I did a clean install and get the message that com.qualcomm.embms has crashed shortly after boot-up. I can confirm that message though and the phone seems to work well. Thanks a bunch for porting the Nougat ROM, Carlos!

Camera api 2
First of all, MERRY XMAS EVERYONE!
Thanks to the dev for this very nice rom.
I just have one question. I see the "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled" build.prop registry set to "true", but I can't see the camera 2 api being used in "open camera" or "vf-5 camera", and I am not able to install and use HDR+ in any version of "google camera" I have tried (most just crush on startup, and one produced the same pics with or without HDR+ enabled)...
Has anyone managed to make it work? Or is it a hardware thing? Is the 4A not able to use camera api 2?
Using Dec build of RR while there is no SIM card hotspot works but with sim card it shows an error?
Is there any way to fix it?

Made my phone really fast but there is a small issue, when the screen is off, it's actually not, it just turns into black and due to that it consumes too much power from the battery
is there anyway to fix this?
edit: the brightness slider is not working too, i think it has something to do with the issue mentioned above?

You need to flash MIUI8 back, this rom actually relies on MIUI8 and not MIUI9. You will have backlight issues (screen turn off but it's actually turned on). As for the other rom yes, you need to flash MIUI9 to fix the backlight issues
The hotspot got fixed but sometimes it will show Error. Phone reboot randomly (rare bugs)

awesome. i still flashed the build just to have a feel of the legendary RR. Loved it. Cannot wait to use it as my daily driver. I am not pushing for the build but just damn curious, any tentative date ? you can take as long as you want . We will wait patiently.
Also has problem with my camera.
For the gapps, I installed the benzo-gapps-M-20151011-signed-chroma-r3.zip (from xda) and they have solved the google play store error I was getting.
Waiting for the next build with camera fix

I had used the incorrect Gapps and was stuck on 'Checking Connection' but after reflashing with correct Gapps all seems well. Including camera. Seems solid so far. :good:

yes it support chines/korean versions too but you have to flash a 330S/k/ L Kernel
and yes new rr boot animation.

Tested on i9060m. It only stays in the Samsung logo and boot in Recovery

No, I did not. But I noticed that the speakers are reversed in places. therefore viper not much help
