Update NPW26.4 - Moto X4 Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
Did one of you already update his Moto X4 (no Android One) with the update NPW26.4 ?
Since the update, I can't have data anymore and I don't know if it's my carrier or the phone :/
Thanks for your help

Mine came out of the box with NPW26.4, which is the September security build. Did yours come with August, and then update to Sept?
If you don't have data, try going to Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> More -> Network Settings Reset -> Reset Settings. See if that does anything for you?

an update package from Motorola broke my WiFi :(

hello everyone
I have a milestone XT701
today i went to my phone's Settings >> About Phone menu and checked for updates. it said that there is an "optional update package" (8.6mb) from Motorola Inc. ready to be downloaded
after installing the update and rebooting my device, the Wifi stopped working. is there anyway to go back and uninstall this update? or any other solution?
p.s.
the firmware version, according to the About Phone menu was "2.1-update1" before AND after I've installed the "optional updaet package"
thanks in advance.

My XT1063 on ST got it when it came out.
I grabbed the zip file posted here for the previous update and flashed via recovery. The first OTA. Today I got a new one [emoji41]
I also got the second Lollipop Fix OTA this afternoon. This is an update which seems to have fixed the low memory problem -- things do seem much quicker.
You're just doing the normal "Check for updates", right?
I also have the same problem with my Moto G 2014 dual sim (UK) it just says "Your device's software is up to date."
Can anyone help me please

how to update via firmware finder?

Hey guys. I found a new firmware that is approved for my device (not ROOTED) . It doesn't show up in my system update when I checked. So I tried the built in methods in the firmware finder app and it didn't show the latest update in the System Update app.
Previously, I have used the Proxy and DNS methods to install updates via firmware finder app, but now it seems those methods don't work as well. Are there any other ways to get the update?
The proxy method from the app still works fine for me. Just did an update two days ago to the August Google security patch. Just make sure that when using the proxy method that:
a. change your wifi connection to "local host" , port "8080"
b. go to system update in settings and begin the update
c. when the update is at 5-10% pause the update
d. go back to wifi settings and return your settings to normal by removing "local host" and "8080"
e. return back to system update and continue the update.

[Resolved] Galaxy S10 System Update (OTA) Greyed Out ? (Sprint)...

[Resolved] (By resolved I mean that a factory reset corrected the issue, although it wasn't the desired option!)... [Edited]
Hey everyone.
Problem with Galaxy 10 (Sprint) downloading OTA updates. (Greyed out / disabled).
Stock phone, not rooted.
I have two of these phones, one update is OK but the other is disabled. Not sure what I did or what happened but need help if possible.
Settings, Updates, option to check/download updates, and option to use wifi are both greyed out and disabled... I have tried updating prl, profile, and hard reset... Tried update on/off option in developer options. Nothing. Two days searching with no info I can find on the web.
Any ideas ?
Thanks!
[Resolved - Edited] - Factory reset, Power+Bixby+VolUp boot, clear cache, factory reset.

In settings under general management have you tried "reset network settings" ? Have you tried clearing the cache partition? How about booting in safe mode to see if the options become available.
MrMOOn, no I did not try Odin...
Tel864, yes I tried all that except safe mode. Safe mode was a disaster on my other phone so I stay far away. ... I also chatted with Samsung and Sprint (pointless).
I ended up just factory resetting the phone.
It works now.
Thanks for the suggestions!
