Great!
Now I have a crazy idea: Make an Xposed Module has uses this SDK for hooking any of your installed Apps and make it compatible with AA.
This will be the holy grail! :fingers-crossed:

AA uses a "video" stream for sending the screen data to the HU. This option (and the new 1080p) it's only for forcing the resolution. Stock size is 640p, and enhanced sizes are 720p & 1080p. Nothing related to "video play"!

You're free to not use it! I'm using Magisk+Xposed and my banking apps.
And the idea is fresh: Add "hooked" AA compatibility on-the-fly to any app! This can be done using Xposed.

Interesting... However, I prefer other type of Apps.

not necessarily to watch video, sometime you can "hear" mp4 song is also enough, rather than every time converting mp4 to mp3, when you want to listen
something like hearing waze instruction, once a while, not like you have to look at waze every time

wow. it is a remarkable good news.
I hope it's also possible to put an app running on the phone on the car screen.
Or is it possible to create an app that mirrors the phone screen?
I am looking forward to the development of the developers in the future.
Thanks.

This is possible, but:
Passing touchscreen events requires root.
Android Auto normally replaces screen content with its logo and it would be mirrored.

Even if you do not touch it, it will be a big help if you can see it on the car screen. I want to run 3rd party GPS app instead of Google map.

Don't know if its related, but how about V4A or other audio processors working on AA? At the moment none do...

Audio is channelled through USB while on AA, as far as I know... At least that's what I've read on specialised sites, forums, and tested on my own car. V4A works well while streaming through Bluetooth, but once you plug it in to USB, no processing is done since the head units DSP takes over...

[Q] ANT

what we can do with ant ? ant technology is included on our phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsi.ant.service.socket&hl=en
For medical studies...and stuff...:silly:
But XDA ROMs are not ANT enabled, though. Most devs here don't have those kind of devices, so they can't test.

The training gear in sports, have a thing like a remote device strapped to your chest, which monitors the heart rate/bits per min.
That is using ANT+ technology . Also some other (like Nike) have one in the shoes.
With ANT you can connect to any device of that kind in a fittness gym, monitor, etc (some software to monitor and graph all your phisical activities),
Cheers,

Really not such a big deal. A watch with ANT and chest-strap included can be around 15-20 euro. (a cheap one).
A lot of apk from market, free.
So, is really nothing, if you need it.
I think the apk is not enough. The phone must be ANT enabled, like it says in the app's market page.

There is also an apk. for ANT enabling. which runs in the background.
Wow, I though the ant thing was old, as I heard about it back last year, maybe even further back in time.....
Anyway, I do believe there is a app that enables it.

[Q] Cablevision's Optimum App crashes and loops when Xposed Framework is installed

I believe this is a known issue, but I haven't seen any updates about this in a while and I'd like to know if anyone has some ideas why it's happening or a workaround (other than uninstall Xposed, which works by the way).

Ask in the module thread... Otherwise... Who knows...
There's an app called Irdeto fix. It said it wasn't available on my G3 but I sideloaded it after googling it and it works flawlessly. I just downloaded it and I have fully functional optimum. Just allow it on Xposed.

Yeah... i was so excited to get the app working and schedule my DVR recordings, that I didn't check to see if live TV works, and it doesn't. I'm really hoping there will be a fix for this soon.
I was hoping RootCloak might work to hide Xposed from the Optimum App, but last time I tried, it didn't work. Try giving that a go.

Yeah, I was hoping Root Cloak would work as well, that was my first issue. I actually stumbled upon a thread that said it wasn't a root issue, just an Xposed issue, which I didn't realize for the past like 2 years! That's how I found the Xposed fix for it. I even e-mailed the developer of Root Cloak to please include Optimum but I think it's two different things that are triggering the Optimum error.

How to use FM radio?

I heard a commercial about FM chips in all smart phones, but the carriers don't activate them. Is this something that's possible with a custom ROM or root? Not a big deal, really curious though.

Nah, I subscribe to Google play music. I don't listen to the radio but maybe when I drive 5 minutes down the road and can t be bothered to take out my phone and turn on Bluetooth. Was just curious as I heard a commercial on the radio talking about corporations keeping the fm tuner off on your phone.

Samsung Gear IconX (2018) - won't connect to my note 9

Samsung Gear IconX (2018) - won't connect to my note 9 when the case is open, I have to manually turn on Bluetooth for it work. Does anyone have this problem?
I have tried resetting the earphones and have uninstalled the app but the issue still persist.
Did you press & hold the button on the back of case and then turn on Bluetooth? That's what I do with mine. Just did it a few hours ago.

Try pairing your cradle to the phone. Basically when the cradle is closed with earbuds inside, pair it again by pressing the bluetooth button. Worked for me once,

Try resting the earbuds. They have a small hole on them where you can do a hard reset. Refer to the manual for specific instructions.

no offense but i suggest you keep your opinions to yourself if you yourself have no plans in helping besides telling me what info i should've provided in the first instance as this does not offer any solution to my issue.
I know what i disabled, the apps i disabled are not related to anything that could've stopped this from working. Also, if you read my previous post i specifically said this used to seamlessly work. I'm 95% sure the issue is not related to what i've disabled, i was merely expressing that 5% doubt.
Again your opinion is not required if you're not going to offer any solution.
Where in my post did i mention that the issue started AFTER i disabled some apps?

View blood glucose level on DW3

I have the GW3 and a Galaxy S20 Ultra. I receive glucose readings from the Dexcom transmitter to my phone. I know that this is a long shot, but I wonder if anyone has been able to pair their Dexcom G6 CGM with the new GW3?
I would also like to know this, especially if it bypasses the annoying Dexcom warning notice screen before showing the reading.

look for the G-Watch App. It has a watchface for the TIZEN watches. Compatible with Dexcom and Abbott Libre + Miao
Thank you! The app installed fine to my watch. However, I didn't particularly like the limited info on the watch face. I found a YouTube video which integrated an app called NightWatch and this did the trick for me. I can use any watch face I want and with a touch of the watch face I can see my reading.
I do greatly appreciate you input because that got me searching!
Get all the details for the fb group for g-watch. You need to select the data source for the settings menu.
