unnamed Rom - Samsung Galaxy J700T & J700T1 ROMs, Kernels, Recov

Nothing to see here, delete me. Rom was cancelled due to nougat 7.1.1 update.
Delete please

Move this to the General Forums please. Rule 15 states that the Development Forums are to post actual releases not teases.

Nougat? Trying to decide if I should go with OTA or wait for a 7.x release?

I just thought I should let you know because a tease might make a user upset or impatient. I ended up here on accident trying to get to the S7 forums but I saw this and thought I should let you know it's a General discussion rather than actual development unless you're going to provide the user with something via this thread

Actually its not a general discussion forum. If u look it is a development sub forum for this variant of the j7

Development.

General discussions include news and announcement, and is that not what this is? Announcing a new custom firmware being developed by you? (Well, cancelled now unfortunately) or discussions designed with an end goal, which this is not because it is only an announcement of a [new] custom firmware in development. But if you think otherwise, that's fine. I just thought maybe you should know. Have a good day, I see you are involved with many parts of the development here so I'm pretty sure you know what you're doing

@MikeChannon please delete this thread

How do I POST replies in DEVELOPMENT Forums?

I have an Atrix 4G and a fair bit of knowledge on it. These forums are really good, but it would be useful if I could reply to threads in the atrix development. I have answers and questions, but I don't know if I need to be approved or something like that in order to post in the forums.

Since you are past 10 posts now you should be able to post there. If it still doesn't work in a few hours, then you might ping one of the mods in that forum to take a look at your account and see if there is some issue there.
You need 10 posts to post in development forums, which you can find out more about by looking at the links in my signature.
The server only updates permissions periodically so yours may not have been changed yet, but you have the required post count.
I've had a look at your posts and you're not a typical "10 post spammer" that we see a lot of in here, which is greatly appreciated, but it's still worth a reminder about the following things.
Don't create threads in Development forums unless it's to release software. Questions go in either a relevant existing thread, or a new one in the Q&A forum (or General forum if there's no device-specific Q&A forum). And on that note, always search thoroughly before asking. Nothing irritates other members more than seeing the same questions asked over and again.
Anyway, just bare the above in mind and go enjoy the forums. I'm just glad I don't have to delete a bunch of pointless posts

Yeah man I just want to contribute. Do I need a "thanks" or something like that ?
Also can an admin "approve me" or something like that? My only other question is the five minute between post wait can that be removed? For example I'm just waiting now to send this reply, it's no big deal, just wondering.
Also I posted a thread here asking basically the same question, I don't know how to delete it, but here's a link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783730

Nope, its not reflected by Thanks Meter. Just 10 posts is decent enough. For deleting/closing that Thread, you need to contact the Forum Specific Moderator assigned to that Forum.

At the top of each forum the mods responsible for that forum should be listed. I was suggesting to send one of them a PM, but Archer answered you here.
I got it. Thanks for the help I can post now!
@mf2112 thanks it's working fine now I can post replies !

[CODE] v30a ics oficial p990 source code

I don't now if is allowed to post this here i know is posted on general but no one go to general so!
Here we have source code please mirror to let the code arrive to all devs more fast possible
Mirror dropbox
Man are you rude! Obviously he just wanted to share. He even sort of apologize if he were on the wrong spot. But yes, the post is misplaced. But you all are. On this forum we try to help eachother. Want to share hate? Guess there are several forums for you. Not here!
did you know? You are a NOOB on XDA so don't blame others if they don't know where to post or they posted something that is not allowed...tell them that they didn't posted in the right section or things like that but no hard feelings please.....:laugh:everyone is here to help each other
Honestly, I'm quite annoyed you all here at xda! You all handle like scum! Sry but I can't say it anyway better.
Just because you are an experienced user at xda, it doesn*t give you the right to blame other people, who want to help the whole community. What is so wrong, to share dev stuff? He didn't just give a mirror, no he uploaded it so we don't need to extra super slow LG server to develop new stuff out of this.
It's really a shame, seeing you all act like this..
If you feel attacked by me now, feel free to press the report button.
Firstly I've closed this thread as there is already one open which you linked to. Development is only for work created by you so if you didn't make it then it shouldn't be there. General is for all discussions which this should've been if there wasn't already one going on.
Secondly I've cleaned the thread as what I read was ridiculous. Simple guidance would've been fine, i.e. it doesn't belong in development but what need was there for so many people to abuse the OP? Zero as stated by Impact7! If you've got nothing useful to say, then please say nothing and just report posts you don't agree with and let the mods take care of it.
Thanks

New to SP, looking for possible roms?

Hi all! I just purchased this phone (being shipped in the mail, will have it within a week or two), and I've already been perusing these forums for how to root/unlock bootloader/etc.
As I was looking into these forums, one thing I could not find is the LED strip. Since I do not have the phone physically in front of me yet, I am unsure of how the phone names that feature, so I am not sure what to look for.
Are there any roms that utilize the LED strip at the bottom? Or will I have to stick with stock?
Also, sorry for the double post, I put this in both Android Dev, and Original Android Dev, because I am not sure which this would fall under, mods, feel free to move/delete if it's in the wrong section.
It should be in Q&A...
Use stock 4.3 if you want all the led features, or anything based on it eg: eXistenZ
Sent while my supervisor wasn't looking

So let me enlighten you as to how things are done here...
First of all, if you create a thread to ask a question, you create it in Q&A
Secondly, you don't duplicate threads just because you're not sure where to create them!
I notice in your other duplicate thread, that you wanted to argue with other members when they advised you that your thread was in the wrong place...
thehritzinator said:
In other forums on XDA, generally q&a about specific dev options goes in these two subsections. I've seen it, and participated in it, in forums such as Nexus 7, LG Optimus L9, and the Galaxy S2 and S3.

Wrong. The rule is site wide...
If you're in an existing ROM thread in a Development forum, you can ask a question there (if the OP allows) but you do NOT create a new thread in the Development forums to ask a question.
I hope you're clear on this now for the future.

Knock On issue..can't post in development thread

I need to ask a question regarding a my knock on issue but can't reply to a thread that I want to post in. So I guess I need to post in here to see if someone can copy my question to that thread. I would like to get this resolved but I'm at a stand still until someone can help me out.
This is the thread I want to ask a couple of questions in.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-g2/development/easy-verizons-hidden-menu-t2825967
I've followed the instructions for the hidden menu. I've got it installed and did the firmware update. It seems to be working for everyone. It's not for me however. I'm on the newer version and I still can't get the knock on to work. Knock off works fine. I've noticed that some of my apps have dead spots on the screen also.
What do I do next. It was working fine last night. I put the phone on my charger around 2am last night, woke up at 9 and it didn't work.
Will a factory reset work? I'm on verizon 24a stock rom but rooted. I noticed that there is a system update available. I really don't want to have to reflash back. I like the phone as it is. I just want the knock on feature to work and my other apps. Can someone help me out here.
Thanks,
Jake
Rather than being in such a rush to post in a Development forum, spend a bit more time to ensure you post in the correct section to begin with.
We have a Q&A forum for a reason... that's where this should have been posted so I've moved it there.
Also, Development forums are for Development. They are not generally for the purpose of posting your Q&A.
Search properly first... You're unlikely to be the first person to experience your issue and your question has more than likely been answered multiple times.

Sorry....I've search and search for my specific problem and there's nothing in these threads that cover it. I was under the assumption that I could only post in the general forum only due to my post count. Didn't know I could post in the Q&A forum or I would have put it there. Thanks for moving it for me.
What I'm trying to understand is since there's already a thread on this problem, why shouldn't I be allowed to post in it instead of starting a new thread about the same topic that won't be looked at. I'll follow the rules but to me it would seem easier to post in that thread without having to start a brand new thread on the same topic.

OnePlus 7 Pro Camera2API

I'm posting this thread asking all of you to join our fight to get camera2api fixes from OnePlus itself. You don't need to do anything special, just upvote thread, and post a reply agreeing if you have spare time. Everything is explained in the link below. I hope together we can achieve our victory

If this thread is not in the right place, I ask to be moved to it's right place.

And may I ask why the f..k would this be an unrelated forum. It has everything to do with our device, and the possibility to gain access to aux cam without rooting the device. The only way OnePlus will ever consider if bunch of us would give the support on the tread opened on their forum. If moderators say or notice it is in the wrong section of OP7Pro forum, they will move it. So if you won't give the support just back off.
