaries, etc.
Do NOT blindly apply this (it disables for example voLTE which is not available on my carrier).
Use it as a reference and take what you need.

Hey! I found this looking for a way to make my lockscreen rotate. Do you have any idea why...
"lockscreen.rot_override=true" (Enable Auto Rotation on Lock Screen) ...and...
"log.tag.launcher_force_rotate=VERBOSE" (Enable Auto Rotation on Home Screen)
...absolutely will NOT work on Oneplus phones? I've tried with the 6T and the 7 Pro, and they just ignore them.
Is there some other way to get my lockscreen to rotate? EVERY other Android device I've had will do it. It's frustrating.
Thanks!

Lockscreen rotation shouldn't be a thing on this device because of the onscreen fingerprint sensor. That being said, if you don't care, you can use EdXposed + Gravitybox to force your lockscreen to rotate.

Thank you! Yeah, I don't like fingerprint unlock, so I'm looking into the combination you've suggested now.
All this to make the stupid Lockscreen rotate. Crazy!

How to add more functionality to dual screen case?

The settings for it are not enough. How to make an app automatically open up on the dual screen even if the app is opened on the phone screen? When cycling through open apps in the recents list how to stop apps appearing on the phone screen which then gets pulled away from the dual screen? Essentially lock the app to only show on the dual screen? Also macrodroid doesnt seem to work with dual screen how to make it work?
I have not found a way to lock it but with macrodroid I set up a macro that takes a program to wide mode whenever I open the app.
In macrodroid set trigger for application launched (select application), set action to switch wide mode-turn on.
Separately I added a floating button that works on all apps, I just selected toggle rather than on for action
