Getting Note 8 Today...Anything I should be aware of or change? - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

I am finally leaving my Nexus 6P for the Note 8. My phone went dead while on a call and I still had 30% battery left. Google said they would give me a refurb 6p but it's a 2 year old phone...time to upgrade. I took advantage the $250 off deal from Best Buy and the Verizon payment plan...
Anything I should be aware of or settings I should tweak right away? I haven't had a Samsung phone since the Note 4 (I had the Note 2 before that)...Is Touchwiz any better than it was with earlier phones? I watched several reviews and it looks so much better then I remember...
Thanks!!!

Save yourself the time and hassle.. get a whitestone dome tempered glass screen protector.. it's worth it.

Personally I've never used a screen protector on any of my smartphones dating back to the T-Mobile G1 and I'm presently on my 19th. Never had a scratch or an issue with any of the screens. There are some new things for Samsung now, you can use Substratum with out root, you will need the Sungsratum add on too. There is also a thread on layers where you can get dark notifications and change the ugly Samsung nav bar icons. And get a good case, it's an expensive phone to replace if you drop it.

Keep your receipt ( jk ).

Get used to poor sounding speakers especially noticeable coming from 6p and tw which is not great.
Other then that great phone

Touchwiz isn't the monstrosity it use to be, it's actually enjoyable since the S7, it manages resources well. I only get 2% drain. Overnight. Your going to probably love the note 8. Battery life is really impressive and I came from a s8+

Many do for receiving calls, ringtones, notifications, YouTube and speaker calls.
Look I'm being quite picky perhaps because I've been using iphone 8 plus and HTC u11 my expectations for a flagship phone.

Yes. $45 for the only glass screen protector worth getting on this phone. Take a look at what it actually is.

Not to be a jerk but the reviews are not that great. I would just take my chances with a $8 film. Did I look up the wrong product?

I've used it. works fine. look at what kind of product it is and the installation process. You're bound to get people complaining because they couldn't do it right. You could argue it's whitestone's job to make the application process as foolproof as possible, but ultimately, they have a product that works, and an installation process that works. So many of those ratings aren't ratings against the utility and functionality of the product, it's ratings against their inability to apply it for whatever reason.
---------- Post added at 17:38 ---------- Previous post was at 17:37 ----------
Keep in mind that they changed the installation process like 2 or 3 times since it first came out so a good number of those reviews were people who were using the early versions of the product.

Ah OK that makes more sense. I just picked up a Note 8 yesterday so I'm new to the scene here.

Thanks for all the tips everyone! I am LOVING this phone! I never realized how slow my Nexus 6P has become until I tried the Note 8!!! The speaker worked just fine on speaker phone, the fingerprint/face/Iris scanners all work flawlessly. I ordered a case and the flat wireless charger for my nightstand and plan on ordering the wireless fast charging charger on Friday...
Any other tips...settings to tweak, cases that work well., accessories that are useful?
Thanks again!!

you have to check the respective forums/threads for all that type of info man..plenty of stuff out there, but this isnt the thread to discuss all those various topics..

You just left the last of the grown up phones from Google. Now they make phones for kids. Pixel? What were they thinking? Anyways the Note8 is a great phone. The best phone I have ever had. My 2nd favorite phone was my Nexus 6. That was the first phone that I actually kept for the full 2 years and never got tired of. You will like the Note8 it's a great phone. Guess we can hope that Google will bring back the Nexus line.

This IS the Questions & Answers forum right? Why not have ONE topic with everything in it...

I agree with you Jason; I still have my Nexus 6, and it still works just fine, but this Note 8 is really something..
I've had many Sammy phones over the years, but didnt care for them much recently; now that touch jizz is easily bypassed, and there is more than enough power in the Note 8 for doing all sorts of stuff, this is the premier phone out right now..sure, it would be nice if the bootloader was unlocked on the snapdragon model, but frankly, I couldnt care less about rooting it right now, since it works so well right out of the box..

Really? I find the battery life on this terrible compared to S8+

Well it's a preety bad buy for the money you are throwing into and its not even close to the flagship phones out there. For the same price samsung note is a better option by a looooooooooong shot.
and funny part is few phones are having a lick of lollipop before you even get a nexus 6 in hand. there will be even more phones on lollipop before u get it in your pocket late November. so why shall someone buy a nexus 6?

But the note 4 is locked down on verizon...... #thissomebullshi.
i am having second thoughts about it now.
My bro got the lg g3 and i am diggin it. it is rooted and capable of flashing custom roms. and there is a lollipop leak for one of the versions
i am not opposed to touchwiz. but i am not looking to do another samsung product. i usually just run the google launcher on my s3 anyway. i thought this phone with those specs would come out and destroy the competition performance wise.
i am holding out for more reviews. but as of now, what i see is depressing.

Kind of pushing the horse in front of the carriage, huh? The device isn't even in the hands of consumers yet. What reviews are you reading that are poor? The device looks very promising and I have seen nothing but good reviews.

I've never seen a carriage where the horse didn't belong in front. Based on the reviews of those who handle every device, I'm not sure the average consumer could add anything constructive to the collective information that's already out there. Almost all of the reviews that are out now are pretty down on the phone on several fronts (battery life, overall performance, camera, screen light output and the screen in general). All of this has definitely made me question my decision to get it. I am also in the "no more Samsung for me" camp so I will probably skip upgrading at all this year and hope that may/june brings something more interesting, or even this time next year. Being on Sprint doesn't help since they don't get half of the good phones that come out. As a Note 3 owner/user I don't use most of the phablet features and hate TW/Knox. Although I tempered my expectations about the Nexus 6, I am still disappointed with what the reviews are saying.

So I have only seen three reviews, they do not state anything that you are saying. Battery life is Average according to all reviews. Performance is amazing, except some studders but that is likely fixed with todays OTA. Camera has been nothing but positive, screen has been very positive for natural color. Can you link the review you are talking about?

We both know the phone won't get 24hours of battery life. The few reviews I watched said they managed to get at least 4-5 hours of screen on time. That's fine for me. Can't really see anyone having a problem with that. Define overall performance? I have seen nothing but reviewers praise the device for outstanding performance and great fluidity. Isn't scree light output and the screen subjective anyway? What you may find to be a bad screen, I may not.
Even if this device isn't that great, there really aren't that many other options right now. The Note 4 would be great, except it runs TW which is horrible. What's next for flagship phones? The iPhone 6 plus? Yeah, I think not lol.
On the contrary, I am hoping that Samsung strips its pathetic software for the Galaxy S6 and rewrites it. I want it on par with with a stock android experience, or at least fluid like such.
It should be noted that Eric Limer of Gizmodo did get well over 24 hours of battery. He said he woke up on day 2 with 20%, and with 10 minutes on the charger was able to make it to 6 pm on day 2.
I'll be canceling my order as I decided on the Xperia Z3 instead. I'm pretty disappointed in the reviews of the N6, I was hoping on better battery life.

Your comparing apples to oranges on that one. The Note 4 may have "beast" like specs, yes, however, it DOES NOT perform like it does. Its extremely laggy and hiccups. Many people have reported delays when launching apps. Not something a "beast" like phone should do, huh? Not too mention the locked down bootloader. Yeah, I won't be picking up a Samsung device for a long time.

If I return the Nexus 6, I will just buy a Note 4 developers version. I ordered from Motorola so I can't cancel until I receive the phone.

Most of the reviews I've seen it has comparable specs as the Note 4. I'm just wondering if it truly compares or best the Note 4.

Upgrade from Note 3

Hi I have a Note 3 with me and I got a Note 4 during Cyber monday and I also have a T-Mobile gc for 100 off. Also T-Mobile is buying back my Note 3 for 325. So my cost for the Note 4 is 325 (650-325 Trade in credit) I am confused now as is it worth it to spend the extra money now. Can people who have upgraded from Note 3 to Note 4 comment on this.
A couple of things about me.
Wife has a iphone 6 plus and we take pics with the 6 plus so I can live without a not so gr8 camers.
I dont game at all.
I love the Spen and take notes also browse the web a lot o my phone.
I went from the 3 to 4. The s pen on the 4 is better. I draw etc and it works so much nicer. I also like the upgraded software for the pen.
sent from my GN4 N910T 4.4.4 stock rooted
That's good to know, I don't draw but I like to write with the pen. other than that how is the rest. The writing is really nice on the Note 3 also. Overall how is tue performance of Note 4 805 processor?
Another thing is we are also going to get 64 bit processor Soon- And the Note 5 next year will definitely have 64 bit processor. So I am really confused is it worth while to wait or upgrade and more over my Note 3 is in good condition.
Well all I can say is everything I do feels faster. Chromecast video play better. I do a mix of reading, watching videos, games, drawing, writing and replaced my PC with the note line. The Note 4 only has 2 things I don't like. I don't need QHD, it makes on screen elements a little to small in Ingress. The other is they didn't keep the temperature sensor. Other then those two minor issues I can't find issue with it.
I can't wait to see some custom ROMs over the next few months. I have owned a lot of phones and tablets and by far the Note 4 is my favorite. I do use Nova launcher since I can't stand the limits in TW.
sent from my GN4 N910T 4.4.4 stock rooted
Well I know the s6 was supposed to cone with new chip set but they stopped that. Nobody knows what note 5 will come with. 32 works great so is 64 gonna be better. Who knows. Samsung don't even know yet. They still have no real idea till they fix issues with s6 and then maybe focus on 5.0 for note 4 then get back to building note 5
BAD ASS NOTE 4
It's probably an unpopular opinion to have in this forum, but i'm a little disappointed I spent the money to upgrade. It's not to say the Note 4 isn't a great phone, out of anything out there right now it's an easy pick for me, but it is in no way a significant upgrade from the 3. There are some very slight improvements, the screen for one. The screen on the 3 was already stellar, so it's hard to achieve a major upgrade here. The camera gets slightly more detail, although the photos are noisier and have more sharpening added to them (possibly the reason for the added noise?). The battery life is worse, not by a significant amount, but it is still worse for me. I notice no speed difference at all, if one exists it's too slight for my level of perception. The speaker is worse, maybe not in quality, but in placement. The build is nicer, definitely feels higher quality, but this is perception too, the Note 3 was already proven to be quite tough. I keep my phone in a case, so that's ultimately not much of a benefit to me either. The fingerprint scanner I don't use, tried it and it often required multiple swipes, seems easier to just enter a code. The new white/cyan color scheme is atrocious, and I don't know what the hell they were thinking doing this on a phone with an AMOLED screen. Black backgrounds make MUCH more sense, not just to take advantage of high AMOLED contrast, but to conserve battery power also.
All in all, I regret spending $400 to upgrade, but the Note 4 is still an awesome phone. If I had been upgrading from an S4 or a Note 2, something along those lines, I think I would have a lot less regret about the money spent. Ultimately it depends on how much you want the slight improvements.
I came from an s4. Not a note 3.
But, I can tell you this phone is awesome. It's the "it" phone. And, will be for a long time.
Take the money for the note 3 and take the plunge.
My path has been g1and a wing, g2, s2, s3, s4, note 4.
I wouldn't have considered a note up until now because of the lack of development.
But, now. It's awesome. And, we are so lucky it's not locked down like the other carriers.
PS
We won't hate you because you admitted you have an iPhone.

Thanks for taking time to explain it. I do feel same but I also think by upgrading we will have a newer device and also the warranty is now extended to one more year. Look at this this way say if we were to sell our note 3 end of 2015 we would hardly get anything out of it but by selling note 4 at least we get 300 so our upgrade might be only 25..... That is where I have the whole confusion.
My Note 3 battery barely makes it to the end of the day. I am not rooted and don't want to as I use a lot of soft card for cash back. I definitely don't want to loose that.

I had checked. I upgraded from a note 3 to a note 4 a few weeks back actually. That's why I sold mine on craigs list for funnily enough $325 as T Mobile were offering peanuts.
By the way well worth the upgrade. Think of it a refinement at its best.

Good points, resale and warranty are valid reasons to trade up. My comments really focused on the complaints that I have with the phone as most other people have covered the high points, and of course there are many. It's subjective, obviously, but I don't think anything else out there at the moment surpasses it as a complete package.
I never owned a note 3 before. But I do own a 2012 Note 10.1 which I love very much. This Note 4 is even faster than my tablet and it really is impressive with everything I can do with it.

Yea I am on T-Mo. I never seen a Att phone thread so empty before.
They think they are protecting their phones when in reality it only drives customers away because most people that root their phones actually know what they are doing and it rarely causes problems. Let's see what happens to them with such an attitude towards customers

I assume most Att customer that wants a Note 4 will just buy a unlocked Tmo version.
I've never had/seen a better phone.
I have a GN4 on TMO. Have been experiencing download lags on the 4G network. Not sure if it's the phone or the network. Anyone else having similar issues ?
I bought 2 for myself. My gf has one, too.
My sister has one, as well.
I love mine. My main gripes are the 2.5D glass and how the design on the front covers up the capacitive buttons/LED notification light.
At this point, I think you're late to the game (expecting response, lol). Might as well pick up the Galaxy S6 in the meantime until the Note 5 produces tears in our eyes.
I wouldn't say, "late to the game." Seems like things are just getting good. We just got official cm nightlies, and have a ton of roms.

i considered waiting for S6 or even M9, but both will not be offering replaceable battery. They wont cost that much less than a note 4 either.
+1
That's a smart speculation based on the recent pictures leaked.
Does this mean the Note 4 is the last of Samsung's "Smart" Phones? :crying:

Hands down the best phone I've ever owned! Runs flawless stock.

I just returned my N910C

Yes, I returned my N910C and decided not to buy this MAGNIFICENT phone again. I am sick and tired of finding the right screen protectors that will not have HALO. I am also tired of the scratches on the bezel that seems to be getting worse every time I remove the case. I am also tired of finding the sweet spot when I put the phone on the Qi charger because I am using a third party Qi receiver that is not centered on the back of the phone.
I kept a blind eye on the 5.0.1 lag (previous apps) and worse battery performance than 4.4.4 hoping Samsung will immediately push updates as this is still a top of the line phone/phablet, but it seems like they are don't give a damn and are focusing on the S6 and S6 Edge, and there is another news that the iPhone 6s is coming so Samsung is preparing for the Note 5. That hit the final nail in the coffin for me...
I have wasted a lot for buying and trying different tempered glass and cases that will fit with the OEM Qi charger
I am now looking at the older Note 3 and other alternatives, but I am not in a rush... I might wait and see what the Note 5 brings on the table.

I bought a 2.5D Screen protector that fits perfectly on my phone,i spent just 3 dollars., yes, i've scratches everywhere, but who cares ? put a case and forget this, remember, it's aluminium!
Samsung will update the Note 4 with the newer touchwiz soon.. i'm having the same battery life on lollipop that i was having on kitkat, 4.5~6 hours of SOT on a full day.
the major problem it's the lag on recents apps (i can live with this), with BOC7 they fixed the GPU bug, so, no phone is perfect, but the note 4 it's the most close to it.
I have to eat my words....... I just ordered another one for myself, and one for my wife as she wants to upgrade her S4, and no, iCrap is banned in our family... I can't find anything better for my needs atm... I'm really F%^&# by samsung

I downgraded back to KK because of all the problems, like you I am struggling to find a phone with the same credentials as the Note 4, as a day to day handset it is awesome on KK, camera is amazing only just being edged out by the LG G4 it would appear.
I've been looking at a Nexus 6 but it is just massive and I think the N4 is about as big a phone as I am comfortable with, considering rooting it and installing CM12.1 atm.
I regret not returning my Note 4 when I could...
I must agree, this phone is bug ridden...
Recent apps loading screen is far to laggy. Closing all apps randomly. Camera performance is terrible in any light other than outdoors with fantastic lighting. Sound isn't that great through the speaker... GPS bugs. I mean, I'm very disappointed with Samsung for not pushing updates faster to this phone... If a few more months come and they're not all ironed out, I'm going to just take a hit and buy the G4 or the Z4. Yeah, I'll miss the screen size... but in all honesty, battery life, performance and camera are the most important things. Battery life is hit and miss from day to day... Performance while multitasking is laggy and a hit and miss. I hate multitasking and then only pressing button again to see that it had cleared out ALL my apps! And the camera? Meh... I mean, good ... very good camera! But only for day shots. I miss my 1520 / 930 camera... Wow... What a camera! But no WP for me for a while though!
Maybe I'll just argue with Amazon for a while... Maybe they'll return my device...
G4 is probably best bet with 5.1
Problems are really down to Android 5.0.x, have a look at the Xperia Zx owners they are having similar problems with 5.0.x
We just need lil fixes for our Note.
GPU, interface lag, memory bleeding, frequency scaling and get rid of annoying log of every f*cking app.

Google did a shoddy job with 5.0.X updates, even the Nexus users are complaining a lot so leaving the Note 4 for another phone that is also on 5.0.X or 5.1 is pointless really.

Very true. Using the Nexus 5 wasn't very enjoyable pre-5.1. Now with 5.1.1, it's even better. Google's fault, not Samsung.

I dont know why you are having such problem.
Have you tried SweetROM? C has more custom roms than U, and U users are doing just fine. You will never find a phone that doesnt scratch, it seems half of your problems are not even directly concerning note4; qi charger.... screen protector.
Life is not perfect, but we try to deal with it. Try doing somethingelse if you find yourself staring at your phone.

Excellent, just needed to clarify that. As I've read on some online stores that you have the Note 4 N910C needs to be activated with a local SIM Card and you have to make a 5 minute call before you can use it internationally.
Are you people on drugs or? Why the heck would you return your phone because you can't find a screen protector? It's Gorilla Glass 4 for **** sake, you don't need a screen protector. And I don't know about the lag you're talking about, but my Note 4 doesn't have any lag on recent apps and I get 6 hours avg. SoT. Camera is one of the best I've encountered to date, the only one that can rival it is the Iphone 6.
Careful with rushing out to buy the G4, the 808 has poorer performance than the 805 and the GPU isn't as good, you'll get dropped frames in games etc. I'm tempted by the G4 but I see absolutely no improvement over the Note 4. A lot of the Note 4s problems is Lollipops "Vista's" fault and whoever said the camera on the Note 4 isn't good is mad, it's one of the best smart phone cameras around today. Whilst the N4 isn't perfect, it's still top or close to top of the smartphone pile these days. Wait a couple of months and people will be moaning and complaining about the G4 or latest flagship. It's the Emperor's new clothes syndrome.

That would be the Note 3, Note 4 is not region locked but they did limit the LTE bands by region to reduce the grey market for phones.

Really? I saw on a online store that the Note 4 N910C is Region Lock, which is the reason why I asked about that. Since I know for a fact that Samsung did incorporate Region Locking starting from the Galaxy S 4 shortly after it's release.

You do know that just because you have a Gorilla Glass 4 screen doesn't mean that the screen of your phone can't be scratch or damaged? I've seen drop test, which have shown Gorllia Glass 4 screen spider-web when the hit the pavement!!

Anyone jumping ship?

So it's that time of year again when a new and honestly beastly lime of Samsung flagships is announced. The Galaxy S20 line looks legitimately promising but is it enought to give up the Note 9 and S pen though? Or are you gonna wait to see what the Note 20/+/Ultra has to offer a few months down the line.
I wanna see everyone's view on these new phones that ol Sammy has announced. I'm personally on the fence. I want the new tech but I just know the Note line will blow it out of the water later this year so it leaves room for a potential bait and switch lol.
What about you all?
Note line for me. Still have my Original Note1,2,3,4,5,FE,8,9,10...gonna see what Note11(20) has in store. If anything like the S20 I I'm sure it will be a beast.

I'm intrigued with just about any new midrange to flagship phone that comes out.
However, I usually steer clear of the S lineup for a few reasons.
1) No S-Pen. I rarely use it, but, it's nice to have when you want/need it. The price difference between the top of the line S series & the Note is negligible considering you get the S-Pen & usually some newer hardware/software features.
2) I don't particularly care for the curves on the S series, preferring the boxier look of the Note.
3) The hole punch. Yeah, you can (probably) hide it, just as you can on the Note 10, but, that kinda sux that you sacrifice screen real estate for a cleaner look. The fact that all the marketing pix hide it w/dark gradient wallpapers & having a software option to hide it is an admission that it's an awful stopgap before the hidden FFC's are available.
I'd be lying if I said I'm not tempted to get the S20 Ultra. The 5G speeds alone are definitely appreciable, both the Note 10 & OP7T Pro are definitely snappier with it. However, the eye-watering price of $1400-$1600 USD is a hard pill to swallow.
The only way I'll jump ship is if pre-order trade-in offers on the carriers (T-Mobile US here) is a lot better than the $300 that Samsung is offering. Otherwise, I'm hanging on to the Note 9 until the Note 20 arrives, or longer. Mine is running just as well as it did on opening day & battery health is still around the 95% range, kinda hard to trade it in for the measly $210 that T-Mobile is currently offering. (Not particularly interested in bothering with listing it on Swappa & the like, last time I checked, way too many available for sale,it's a buyer's market)
In the meantime, I scratched my itch for new hardware yesterday.
T-Mobile slashed the price of their Pixel 4 lineup:
Pixel 4XL was $899,sale price as of 2/12/20: $499.
Pixel 4 was $799,now 50% off as of 2/12/20: $399.
Got it (4XL) on T-Mobile's JOD, $0 down & free overnight shipping, ETA 2/14/20.
Will use it as a daily driver for the first week or two, long enough to determine if it's a keeper (for a backup/secondary phone) or, send it back during the buyer's remorse grace period.
Is the S20 worth getting?
I wouldn't fault anyone who doesn't want to wait for the next Note to land, but, I'd definitely stay away from the smallest one, as it doesn't have the MM Wave variety of 5G. Yeah, I know 99% of the US doesn't even have it available, present company included, however, @ $1000, no sale here.

Still loving my note 9. I see no reason to upgrade. Note9 still is peak smartphone for me. Note 10 was a step backwards (I don't like notches or holes in my display, and I like my headphone jack).
Note 11 or 20 or whatever likely isn't an upgrade for me either. Note 9 still goes two days on a charge unless I game on it, still fast as when I bought it, and still takes great photos. I'll wait until some of that changes.
My wife and I might be switching to something a little more stock related later this year. Just tired of bloat, crappy support when it comes to issues, and definitely something a lot cheaper. Maybe if Google does things right, I might just get two Pixel 4a/XL or whatever when they eventually come out? Not sure to be honest. OnePlus is now up there with the big guys in pricing so that might not happen. Don't know, but I do know that I will be keeping my Note 9 as a backup.

I'm gonna try my best to keep my 9 but I can't do pixels only because Google refuses to put in a micro SD card slot. That and the specs don't ever really impress me. There's never a wow factor. Besides it being stock Android there's nothing cool about it

Did you know cars have 4 wheels, and some even have 3? Brakes, windows, and engine, some gas, electric, diesel, and now hydrogen? They even have lights. Whoa. Wait, they should stop cloning each other!!!! I want a car without disc brakes!!! Needs to use polarity transfer for stopping before I buy it....
Bruh, it's called competition. You have to use some of the likeness of your competition if you're trying to tell their customers, "hey you can do the same thing over here, but a little cheaper." Well, you don't have to, but it sure makes it easier to win. I don't know what to tell you man. Go buy a windows phone? Oh wait those are the same too....

Yeah, the one thing I hate about the pixels is the affordability no longer really being a bumped compared to my Note 9. Putting shiny wrapping on a turd doesn't make it hot sh....you know where I'm going with this.
Luckily for me, my wife doesn't even use the spen, so I just need to make sure I get her a phone that's compatible with xfinity mobile that won't cost an arm and leg. ?

Not liking the price though, it's getting to the point where it's outside my price range, no justification in spending so much on a pocket pc that can be damaged, lost or stolen so easily...
And the note lineup is gonna be so much more expensive than the S20 variants...
Nope, kinda pissed that the plain note 10 is smaller than the 9 the 10+ is the same size as the 9 so you pay more for less? I kind my full rounded screen. The notch hole punch, whatever their doing these days. I like having a whole screen. The biggest thing for me is personalization. You look at iPhone and everyone has the same layout and everything. With Android is free reign. I like being in control of my device more so than the other way around

Exactly!
I may skip yet another year in the Note upgrade game, & this is coming from someone who got the Note FE (still have it).
The Note 10+5G (T-Mobile US) is a beast,warts & all.
However, while the 5G speeds are nice,if you have already fast 4G LTE &/or Wi-Fi most of the time, it's a hard sell when you have a perfectly fine Note 9 & that's why I returned mine during the buyer's remorse period.
If the Note 20 is priced much more than the S20 Ultra, I'll probably sit out another upgrade & will continue to do so until my Note 9 battery takes a nosedive....

I'm actually waiting to see what Samsung does with the new note. I just came from IOS to Android and I've always loved the Note series but I couldn't afford the Note 10 + currently so i got the note 9 for like $350 and it's so damn good. By the time Samsung announces the new note I should be financially stable enough to get it on launch day so I'll be patient and continue to use this beast of a phone.
Ladies and gents the Note 9 is the goat! When the 10 came out with the hole punch I was not loving it but I tried the 10+ before I bought the 9 I was using my note 8 which was great but the battery was poor life otherwise note 8 was great. So the note 10+ I bought was having very poor reception and when I was gaming some of my buttons were near the hole punch and it was effecting game performance so I looked at note 9 specs and seen that it's the last note with headphone jack no hole screen and 4000mah battery! Plus when I had finally decided to upgrade from note 8 the 9 had been out a year and a half so the prices were coming down, I bought not 1 but 2 note 9 from Samsung on ebay for 349.99 brand new! I am fully prepared for this to be the last phone I ever use...
