Great rom, using since yesterday and everything works great so far
Camera isn't working for me, will try to get a logcat when i have time, i tried Footej, Cameringo, Google Camera, Open Camera, none of them work

Tampoco me funciona la cámara con ninguna app!
@Allstargaurav thank you for bringing this ROM to our old Moto G. It is stable for a daily use, I have not found any major bug (except the camera not working, but I don't take pictures with that phone). The only small thing I have noticed after 2 days is that a flashlight cannot be activated from the quick settings tile.
I have also a question regarding the additional navbar soft buttons that can be activated from extensions - where can I get the numeric codes of functions that can be assigned to the buttons?
I look forward to the next release with more goodies on board
Edit: none of the external app can activate the flashlight so it is apparently related with broken camera
I found three bugs and needless to say the camera doens't work (Cameringo included).
1. Torch Icon doesn't work.
2. App info for Via is laggy and very unresponsive.
3. Security and Encryption says my phone is encrypted even though it isn't and encryption doesn't work. It just reboots.
4. Cameringo doesn't work along with other camera apps.
But I'm okay with the flaws. I can live with them. Thanks for proloning the life of my Android anyways!

Just to double-check, and because I admit that I cannot believe this, as the camera is always broken on new OS builds, does video recording work on this ROM on the STOCK CAMERA?
UPDATE: Video recording, or rather, attempts to record video, will result in the camera no longer working until the next boot, and it will freeze whatever app is used to record video. Also, advanced reboot options do not work at all, as it gets stuck on "rebooting to <insert mode here>".
I gave it a go, but the sim card wasn't recognised and I couldn't connect to a wifi network although the password was correct.
If anyone has any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, Magisk works, and it is better than SuperSU, but that said, have you fixed the camera bugs yet, whereby the camera freezes once you try to record video?

Well it was the first time I did it with the LOS 14 ROM ( The latest one) and the phone stopped detecting my adopted SD Card which had important data in it so I had to format it again for it to work again...

It is made for sprout4, so you will have no problem

Camera sucks anyways, the main issue now is the baatery backup. Device never sleeps, alway scaling to 1.3Ghz no matter whta governor is set
Full stable Rom and smoother than other N roms , but hotspot bug still exists. After turning on data, hotspot stops working and shows error. please fix this asap.
The rom Is smooth overall
but it has some minor issues-
1 Hotspot shows error after turning on
2.Proximity Sensor is on when the screen is locked
3.Wifi takes a long time to scan and connect to invisible networks
4. data needs to be set from the settings after every reboot
the rom is smooth apart from these minor issues which will be soon resolved by the developer i hope so

If you have added any camera tweaks in build prop then remove those and reboot. Otherwise cam works fine in Whatsapp and other apps

DUI means Navigation Bar Customisation options just like in DIRTY UNICORN rom which include PULSE, FLING, etc.
Try FUSE kernel or Darkone kernel as you like. Both are fully compatible with it and perform great.

It has some nice features over the Lineage ROM. However I can't find wifi hotspot and "-Long Press Back button to Kill App". It seems to me that it drains battery faster than LOS. I'll test some more tonight.
This is a clean as a baby ass aosp rom like the nexus and pixel google roms have. And this is what most people love. Battery drain should remedy it self after a few charges so let the rom settle a while and report back then

Besides these two things, the ROM feels very good, no stutters, no lags (rooted with Magisk + Xposed). Somehow I feel that there is a bit of a battery drain but it is too early to say, I need more battery cycles to judge.
@wbn1 AFH is always too slow for me. If you manage to find a mirror, use a download manager!

API 25 is for nougat 7.1, API 27 is for oreo 8.1
So after several times trying with different dolby for oreo, finally I found a combination for to work.
It is necessary magisk, and install both zips (dolby and viper) for to work well with dolby.

ROM is working smooth as expected(got one random freeze of screen where nothing worked had to hard reboot and it got solved.).
One thing is there that there are a lot of spelling mistakes in settings. Like accent is shown as aent and some more setting names are spelled wrong.
Edit: ok the spelling mistakes where because of a font in the font settings. On default font and few others i tested the words were correct.
Edit2: I'm currently out so cant provide you with logs but i just had a random soft reboot all i was doing was installing some apps from PS.
I'm on ob9 btw.
Does this have the Android Auto bug that a few custom ROMs have around blacking the screen out or flickering?
Running great here on top of OB9. Very stable over the last few hours. No random reboots. Install/setup went fine. No glaring issues to report this early on.
AEX rocked on my LG G3 and Axon 7. I'm sure it will be the same for the OP6.
Testing now, so far no bugs everything is fantastic. Only updated Rom that supports MicroG fully, even location properly. Full checkboxes across the board. I'll keep putting it through it's paces and report back.
Would love to be able to hide the notch though if you're taking suggestions

Good to know about MicroG, about Via I think it's always been like that but I agree it's a weird "partnership"
Definitely the best ROM so far for the OnePlus 6, using the Extended UI theme and the overall customisation options available set it above the rest in my opinion.
This will be my daily driver for quite some time now, thanks, and good work AEX team!
How's the camera/video functioning?
22 hours later and still very stable. Not a single random reboot. I'm at 50% with over 4 hours SOT. Very good considering this is the first cycle after install. I was tempted to install the latest RedFlare v3.30 but this older version is performing well.
hmm...just installed this rom....i wanted to ask why does the device heat up so much for first time setup???
also it owuld have better if the boot animation was full screen??

Now that vibration is fixed i am using this is daily myself.
Discovered that I forgot something and therefore the hard press homebutton doesn't work. Added that now and making new builds.
Both star2lte and starlte will be up soon.
Next builds after this will probably be for march patch.
Edit: new builds are up but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have fixed it. Probably AEX just doesn't swallow it as the same commits work fine on other roms.

With stock kernel it seems pretty decent. But i need a few more cycles to properly judge. It isn't really a bug anyway so that's why I removed it.

->Rom is based on AOSP. Verison is updated monthly.
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

Hi, i have a little problem. When I flashed the ROM today, everything was fine until I discovered that the fingerprint sensor wasn't working. I want to know if this is a bug or I just flashed wrong?

I reinstalled the ROM with encrypted data and it's still the same. In settings I don't have the fingerprint option. It just happen with this rom, maybe I did something wrong. Can you guys help me out?

Don't setup any screenlock then encrypt the data partition, after a reboot it'll be there. Or use Pitchblack recovery, it has FP scanner fix included as tweak zip
is this the last AEX rom available for Redmi Note 7 Lavender? or is there another option to try AEX on RN7, if possible a Android10 version?
