Creating Widget(s) with UCCW
Now that you have everything set you can start creating your own custom UCCW widgets.
Open UCCW to start creating them.
After your done creating your widget, Press and hold on the Nova desktop and select Widgets and the select the UCCW 4x4, select the widget you made from the list, be sure to resize it to use the full screen once you’re done (Prior to locking the widgets)
Now UCCW will open, have fun. Trial and error.
Im not going to go into detail about how to create widgets using UCCW. as there are many, many things you can do with it.
However please note that items such as weather, events, contacts ect.. most likely will not work. (I have yet to find out how)
I would say install UCCW on your phone and play around on it and get use to how things work. (You can even create the widget on your phone and then save it and share it out and push it to your watch.
.
Once you have what you want Activate Pie by sliding from bottom of the screen up. And click the menu button. You can now save, give it a name (Using the new keyboard from earlier).
.
I played around with my Widget Creation for about 2+ hours to get it just the way I wanted. (All on the Gear, really should have used my phone to do this)
Once you’re done and everything looks good. Lock the widgets / activate hotspots
Activate Pie, select the Menu button, and select Lock Widgets
.
I have attached my version if you want it and then you can mod it as you see fit. (You can also save and distribute your own) Or open one that was shared to you.
(rename the extention from zip to uzip.)
.
I also used UCCW to create a background widget for my other screens.
Incredible work, thanks for doing it. If you have time, can you post instructions to install asks through adb on a Mac.
Tia,
Ian B
Very nice. I've done some of these, but this really makes it a lot simpler. I really like all the links to the apps/etc. Definately a good guide for all of us.

Ok, thanks but already used my wondershare trial and clearing cache and cookies does not give me another trial. Like it but, can't justify $40 purchase price.

I had this problem with Google Now and the following worked in getting the icons to change
To override this go to settings > apps > Google app > storage > manage space > clear launcher data will allow the icons to be changed as clearing data/cache of Google now launcher did not seem to do the trick.
Yup..just found it out..m using trebuchet..but this problem wasn't there in earlier builds..

[ROOT] [TASKER] [MAGISK] Gboard Auto Night Mode

As you all know, Google's dark mode for android is still fragmented. Gboard is yet to receive auto-dark theme for keyboard. So here with using magisk nad tasker with root we can create time based Gboard Auto Night Mode.
Follow this tutorial.
Requirements: Magisk Installed with root & modules support enabled. Either tasker app or franco kernel manager (FKM) app installed.
Download Links:
Tasker: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm
FKM: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.kernel
1. Flash magisk module GbNightMagic.zip from magisk. It will create required folders and scripts in internal storage (/data/media/0 or /sdcard).
Though there is pre-installed preferences present for both dark and light themes if you want to create your own gboard theme preferences follow step 2 & 3 else skip steps 2 & 3.
2. Create Light theme preferences: Edit Gboard settings with theme as your requirements for day time. Then flash magisk module GbLightPreference.zip It will create preferences in data/media/0/GboardAutoNightMode/light folder.
3. Create Dark theme preferences: Edit Gboard setting
s with theme as your requirements for night time. Then flash magisk module GbDarkPreference.zip It will create preferences in data/media/0/GboardAutoNightMode/light folder.
Once preferences are created, time to automate tasks using tasker or one click change theme using fkm! You can use either tasker (step 4) or fkm (step 5) or both.
4. Automate theming using TASKER:
- Install tasker app from play store if not already installed.
METHOD 1:
- Download all 4 .xml files given below.
- Now open task tab and import GboardLightTask.tsk.xml long-pressing "task" button. Same way import GboardDarkTask.tsk.xml to tasks.
- Now open profile tab and import LightGboardProfile.prf.xml long-pressing "profile" button. Same way import DarkGboardProfile.prf.xml to profiles.
- Now activate both profile if not active.
- Done. Gboard theme will get changed to Dark at 7:30 pm & Light at 7:30 am. You can change time as per your need in profiles.
Or
METHOD 2:
You can import following tasks and profiles files directly to tasker from these links. Just click "import" after opening link
in browser. Do same for all 4 links. All will automatically get imported to either tasks or profiles.
TASKs:
"DarkGboardTask!"
https://taskernet.com/shares/?user=...Z4lTz03CKZ+cNau9hyNE0=&id=Task:DarkGboardTask
"LightGboardTask!"
https://taskernet.com/shares/?user=...4lTz03CKZ+cNau9hyNE0=&id=Task:LightGboardTask
PROFILEs:

"GboardDarkProfile!"
https://taskernet.com/shares/?user=...3CKZ+cNau9hyNE0=&id=Profile:GboardDarkProfile
