HTC should release a home application that runs Sense UI. I think it's doable, and if they did they could charge like 20 bucks, and not really have to go from firmware to firmware extremes.
i am not really sure whether i like what i see that HTC is posting on the market. all the widgets they publish are only for HTC Magic and Droid Eris... meanwhile sending C&D's to developers who have been porting HTC widgets to other devices (like HTC Dream/G1)...
to me this looks like they want to push sales of their Magic & Droid Eris models, and make people switch from their old G1's...

The excellent launcher i recently used unofficially is SPB Shell 3d .. got a link lying around somewhere (Google)

Here's the official link ofcourse !! this app has a license as in if your wifi or internet is on this app will say that you need to officially buy the software !!
Basically when you install it with an apk !! and press the home button it will ask for htc sense / spb shell 3d in our htc incredible s and down will be a tickmark saying set as default .. check that tickmark and launch spb shell 3d !! and use it as full version with wifi and everything !! if you want to clear defaults it can be done from Settings->Applications->SPB shell 3d !!
This is just for usage and trial purposes !! if you like the app go ahead and buy it ! Njoy !!!
ive played with it allready and i dont like it at all....
it is not very user friendly, and it sucks up allot of memory...
and yes ive played with the full version...
IMO, sense is nicer than this! i have spb on all my devivces
even i lovee sense itself !! but its good to have a change sometimes
@nikhil007mmus, you should look at go launcher its nice and clean and has a lil more options than the regular one

Yeah... I tried too.. But HTC Sense is looking better comparatively, and moreover I found that on HTC 3D mobile, they have a 3D user interface which is much cool than SPB Shell.. If they release the same for Incredible S too.. it would be awesome...
May be I am day dreaming a lot these mean days...

It is so tacky and cheesy. The 3d carrousel looks good but all the bezels for widgets and folders are just 10 years out of date.

If you want to see how good this could be been, and could have looked, look at sense 3 on the sensation or flyer.
using live wallpaper already take enough CPU time....and the 3D does not do any good

I tried this, looks cool and doesn't lag but wished it had more customization capabilities, reverted back to launcher pro plus
I like sense 3.0 much better than spb

I've Flashed HTC kingdom SD ROM to my HD2(monster) with Sense 3.0 and to tell you, it's irresistible! the 3D effect's are just awesome!
why cannot it be ported to SGT? or one is forced to buy a HTC flyer??
Super Dev's, is there any chance? or it's just impossible?

I love the fancy stuff. honeycomb looks more of serious. sense 3.0 have 3d effects on non 3d screens which is impressive. i was playing with Moto Xoom and did not touch my G-sensor so best thing until now is HTC flyer with Sense 3.0
I would love to have Sense on my SGT. Just seems the I800 is hard to mod.
yes mate,sense bar is very impressive..i wonder also me to see in the prox months a porting of that...also that required a lot of ram it looks very good....specially in a tab!

I loved the HTC UI and this is as close as you can get to an HTC phone when you don't have one..
