First you need to be on official or non-official ported nougat.Its important to be on nougat.
Stepseasy as hell)
Install following apps as normal apk.

What's your model? You can find some addon's of ROMS to flash the edge screen with its addon's.
it only works for first time only...after that it does not work........

Try this( https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195912766 ) zip from Revolution ROM addons. During installation check edge screen only.
And make sure to do nandroid backup if something goes wrong.

Try on any custom ROM with android NOUGAT but not cm based.
Remember that this is not official so problem may occur. :fingers-crossed:

which kernel are you using?...
THIS OS IS ONLY FOR SM-G531H. G530, G531F AND OTHERS DOESN'T SUPPORT
Here is Cyanogenmod 12.1 backup for SM-G531H. It is just test version and it has list of issues:
- wi-fi doesn't work (don't turn on)
- RIL doesn't work (you can send requests, but no callings)
- audio doesn't work
- if wipe dalvik cache then you will got bootloop
What works:
- memory (internal storage and sdcard mounts and works)
- both cameras
- keys
I hope there are found peoples who can help me to fix all of this issues.
To install download archive from link and unzip it to sdcard, then go to TWRP Recovery and restore it. Don't forget to make backup of your system.

No, there are based on different proccessors, G530H has Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and G531H has Spreadtrum SC7730SE

possibly not working due to the kernel
I installed the Rom on my J7 Prime (SM-G610Y). The installation ended successfully but the phone could not start too. waited for almost 15 minutes and its all black screen, samsung logo didn't appear even the led notif, it acts like there's no activity thats why I restored back my back up

You need to run magisk additional environment setup after initial booting rom. Run magisk, it will ask for additional setup, click yes and then the phone reboots

This rom will work on n935f with the stock note fe kernel without Dm verity
